Silver entered the cove holding up a shield, he tosses a fish out onto the ground but there was no sign of Cyzer. He steps forward but his shield gets stuck between two rocks, and he is unable to get it lose. He sighs and leaves the shield, picks up the fish and slowly approaches the pond looking around. He finally saw Cyzer on a rock watching him, it came down and approached him. Silver stood his ground and held out the fish nervously, Cyzer slowly approached and examined the fish before narrowing its eyes angrily. Silver looked down at realised he was looking at the knife he had. Silver reached for it, but Cyzer glowed brighter. Silver slowly took the knife and dropped it on the ground. He then lifts the knife with his foot and throws it into the pond. Cyzer calms down and turned black which relived Silver "Good to know you're not always danger-" it opened its mouth and snatched the fish out of his hands. Silver stepped back taken aback. Cyzer licks his lips and then approaches Silver making him back up against a rock "Uh… No, no. I don't have any more!". Cyzer suddenly throws up the head of the fish he ate onto Silver's knees to his disgust. Cyzer backs away and sits on the ground staring at Silver. Silver doesn't understand, Cyzer glances down at the fish. Silver realises and frowns. He slowly takes a bite of the raw fish "Mmm!" he says unconvincingly. He nods with a fake smile but Cyzer gestures for him to swallow. Silver sighs and swallows the fish. He shudders and grins at Cyzer who mimics him. Silver's smile slowly becomes real, and he reaches out to Cyzer. He suddenly growls turning back to cyan before flying away. It lands and begins to sleep before noticing Silver sitting next to him. He smiles and waves at Cyzer who turns back to black and uses its tail to cover its face. Silver gets closer and Cyzer glares at him.
Later Cyzer was sleeping on a tree branch, it woke and saw Silver sitting on a rock doing something with a stick. Cyzer approached and saw that Silver was drawing an image of Cyzer in the dirt. He turns back to cyan and begins moving around the ground leaving burning interconnecting lines around Silver. Cyzer turned back to normal and smiled proudly. Silver got to his feet and saw that Cyzer drew Silver's face. Silver steps forward stepping on one of the lines, but Cyzer turns back to Cyan. Silver clenches and lifts his foot calming Cyzer. Silver steps over the line. He slowly makes his way over the drawing without damaging it until he finds himself face to face with Cyzer. Silver gulps and slowly raises his hand to the wisp. It grimaces, Silver looks away and holds out his hand. Cyzer closes his eyes and leans forward resting his head in Silver's hand. Silver slowly turns to gaze at Cyzer amazed. Cyzer leans back and glances at Silver before quickly leaving.
At night Omega sat the group around a fire "I eviscerated ten of the wisps before they swarmed me. Tearing apart everything but my head which is when an Onyx scout party found me. Despite me telling them otherwise they believed for some reason that I needed help". Shard looked angry as he ate meat from a stick "I'll avenge your beautiful body. I'll take down any wisp I see with my face". Omega nodded "Go for the arms and legs first. They can't control their energy efficiently without them. A powerless wisp is a dead wisp". Silver seemed interested by this. Omega stood up "I must recharge. You should all go to your pathetic nightly sleeping. Tomorrow we will move up a level until we reach the Quake. But sadly, only one of you will be allowed to kill it". Everyone looked excited by this. Jet started bragging to the others as Blaze noticed Silver was gone.
Silver was in the workshop and begins designing a small device. He opened a cupboard revealing vials of multicoloured liquids. He took out a cyan one and poured it into the centre of the device powering it up. The light shined in his eyes as he gazed at it.
The next morning Silver entered the cove carrying a basket over his back "Hey, Cyzer. I brought you breakfast. I hope you're hungry". He dropped the basket revealing a pile of fish "Ok, that's disgusting". Cyzer sniffed the pile but then turned Cyan, he started snarling. Silver looks curious and looks through the pile taking out an eel. Cyzer glowed bright worrying Silver "No, no, no, no! It's ok" he threw the eel away "Yeah, I don't really like eel much, either". Cyzer calms down and begins eating from the pile "That's it. Just stick to the good stuff". Silver kneeled down and placed the device on the ground. He pressed a button, the device opened and created a sphere of cyan energy which covered him and Cyzer who looked up and closed his eyes. Silver watched him hoping he might get enough energy to escape back to the wisp nest. However, Silver then felt his right foot getting warm. He looked down, the shield generator in his shoes was sparking, the energy was overloading it. His shield suddenly deactivated. Silver froze and slowly turned to look at Cyzer who was gazing at him. It dashed forward and went through Silver's chest. Silver gasped when his body glowed Cyan, his body started moving on its own accord and he flew up "Whoa! Whooaa! No, no, no, no!". Silver was flying aimlessly, he held out his hands and he suddenly felt balanced "Ha, I'm flying! Haha!". He flew back down, objects around him glowed cyan and hovered upwards but suddenly there was a burst of energy from his body throwing him off course. They crashed into the pond and Cyzer separated from him.
