Ahem: a collection of stories from my older sister's birthday that I am now posting individually.
Rules: I shall put my music library on shuffle and pair her top 10 ships with the first 10 songs. Each ship gets a story related to the song with decreasing times: ship #1 gets 10 min., ship #2 gets 9 min., ship #3 gets 8 min., etc. So ship #10 is a hot mess 1 min. panic attack.
You don't HAVE to listen to the song first...but you might want to. And author's notes are bolded.
4. KataraxAang (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift - 7 min. timer
OH LOOK I SHIP THIS ONE TOO! This was actually super fun to write because whenever I write Avatar, it's always Tokka, so writing Kataang was a whole new experience.
Guru Pathik sat on the ground, legs crossed, and a very potent batch of onion-banana juice between his lips. "So, what do you say is your problem again?"
"I don't know!" yelled Aang peevishly. "The mean girl dragged me down here screaming something about chakras and now I'm here." He crossed his arms and sighed.
"Hey, I didn't scream!" Katara screamed.
Sokka snickered from somewhere in the background and butt in, "They've been like that for a week. I think he's broken."
Katara took a deep breath before continuing. "Look I know that you told him to 'have no earthly attachments' or whatever, and he said no."
"Correct. He was too in love with that Katara girl."
"Yeah, I'm that Katara girl."
"Well, didn't that work out nicely for you? So, why are you here?"
"You see, he accidentally… opened the attachment chakra? I think it was in a dream. I don't know, he screamed in the night. But now he hates me!"
"Yeah, yeah I do, Sweetie," Aang said angrily.
Sokka laughed again from somewhere in the temple. "That's the best part. He's so brainwashed by the stupid chocolate thing, he still calls her Sweetie! Hah!"
"Not. Helping. Sokka. But, yeah, he's right. Please fix him."
"You want me to… reclog his chakra?"
"Yes, wonderful."
"Nooo!" Aang cried, pouting his lip like a whiny child, "We're neeever getting back together."
Guru Pathik sighed and shook his head. "It's not very proper for a monk to suggest, but just try kissing him for a bit. If I know anything about teenage boys, he'll be back to normal in no time."
Sokka booed wildly.
Katara blushed and then took Aang by the hand, dragging him off into the stone temple.
It only took four minutes to reclog his chakra...
They re-emerged after thirty.
Hmmmm... slurpy.
