Persephone Potter, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Peter Parker were all eating in the outdoor patio of an café across the street from Stark's Avengers Tower. They loved this restaurant a lot. They found this café due to Virginia "Pepper" Potts, one of their mothers two maternal American half sisters.
The other American half sister was Sally Jackson-Blofis who lives in Manhattan with her son Percy Jackson, her daughter Estelle Blofis and her husband Paul Blofis. She and Percy always comes over to visit the Potter-Black-Lupin home. Percy actually goes to the same school as Harry, Persephone, Hermione and Peter.
Petunia, their mother's full sister, had come to Sirius and Remus about a year and a half ago. She was tired, crying and covered in cuts, scrapes and very nasty bruises. There was even a small amount of dried blood behind her ears and in her hair. She wanted their help to divorce her drunk, abusive and manipulative husband.
Well, Vernon hadn't become like that till the day of their only child's death months before due to a car accident involving his heavy drug and alcohol abuse. And Dudley was smoking cigarettes heavily as well. At least a pack or two a day.
The autopsy showed that Dudley had liver and lung cancer and his heart had multiple heart attacks that were not reported. Petunia was shocked to hear this. She thought her son was a good person who didn't abuse drugs, alcohol and nicotine. But she was so wrong.
Sirius still had one lawyer left in Britain that knew how to deal with divorces. The other 2 were business related lawyers. Petunia is now a full on naturalized American citizen living in the apartment building across the street from Stark tower. She is Pepper's assistant, and she is dating a guy named Sam Wilson.
And speaking of Pepper, the four kids all personally knew her and Tony Stark. They had access to the second and spare lab on the penthouse level. It was their lab to make pranks to use on Flash Thompson, or to fix Peter's web slingers for his patrol, or use it for science projects for school.
They loved the lab Tony let them use. They had all tools they could play with. Now as Team Spider, they needed a day out about once or twice a month.
Which included eating out at low cost or fast food restaurants, getting new clothes and shoes if needed them, presents if it's someone's birthday or it's nearing the Christmas holiday. They haven't had to do a baby shower or a bridal shower just yet.
The four would get a new backpack and school supplies on the days Peter either lost the bag from not putting it in Persephone's car before going out on patrol or it got ruined by the school bully or a miss guided spell or hex. The latter happened to everyone at school at least three or four times a year so no one could really blame the caster.
And the candy when they want to do something crazy. They all love going to the m , Hershey's and Coca Cola stores. And sometimes the lego store when they want to prank Sirius. They love leaving little legos around for Sirius to step on and trying not to go crazy wondering how and who. But they also used the lego's for projects if they needed to build something for a visual for class or the science fair.
50% of the time, they use legos for the base of the project. The teacher didn't say anything because they were using what they had on hand. They even used legos, with the help of Thor, for a few models of Asgard for astronomy class. As they were talking about Asgard's orbit.
They used those same models for another class as well. They also have models of Mount Olympus with the help of Percy and Thor. They love legos.
There were days like this where Hermione and Persephone love getting purses and shoes and make up and clothes. They were typical girls in that area. And it didn't help that they have debit cards connected to the Potter and Stark accounts. Pepper and Sirius each got the kids a credit card.
Pepper gave them a credit card for gas and school supplies and buying her Christmas and birthday presents. Sirius's credit card was for emergencies. Like if a car was stranded on the side of the road and they needed a tow or they needed an ER visit because of stupid. America's magical community, including the hospitals, took muggle money as well as galleons.
After Harry payed for their meals, seeing as it was his turn, they all caught a cab and went to the candy stores they all love. The m and Hershey's stores. And maybe they would stop by the Coca Cola store and the Lego store before going home.
Everyone in the group was having a good time, having their mind off of Percy, till later that day. The quartet walked out of the m store hands full of about 10 bags each from to the m , Hershey's and the Coca Cola stores and heading towards the lego store when they were approached by a brunette woman in a navy blue catsuit.
The catsuit looked almost identical to Natasha's. Just the coloring is different on each. Natasha's helps her bleed into the shadows. This one looks like if the navy was trying to loose fabric weight.
