Alex turns on the TV and starts flipping through the channels. When she gets to Disney she sees that Toy Story 2 is on.She is about to change it when the song " When She Loved Me" by Sarah McLachlan comes on.
Maybe this will be a good song she thinks, she listens intently.
When somebody loved me,

Every hour we spent together lives within my heart

As Alex listens she thinks back to her relationship with Marissa. She quietly starts to cry.
Through the summer and the fall
We had each other, that was all
Just she and I together,

The tears are falling steadily know. Alex can't control it.
And when she was lonely,
I was there to comfort her
And I knew that she loved me
That was us then everything happened, she thought
So the years went by
I stayed the same
But she began to drift awayI was left alone

If only that could happen. But she's back with Ryan, I guess he was right. If I had to try that hard she didn't love me.

Alex turns off the TV and picks up the heart shaped necklace Marissa and she had stolen from Jodie. She starts to cry and eventually cries herself to sleep.
