Leah: That was a hell of last chapter eh?
Jasper: I agree. I'm so glad the author managed to find use for our "Life after Death" Counterparts. This is enjoyable.
Bella: Easy for you guys to say! This is harsh on not only my heart but the heart of our readers! I hope things get easier for us soon!
Leah: Who knows…Let's start the show!
Jasper: Showtime

Chapter Twenty-Nine
Forks, Washington – Cullen Residence
Alice Cullen
"You're loud…" Leah's voice said weakly.
"Oh my god…Leah? You can hear me?" I asked her with a stunned feeling in my gut.
Can she hear me like this?
….
No. So I actively need to think at her to respond. Okay, at least that is something…But fuck.
"Yeah…Too loud…Wait…How can I hear you?" Leah asked me.
I stood up and began to pace, biting right nails with wide eyes.
No, no, no, no, no, no! We can't be mates. This is unheard of!
"This can't be real…I can't be hearing you right now," I thought to her as I continued to pace.
"Whoa…I just had a fucking house thrown at me so anything is fucking possible for me at this point," Leah responded dryly.
I paused.
"Um… what?" I asked.
"A fucking two story house…Those Cullens are tough as fuck!" Leah exclaimed.
Now I'm really confused.
"Cullens…What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Okay…So those vamps that attacked and kidnapped Jasper. They are Cullens apparently," Leah explained.
That can't be possible! We're the only Cullens!
"No way is that what they said. They're Cullens?" I asked her.
"That's what I thought too but she said her name was "Edythe Cullen" And she wasn't affiliated with you guys, who she called inferior," Leah replied.
"Inferior? Fuck her," I said instantly, which made Leah laugh softly.
"…You sound weird when you swear, you know that right?"Leah asked.
"So I've been told…Just…Rest okay?" I implored. She sounded so weak and exhausted that I just wanted her to take it easy until help arrived.
"Yeah, yeah…" Leah murmured. "Still…How can I hear you like this?" Leah asked me.
I paused.
"I don't know," I lied. "But we'll figure it out together, okay?"
I didn't get a response at first but after a few seconds of waiting, I finally heard a faint "Yeah…" before it went completely quiet.
She must have finally passed out.
"Stay safe…For me…" I thought to her before letting out a deep sigh.
"Leah is my mate…" I said out loud.
"Leah huh?" Esme's voice said from behind, which caused me to turn around with a startled look.
And she had that smirk on her face.
Oh boy…

Embry Call
"It's been too long since we heard from any of them," Seth told me as he paced in concern. The sun was now rising over the horizon. It had been four hours since Leah and Peter had left in a hurry and we've heard nothing back from neither of them.
We tried contacting Charlotte and Jasper but neither answered. Something was very wrong here. "We should go out and look for them," I suggested to Seth, who was obviously worried for his sister.
Just then, Derek came down the stairs and said "Dude switch on the TV."
"What do you mean Derek?" I asked curiously.
"Any channel. Trust me," Derek said.
Seth grabbed the remote and switched it on and to our surprise, each channel showed an image of downtown. Cars were overturned, there were tons of ripped up cement and was that a fucking house uprooted from the ground and in another building?!
"What the fuck," Seth muttered.
"So I'm going to guess there was another huge battle or something," Derek said as he walked to my side. "Because a lot of places downtown are super fucked up."
Just then, there was a knock on the door. Derek hobbled to it and opened it to reveal Jessamine, with an unconscious and naked Leah in her arms. Behind her, a soaking wet Peter and Charlotte stood behind her, both of them looking haggard.
"Good morning Embry," Jessamine said with a sheepish smile in my direction.
"Hey," I replied with a grin.
"Oi! Stop making eyes at each other and get inside already," Derek said.
The three walked inside while Jessamine handed Leah's unconscious body to me, where I walked to the couch and laid her down. A few minutes later, Casey walked down the stairs and blinked at the sight of us.
"Wow, I totally forgot this was my life now," Casey noted, which made Derek snort.
"Extra Spacey this morning I see," Derek said jokingly but Casey merely blushed and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, which made Derek tilt his head in confusion.
I then noticed Peter smirk before he covered his mouth.
Okay…
"Why is Leah unconscious…and naked?" Casey asked.
"Have you seen the news?" Derek asked.
"Not at all," Casey replied.
"Well shit went down. The news is saying it could be a possible terrorist attack but well," Derek drifted off. "Yeah…Things are fucked."
"Where is Jasper?" Seth asked curiously.
"That's the really fucked part," Peter said. "He's gone…They succeeded in taking him. The base you went to earlier Derek with Jasper is destroyed and many of them dead…It's looking pretty bleak right now."
"Oh fuck!" Derek said. "They were so nice too…"
"Eric and Felicia are at the hotel in our room recovering but with Jasper gone, what do we do now?" Jessamine questioned.
"Jessamine, Embry, Derek, Casey, can you three do me a favor?" Peter asked.
"Sure," they both said in unison while Jessamine and I nodded
"There are some guests that are coming to help us today. Can you pick them up from the airport? Their names are Carlisle, Emmett and Rosalie Cullen…Also there will be a fourth one named Bella Swan that will come just a few minutes after them. It is imperative that she gets picked up and protected at all costs and that she is not forced back on the plane. She's the only way we can find Jasper," Peter said.
