Before I start I have to clarify a couple of things and changes, in this timeline Jiraya sent Naruto to train long before he went to face Nagato, so he did not tell him about who his parents were. I also have to warn that for the moment Itachi is alive (If I have plans for him) I also have to say that the Pain saga will be very different from what happened at Canon, I hope you like it and don't forget to comment.

Naruto Uzumaki

It had been 3 days since Naruto received a visit from the Sage of the Six Paths. Three days since he discovered harsh truths, he was Nauto Uzumaki son of the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. From that moment his life turned upside down, if that was enough he learned that he was the reincarnation of the son of the Sage of the six paths Ashura Ootkusuki, ancestor and founder of his clan the Uzumaki Clan and his blood relatives the Senju clan.

Naruto did not know what to think of all this, all his life he had wanted to know who his parents were and he found out in the worst possible way. He felt betrayed somehow, Jiraya Sensei knew it, Kakashi Sensei knew it, the third Hokage knew it. Everyone knew it, he couldn't help but be bitter at the Leaf Village, his entire childhood despised for nothing more than being an orphan when he was the son the greatest hero in the history of the village.

If only they had told me earlier, I wouldn't feel so betrayed.

His teacher shortly before leaving had promised to tell him about his parents.

Naruto was in his mental space, ready to have a chat with the Fox. He had a lot of questions and wanted answers.

The Fox laughter echoed all over the place "Boy, you don't know anything, I never wanted to be locked up inside you, I just didn't want to be locked up again, not when I got my freedom thanks to that damn guy."

Naruto narrowed his eyes "What do you mean?"

Naruto was momentarily stunned.

He saw how on the day of his birth a mysterious man wearing a mask burst into the birthing bed attacking his mother and kidnapping him. He saw how shortly after they extracted the Fox from his mother, he saw how the masked man attacked the village with the Kyubi at his command.

He saw how his father faced the masked man. He saw how the Fox once freed from mind control was chained by his mother. In an act of last desperation the Fox attempted to kill him, only to kill his parents on the spot who died defending him.

When he finished Naruto was crying uncontrollably. It was all too much for him, it was one thing for them to tell you things, but see for yourself ... He no longer knew what to think, he no longer knew who to blame for his suffering now.

"And that's what happened Naruto" said the Fox cutting the connection.

Naruto gasped, the Shock was too much for him "I have to go" Naruto cut the mental link.

Naruto spent the next few days meditating, he no longer knew what to think. He should hate Fox for what he did, he killed his parents! He wanted to kill him !, but he also knew that he was controlled by a masked man who had the sharingan. Everything that happened to him was his fault, if he was an orphan and had no parents it was that man's fault. It is true that fox wanted to kill him, but could he blame me? The Fox was locked up all his life, it was obvious that he did not want to be locked up in the body of a child.

Now that he understood what happened he didn't have the heart to hate the Fox. He spent the next several days meditating before returning to his mental plane.

"You know Fox, I should hate you for everything that happened, but you know I don't have the heart to do it" the blonde sat down "I've been reflecting and thinking things over, and I don't blame you for what happened" this caught the attention of the Fox. Fox's eyes softened "I don't hate you either Naruto, I've seen the life you've had since you were born, I can't help but feel sorry for you, but I don't regret trying to take my freedom."

The blonde sighed "I think this talk is over for today."

Naruto got a lump in his throat he finally knew something about his clan and now he learns that the original Village and the clan were exterminated. "The Senjus and the Uzumakis were blood relatives, so that union carried over to both villages."

Naruto was thinking about his words, the idea was really attractive, reuniting the surviving Uzumakis and rebuilding the village of his mother and ancestors and becoming their Kage was not a bad idea.

"It's not a bad idea you wouldn't be Hokage but fulfill your dream of being Kage and being the head of the village" Kurama added.

Naruto looked at the ground thinking about what he had just said, he knew he wanted to be Hokage, but the idea of rebuilding his clan and his village was not a bad idea. But if he did that, he would be destroying all his dreams and motivations and, most importantly, the village where he was born. Naruto was in conflict over the idea, on the one hand he would have to leave the village and look for his blood family, on the other hand he would have to stay in Konoha and fulfill his dreams. He also doubted that there were more survivors from the clan and the village, but the thought and hopes that there were more like him out there and that they would be alone and unprotected made his heart clench.

"Think about it Naruto, because I'm not going to lie to you, I know the old man asked me to help you but I refuse to help and defend the same people who hated and ridiculed me" added the Fox.

"I need to think" said this, he closed the mental channel.

Naruto spent the next four days debating what he should do. After much thought, I finally had the answer.

"It seems you have an answer" said the Fox lying down from his cage.

"Yes I have" he paused before continuing "My dream of being a Hokage will not abandon it, at least for now, but I want to go to Uzushiogakure, I want to see the ruins, I want to know more about my mother's Clan, I want to see if There are other survivors of my clan, and if I help them as much as I can "Naruto replied.

The Fox looked intently at Naruto for a few seconds before a half smile formed on his face "Very good Naruto, I hope you find the answers on your journey."

The next day he met the Sage toad telling him about his departure, he had learned and controlled the Senjutsu chakra and it was no longer needed, the Sage Toad asked him not to leave the place until Jiraya arrived, but Naruto refused, saying that this it was something he had to do alone and he also asked him not to contact him and say where he was unless strictly necessary.

And so once he left the mountain of toads, Naruto said goodbye with a smile, heading for a new adventure.
