Jasper: This day can truly fuck off.
Leah: What he said.
Bella: I agree with them both.
Seth:…It's not my fault so why are you all staring at me?!
Embry: As you can tell dear readers, things have devolved here in the AN's after the last chapter so let's hope things will still be standing after this one. Enjoy everyone.
The Crimson Eyed Drifter: Distance between Hearts
Chapter Twenty-Seven
London, Ontario (Canada) – Nightwalker's Base
Jasper Hale Whitlock
"God of War, Lord Frost demands your immediate attention," the copy of Carlisle said calmly to me. "Come with us and we will spare the lives of those you care about."
"Is "fuck off and die" an option for you to have, you mockery of Carlisle?" I hissed out as I balled up my fists, a scowl on my face.
He shook his head slowly as he took off his jacket and held out as he said "Oh dear, I was sure hoping for an easier time…Very well."
A moment later, two female vampires appeared by his side with a flash.
The first one was petite in size and looked to be the same height as Edward and she had long hair with unusual bronze appeared beside him, wearing a long black dress, a black bolero jacket, and black shoes.
The second one had was as tall as Emmett and muscular with tons of scars on her body with one scar going cross the bridge of her nose and she had short, spiky jet black hair, wearing A white tank top with black zipped up vest covers her front, a pink ribbon wraps around her left biceps, and boots cover her feet.
She also wore a black buttoned-up skirt covers her thighs, and she wears shorts beneath, with a piece of cloth similar to a coattail thing extending from the back of her skirt's waistband and ending at her ankles.
The shorter female vampire took the coat and folded it over her arm right and gave me a look of indifference. "The God of War. In the flesh so to speak," she said. Her voice was soft but there was this detached feeling in it.
"Holy shit, the legend himself," the larger muscular vampire said as she placed her hands behind her head, a toothy smirk on her face. "I can't wait to beat you down."
"I will be the one to challenge him," the mockery said with a small chuckle. "But should something happen, be prepared for a hard capture," he told her firmly.
"Understood father," the pair said with a bow of their heads.
He then gave me kind smile but beneath it, I could sense the killing intent behind. "Before we begin, there is something I must tell you God of War…" he told me and then I felt it. This hard, searing blow to my stomach despite not having a need for air, it felt like I had just lost my breath.
I could still see him next to his daughter but then the image faded away only to appear in front of me, his eyes staring into mine. "Never call me by that name. My name is…Veiss Cullen."
And then a moment later, I went crashing through several walls behind me before crashing outside into the barren street. I slammed my right hand and both feet to the ground, grinding to a stop while bringing up the cement beneath me before I stood upright.
What in the hell was that speed?
My legs then gave out, sending me back to my knees as the pain in my stomach began to build. I glanced down and saw that on my shirt in the area that he had punched, my skin had cracked like a mirror and a three trickles of venom was flowing from it.
That one punch did that?!
"Come on God of War," Veiss' voice said, which prompted me to look up. Through the hole that I had created, he walked out of it, his eyes trained on me like a viper, ready and waiting to land another critical strike.
"One punch surely can't take you down," he stated.
"Last I knew, you're name wasn't Saitama so you'd be right," I said as I rose back to my feet, my left hand pressed against my wound…
It's so weird to say that again after so, so long. "That was just a lucky shot. Come on," I goaded as I motioned for him to come to me.
"Good. Because I am far from done with you," Veiss said as a cruel smirk formed on his face.

"Jasper!" I screamed out in terror as he suddenly shot backwards through the wall. I quickly turned around to give chase but then that vampire, Edythe appeared in front of me.
Quick little bugger.
"This is between the God of War and my father," Edythe said softly. "Do not interfere."
"To hell with that!" I shouted as I swung my right arm back and threw a right hook on her face but then my fist stopped just inches from her left cheek.
It was like this cold, tingling feeling had wrapped around my fist but looking at it, I saw nothing.
"Welp, Looks like Royal owes me a few bucks," the other vampire said with a carefree grin. "Yeah cute thing, you should have really not tried to do that."
"How?" I asked her, my voice not conveying anything.
"Telekinesis. It's my gift," Edythe answered for the other vampire before she lifted her arm, her palm pressed against my chest.
"We are only after the God of War at this time…Do not interfere," she repeated before I felt the cold tingling sensation leave my fist but this time, it slammed into my chest, sending my flying backwards through the hole Eric had made.
I bounced off the ground twice before skidding to a stop but I flipped up to my feet only to see the second female vampire holding two of those steel coffins while a third one hovered above Edythe, who continued her despondent stare.
"Catch sweet thang!" the female shouted as she launched the two towards me.
I punched two of those steel water coffins that was thrown at me back to back before catching the last one Edythe had thrown. I lifted up the coffin to throw it but another one slammed into my stomach, which sent me flying backwards, making me drop the coffin.
I slammed my feet into the ground and gripped the coffin and managed to force it off of me and spun around to throw it at the two vampire's where the larger, muscular vampire let out a yell and punched the coffin so hard, it was split in half.
"Those things really hurt," I muttered angrily as I watched Edythe float from the impromptu doorway Eric's body created and gracefully landed on the ground beside the larger female, her cold and detached eyes staring at me once more.
"I told you to not to interfere," Edythe said calmly as she lifted up her hand, causing the walls around me to shake violently before the bricks walls were ripped from the foundation of the building.
The bricks then separated and began to swirl around me violently, making some short of orb around my body.