"Got it," Derek said with a salute before he looked to me and said "We should head out now then. The airport is pretty far from here."
I nodded in agreement and together, the four of us walked out of the house and towards the car but both Jessamine and I stopped.
"You smell it as well?" I asked Jessamine, who nodded.
"It's very faint despite being close…It's hard to describe…" Jessamine said with a frown on her face.
Derek and Casey paused and turned around as well, with Derek asking us "What's up?"
"Something is not right but it's hard to describe," I said with a narrowed eyes as I looked around. "Come on. The faster we get there, the faster we can get back."
The three of them nodded and we got into the car and with Derek behind the wheel, we drove off but I couldn't help but wonder over Peter's words.
How did Bella Swan figure into all of this and how could she find Jasper?
Canada – Unknown Location
Edythe Cullen
After driving down an alleyway, Father pressed a button on the car. A few moments passed and the brick wall slide down into a compartment, revealing a long tunnel that we began to drive through.
While Eleanor was jamming out to music, I decided to focus on keeping the God of War unconscious. I used up so much energy back there in stopping Leah Clearwater that I had nearly lost control, no doubt waking him up and ruining our plans.
But a part of me wished that would come true…
No, no thinking of that now…It is far too late for that now…
After what felt like hours, we drove out of the tunnel and there, Five thick, round towers piercing the sky was the first thing that caught my eyes letting me know we had finally arrived at Lord Frost's castle.
The towers are connected by fortified, chunky walls made of silver stone. There are ornate windows scattered here and there across the walls in a seemingly random pattern, along with small holes for archers and artillery.
A sizable gate with enormous metal doors, a draw bridge and large crenelations guards the last stronghold along the rough shoreline. Statues of gargoyles were lined up outside of the castle gates, serving as reminders of the past. This castle has clearly been around for at least a thousand years before us and will be here long after us.
"Finally home," Father said as drove over the draw bridge and into the main courtyard of our castle. We parked the car with the others and stepped out. Eleanor went to the trunk and retrieved the unconscious God of War and hoisted him over her left shoulder.
"You two take him downstairs to the lab and put him in a crystal coffin then rest up," Father ordered before he turned and walked off, no doubt going to tell our lord that we succeeded in our mission.
"Man, would it kill father to tell us he's proud of us that we once again saved a mission?" Eleanor muttered as we turned and walked towards the second entryway that would lead downstairs to the lab.
"Father will never tell us that Eleanor, you know this but I'm sure he will one day," I responded as I pressed a button and waited for the elevator to come up.
"You think Royal is in the lab today?" Eleanor questioned.
"Either that or he's snuggled up with Archie," I responded.
The elevator came up and we stepped inside and stood in silence as it took us to the basement of the castle, where the lab was kept and the minute we opened the door, both of us were greeted with the sight of our six-foot-five, pale blond spiky haired brother sitting in a chair, his lips locked with our much shorter freckled face, short black haired brother and his mate.
"Archie, please dislodge your lips from Royal's. We need him," I said loudly, which caused the two to break away.
"Oh, you guys are back," Archie's pleasantly high-pitched voice said with a beaming smile while beneath him, Royal frowned.
"Joy," Royal said dryly as he looked at Eleanor and I.
"We interrupting something?" Eleanor teased with a smirk.
"Lucky for you guys, we were just getting started," Archie as he slid from Royal's lap then said "And as I knew, you guys would succeed. Wonderful job."
"Thanks," I replied as I lifted my hand to float the God of War's unconscious body towards Royal, who opened his arms for me to land the body in them. "Crystal Coffin," I said.
"Wow, royal treatment for a god like him," Royal joked as he carried the God of War's body towards a glass coffin where he placed him in the coffin and closed it where pale blue liquid began to fill the coffin until he was floating in it.
"I can't believe you guys were able to capture him," Royal said as he crossed his arms with narrowed eyes. "Someone with a damn near mythical legacy like his? It seems impossible."
"If we hadn't gotten to Father, Father may have lost his battle with him so his skill is truly earned," I replied.
"He nearly defeated Father huh?" Royal asked before he glanced back at Jasper's floating form and smirked. "Should have finished the job."
"Hate for Father aside," Eleanor said. "Where is Earnest and Carin?"
"Meditating with Beau," Archie said. "Where is dear old Father anyways?"
"Probably kissing the ass of Lord Frost, where else?" Royal sneered.
"Roy," Archie said with a warning tone.
"He's surprisingly right," Eleanor said with a shrug. "Went to Frost immediately."
"Well now that we got him here, we should gather them," I said as I looked at Jasper's unconscious form. "I think it's time we start planning."
The others nodded and Eleanor immediately left to fetch the last three members of our group.
Let us hope he will want to listen to what we will have to say when he awakens.
Rain: And that is the end of this chapter. A pretty small one and I apologize for that. I hit a huge writer's block for this fic but I finally realized where I wanted to take it. The next chapter will involve our first sight of Canada's new guests as well as the first sight of our one of our main villains known as Victoria so until then!
Jasper: Adios Amigos!