The woman looked a little bit annoyed like she didn't really want to be there, like she had some family in town to visit. But was ordered to be there. Soon this African-American guy in a black leather trench coat with an eye patch over his left eye show up not happy. It looked like the man had a permanent scowl on his face.
Harry and Peter immediately went in front of Persephone and Hermione to protect them. They didn't want their girlfriends to get hurt by these strange people. They didn't know who these people were.
They could be two of Voldemort's death eaters in disguise for Zeus's sake. Yes, they all know about the Greek/Roman gods and Norse gods. After their run in with Thor, the Norse god of thunder, during his stay at Stark Tower, Zeus ordered Percy and Annabeth to tell Pepper, Harry, Persephone, Hermione, Peter, Sirius, Remus and the avengers about them.
Zeus's reasoning was that the avengers may need to know about them so they could do their job. And Percy hung around Harry, Persephone, Sirius and Remus all the time. And Percy's big three demigod scent would rub off on them some.
But that was months before Percy had disappeared with no trace. Pepper, Harry, Persephone, Hermione and Peter all used everything they had access too to their disposal to try and find the lost son of Poseidon. Harry and Persephone wanted to find their favorite cousin for their beloved aunt.
And when the demigods came to them to ask if they could find Percy, they found the spider lab was already filled to the brim with trackers and other software to find said son of the sea. Sally had beaten her son's friends to their family by 3 days. She knew they were good from her time helping them search for Tony when he goes off the grid.
They even had Tony, Thor, Heimdall and the X-men, especially Xavier and Jean, helping look for him before it's too late. Percy told his cousins and friends about Hera. About how she didn't really like demigods all that much, especially her husband's children.
And the search started last week. It was a good thing that it was the start of the summertime otherwise Percy would miss a lot of school. And you can not make up Wizarding school and not to be except to be held back.
Harry had a real bad feeling that they would be disappearing next. But the bad feeling was soon ended when Thor called the four kids into the nearby lego store.
The Norse god wanted a lesson on what lego blocks were and what they were used for. Persephone had a feeling that once Thor knew what legos were, he would go all out on the mischief. Persephone quickly runs to the Norse god of thunder, who quickly detected the young girl's fear.
Thor tucked Persephone into his side then walked into the store asking questions while trying to decrease his friend's fear and Anxiety. Persephone widely smiles up at her Norse god friend and started answering his questions. Persephone loved hanging out with Thor. It was always a adventure.
The two strangers tensed a bit now knowing that the teenagers they stopped were friends of Thor. And they knew to never mess with someone like Thor. Especially after what happened with Loki. They didn't need another Asgardian attacking them.
Hermione ran after her friend thinking that it was safer then with her boyfriend. Harry and Peter looked like they were going to fight the people in front of them.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Harry growled out
Peter put his left webslinger on his wrist as he reached for his wand with his right. Sirius and Remus told him about the war over in England. How it started up again two years ago. How many lives it had cost so far.
And how the death eaters wanted to kidnap the Potter children because of who they live with and who they are related to. That Harry and Persephone are known in both America and England on their fighting skills. Both Potter children along with Hermione and Peter have been training under the auror corps under Sirius's orders.
Harry also grabbed his wand. By American law, school age Wizards can use magic, but away from in the know muggles. And the only time you can use magic in front of muggles was in an emergency, like getting kidnapped.
The dark skinned man recognized what was happening with the teens and put his hands up in surrender.
"I'm not here to cause any harm. I just want to talk." He said
"What is your name?" Peter bit out
"My name is Nicolas Joseph Fury. But everyone I talk to and work with just calls me Fury. And I am the director of SHEILD and the avengers boss." He said
He had said his full name to be more human to the kids in front of him.
"How do we know that's really you? That you are not lying to us to get us to trust you?" Questioned Harry
"You're right. You don't know that." Fury said
There was a pause. Harry and Peter the saw the man claiming to be the avengers boss pull out a wand. The two teens tense up thinking that they would be subjected to one of the unforgettable curses.
"I swear on my magic that I am Nicolas Joseph Fury and I am the director of SHEILD and the boss of the avengers." He said
He then cast a spell and proved that he wasn't lying. Harry and Peter relaxed a bit now knowing that this information was 100% true. But they held onto their wands just in case. They still didn't know about the woman behind him.
