"It has been the longest week ever," Jason groaned as he collapsed onto the couch. His body ached all over. Another groan left him a moment later as he rubbed his eyes.

"Shut up," Leo muttered as he jumped on the couch next to Jason. He sniffled, and his voice was still scratchy. "You weren't the one with the flu. That has made this the worst four days of my life. How do you vomit up water?"

"You didn't have a double shift," Jason countered as he lifted his head to look at Leo. "Are you still sick? Get away from me if you are."

"Or, I could just sneeze on you," Leo threatened. Jason rolled his eyes. "I heard that it was you, Piper, and Reyna triple teaming it. How did that work out? Were the ladies all over you?"

"I was stuck in the kitchen for half of the day," Jason began. A finger suddenly appeared in front of his eyes. Beyond that finger was the deranged face of Leo. He moved his finger to poke it into Jason's chest.

"That kitchen is my baby. If you hurt her in any way, I will break you in half. I will tear your dick off and put it on your head like-"

"Leo, do not finish that sentence," Jason ordered. "I did not hurt your baby. You have started more fires in her than I have, or is that just the STDs?"

Leo laughed loudly and threw his head back, "Hell yeah, Jason! Get that stick out of your ass!"

Jason chuckled. He laid his head back and sighed. Leo laid on the opposite side of the couch, and their feet touched. Jason really didn't mind. Until Leo started to rub his foot up and down his leg, "You have to stop that."

"I'm just stretching," Leo defended. Jason rolled his eyes. Leo looked at him and grinned. "How is it going with Piper? I mean, I already know. She told me everything already. I just want to hear your side."

"We had an argument about our relationship at the beginning of the week," Jason explained. "We've been so busy since then that we haven't had time to talk. I think Piper is mad at me."

"You are such a dumbass," Leo balked as he threw his hands up in the air. "Everyone can see that Piper is mad at you!"

"Really?" Jason questioned.

"Yeah," Leo confirmed. "That's why I called you a dumbass. Alright, tell Papa Leo what you did."

"Piper said that we are boyfriend and girlfriend in everything but name. We go out on dates, but I think that is just hanging out. Getting dinner with her is just two friends going out," Jason began. "Then, she said that she has a crush on me. What do I do?"

"Stop thinking with your dick," Leo suggested. Jason looked at him and frowned.

"I'm not," Jason declined. He waved his hand.

"You are," Leo replied as he went from rubbing Jason's leg to hitting it with his foot. "If Piper has a crush on you, that means she wants to have a relationship. Not just sex. You get that, right?"

"I'm just not sure if I want a relationship," Jason began. "For a lot of reasons. She deserves so much better than me, and I know her dad doesn't want her to date a werewolf. The media would try to eat her alive. Not to mention that any werewolf hunting groups might try to hurt her."

"Human hating groups might try to hunt her," Leo countered, but he spoke under his breath.

"Not helping," Jason said as he gave Leo an unappreciative look. Leo just shrugged. "You know that there are groups who want to destroy and hurt werewolves in any way that they can. I don't want Piper to be hurt because of me."

"Okay, I got to level with you," Leo began as he sat up and made eye contact with Jason. "I totally get that sentiment. I too would like to protect my lover, but you already caused Piper to be hurt. I'm not blaming you, but-"

"You just blamed me."

"But. But. But," Leo cut himself back in as he held his hands up. "I do not blame you. By your own logic, you blame yourself. Because you think a werewolf hunting group will hurt Piper because she is dating you. Lycaon already attacked her because she happened to just be standing next to you. If she hasn't run away because of that, I think you're in the clear."

"I guess," Jason muttered as he stared at the ceiling. "It's not just that. I don't know if I actually want to date Piper. She's a great friend, but I'm not sure if I want to go any further."

"And, that is okay," Leo agreed as he laid back on the couch. "But, you have to tell Piper that. It's not fair to keep dragging her along with the thought that you too might actually become a couple. You should either agree to go out with her or just stop fucking her. It's simple."

"Piper offered to have sex with me in the first place," Jason began. He threw his head to the side as Leo nearly kicked him. "What the hell!?"