"Now I will force you to stay out of it," she said before she closed her fist, which caused all of the bricks to slam into my body, each one sticking to me until I was trapped in in a brick prison from the neck down.
"Damn you," I hissed out angrily as I struggled against my binding.
Edythe pulled her fist closer to her, which caused the brick prison, and by extension, me, to her until she stared into my eyes. The other vampire leaned close until her lips were against my right ear and whispered "Time to fly beautiful," then added a kiss to my cheek.
"W-What?" I stammered before she placed a kiss on my cheek and motioned to Edythe, who then thrusted her arm forward, which sent the brick prison and myself high into the air.
"Fuck you!" I screamed in fury as the Nightstalker's base, along with Edythe and the other vampire, became smaller and smaller until I was miles above the city, allowing me to see the beautiful glittering lights above.
It would have been beautiful if I didn't have this unending rage!
I clenched my teeth and struggled as hard as I could until I managed to bust my arms free and began to break away the orb but then I began to plummet to the ground…Except it wasn't the ground.
It was water…A lot of water.
Oh fuck…Oh fuck! I know where am I falling!
She launched my ass to Niagara falls? Oh fuck, fuck, fuck!

After getting my ass kicked through two apartment buildings and a Tim Hortons, I staggered backwards and fell to one knee, venom pouring from my left cheek and the top of my head.
He's so fast and he hits so hard, I can't even offer a decent amount of defense, let alone any offense.
It felt like I was fighting that vampire in England all over again except he wasn't shouting "ZA WARUDO" all over the place.
There has to be a way to beat him.
But this begged the question. Was Carlisle himself this powerful? Was he able to move faster than a Vampire's eyes can catch?
"Finished already?" Veiss voice said before I felt two blows land on my face, which sent me soaring to the left and crashing through another wall.
I slammed my hand to the ground to stop my flight but then a burst of pain hit my chest, which caused me to fly faster through another wall where I then smacked into a railing which sent me plunging down a long stretch of stairwells before crashing to the ground.
I could feel venom trickling down the various cracks on my body where he had struck and groaned in pain but I still rose to my feet with help of the wall to my right but right as I did, a hard blow slammed into my chest, which sent me off the second floor of the ring and straight down into the large fountain below.
I rose up from the water and groaned in agony.
This really hurts…
"Ah God of War. Your reputation is truly overestimated," Veiss smooth voice said, which prompted me to look up to the second floor to look at him. The bastard had the cockiest smirk on his face that.
Emmett would be so jealous of it
Ugh.
It was then I had an idea. I was in water. If he was truly moving that fast, he would leave some sort of evidence like splashing water or some sort of sound or something!
Because he has to have a weakness.
Everyone does.
So with all the strength I could muster, I rose to my feet and shouted "Why don't you come down here and sat that to my face…Carlisle?!"
A dark expression crossed Veiss' face at that name and leapt into the air but this time, I heard something. The image of his body was still in the air but there was a splash coming from my left. I turned around and lifted up an arm and blocked the punch aimed at my face.
I couldn't help but smirk at the disbelief and then the realization on his face at what had just occurred. "Gotcha…" I said ominously with a toothy grin before I let out a roar bashed my head against his hard, which caused him to stumble backwards only to tug on his hand sharply and deliver another head-butt, which sent him down to one knee.
I lifted up my foot and began to kicked down at his face relentlessly, all of the anger that had built up during my own beat down fueling my strength.
"Not talking all that shit now are you?!" I roared as I pulled him up from the water and immediately tried to grab his head but he delivered a hard blow to my chest by way of dropkick, which sent us both falling backwards into the water below.
I rolled backwards onto my feet and hearing the water splash behind me, I turned around and with my arm cocked and punched him straight in the stomach as hard as I could, which sent this mockery flying backwards through the steel shutters of a sport's store.
A few moments later, Veiss stepped out from the gaping hole his body had made with a chuckle but this chuckle only put me on edge. It was too…composed, considering I had just repeatedly stomped his ass.
"Looks like I counted you out far too soon God of War," Veiss said with a grin on his face. "Unfortunately, it looks like our little sparring match is finished."
"What?" I asked but then I felt my body seize up against my control, like there were invisible chains wrapped around all of my limbs, which caused me to fall to the water hard.
"Ah, just in time," Veiss said with a welcoming tone, his eyes pointed behind me.
With all the force I had, I glanced behind me to see Edythe and that other vampire on the top row, Edythe's hand opened right hand pointed out at me. "Telekinetic abilities," Veiss said as he walked towards me, his hands sliding into his pockets, a smirk on his face.
"She's just one of many of my gifted daughters," Veiss said as I struggled. He then reached forward and petted my head, which had me growl furiously, before he looked back to his the other vampire and said "Eleanor, please grab him."
"Got it daddy-o," the larger vampire, Eleanor, said as she hopped down and slammed into the fountain and walked towards me before picking me up from the water and tossing me on her right shoulder.
"Mission complete. Let's return home," Veiss said before he looked to me and said "Relax God of War. Lord Frost is a very kind lord. You will love him."
"Bite me," I responded angrily.
"That can be arranged later sweet thing," Eleanor said with a cocky tone before she said
"However, I think that will have to wait until you wake back up," Veiss said before he looked to Edythe, who nodded at him.
"Wake back up?" I asked before a piercing pain shot through my head…
And then it all went black.
