The Letter
Dear Mr. Potter,
We are contacting you regarding the Wills of one Mr. Sirius Black and couple Mr. and Mrs. James and Lillian Potter. We regret not informing you about your parents will seeing as it was there wish that at their time of death, your guardian at that time will decide when you are ready to view the will. Seeing as your parents were killed while you were still an infant and the selected guardian was imprisoned we were not allowed to let you view the will. But, at the death of Mr. Black your are legally allowed to view both wills. Both readings will be held on the second of July and upon your arrival. As you might think there will be others that will need to hear the will but they will find out what the contents of the wills are at a later point.
Now, on a less political note, I am sorry if I have brought up any unwanted memories, but I do have an obligation. I knew your parents, they were very kind and understanding people, and I know that they would not want you to linger to long on anyone's death. Again, I am sorry for any discomfort that has come from this letter.
