'Nothing Goes With Peanut Butter Quite Like Unrequited Love'

Yuki rummaged through the cupboards in the kitchen, looking for something to snack on. Deciding on a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich, he opened the bottom cabinet, only to see the peanut butter missing. And then a sigh rang from the living room. He glanced over, seeing Kagura there, watching Kyo.
"Kagura, aren't you going to greet Kyo?" Yuki asked.
She shrugged, taking another spoonful of peanut-butter and nibbling at it.
"Kagura, what are you doing?"
"Eating peanut-butter."
"...Why?"
"Haven't you heard, Yuki?" Kagura asked. Her voice was softer... and sadder... than usual. Yuki sat down next to her but she still continued to watch whatever was outside.
"Heard what?"
"Nothing goes with peanut-butter quite like unrequited loved..." She sighed. And Yuki noticed finally, what seemed to be unfolding in the yard. There was Tohru, seemingly hanging up the wash to dry. And there was Kyo. And they were both talking, and laughing, and looking at each other the way a pair on their first date would. "Oh..." Was all he could say.
There was a moment of silence between the two.
Yuki dipped his finger into the tub of peanut-butter Kagura had in front of her. Licking the peanut-butter off his finger he smiled. "You know, Kagura, you're right..."
He kissed her.
"...Nothing goes with peanut-butter quite like unrequited love..."