"I was trying to thump you in the head. Did I miss?" Leo asked.

"Yeah. You almost hit my nose," Jason complained. Leo shrugged. "Why were you trying to hit me?"

"Because you're missing the entire point, Jason. Piper may have offered to have sex with you to help you from becoming a ravenous beast, but she obviously fell for you along the way. Which means she has feelings for you and really likes you. Do you have feelings for her?"

"Nothing that goes beyond being a friend," Jason answered almost instantly. He had been thinking about it all week. Jason really did enjoy having Piper as a friend, but he just didn't want a long term relationship. There were so many expectations that would come from being Piper's boyfriend, and he wasn't sure he wanted that kind of spotlight on him.

"Well, that clears that up," Leo stated as he sat up. "A little confusing, though. You two hang out all the time. I kind of assumed you two were secretly dating."

"We're not," Jason confirmed. "If we did, her father would be all over me. I would have to go to his premieres and all this other media stuff."

"You don't have to keep making excuses," Leo said as he stretched out on the couch, almost kicking Jason again. Hopefully by accident this time. "I get it."

"I'm being honest. I don't do good in front of the press, and being Piper's boyfriend means I have to attend her father's premieres with her," Jason ranted.

"Jason, you do understand that anything you do at a premiere with Piper will not be as embarrassing as the few times I went with her. You also don't have to go to all of them. News flash: Piper hates them too."

Jason sighed and laid his head back, "Should I try dating Piper?"

"Do you want to?" Leo asked.

"I don't know," Jason admitted. "Thinking about it, I'm not sure if I want a long term relationship. The sex is nice, but I'm not sure how much more I want. I keep thinking I settled on a decision, but when I talk about it, I change my mind. What do I do?"

"Stop being indecisive," Leo suggested. Jason groaned. "Why not just try a date? You can figure out if you like going out with her or not, and if you need a third person there to tell you if it goes well or not, my services are yours."

Jason chuckled and sighed, "Alright. Fine. I'll try a date."

Jason reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He scrolled to Piper's name and called her. As he waited for Piper to answer, he thought about what to say. His mind kept bouncing back and forth, and he wasn't sure if he wanted to date Piper. At the same time, he wouldn't know unless he actually dated her. It was worth the shot.

"Hello?" Piper answered after a moment. Jason smiled slightly.

"Hey, Piper. I just wanted to apologize for what happened earlier this week. I shouldn't have acted like I did," Jason said softly. He took a deep breath. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or lead you on. I also wanted to try dating. To give it a shot. I could take you to dinner if you want."

Piper was quiet for a few moments. She finally spoke, and Jason could hear the smile through her voice, "I would love that, Jason."

"Cool," Jason said, and a small smile came to his face. "You're off tomorrow, right? Dinner at five? I'll pay."

"That sounds amazing, Jason," Piper answered. "I have to go, though. My dad will be here soon, and I think I'll have him for five minutes."

"You have fun. Also, don't let Leo worm his way into our date. He was- ow- talking about being a third wheel. Stop kicking me," Jason complained as he grabbed Leo's foot. "I'll tickle you."

"Please do, daddy," Leo teased with a sickening grin. Jason immediately let go of his foot, and Leo cackled.

"Everything okay over there?" Piper asked.

"Yeah. I just need to burn my hand off," Jason replied. "I'll text you the details."

"I'll be waiting. See you, boyfriend," Piper teased.

"I'll see you around, girlfriend," Jason returned. The words felt odd on his lips, and he mouthed the word a few more times. It was weird, but he thought that he might grow to like it. The date would hopefully help him figure it out. For now, he would have to burn his hand off and probably stab his ears out.

"Do you think Piper will call you daddy after your date?"

"I'm leaving."

"Or, does she already do that in bed?"

"Bye, Leo."

"Bring me food," Leo called as Jason stood from the couch and walked towards the front door. Jason grabbed the handle and looked back. He sighed.

"From where."

"...Taco Bell?"

"Sure. You buying?"

"If you're driving."

"Let's go."

"Fuck yeah!"
