"What are you pouting about now?" Clarisse questioned as she opened the fridge to put her lunch inside. Her eyes moved to the side. Piper was sitting on the table and held an inquisitive look. It also looked like she was overworking her brain. Clarisse closed the fridge and turned toward her.

Piper glanced at her for a moment and then looked down, "Two days ago, Reyna and Jason slept together."

"You jealous?" Clarisse guessed. She was slightly surprised that Reyna and Jason actually did it. Frankly, she didn't give a shit. The drama between the lovebirds was enough to give her a headache, and it was stupid of Reyna to get involved.

Piper didn't answer at first. Clarisse raised an eyebrow at the woman. Piper sighed, "Yeah. Okay. I am. I'm also mad that Jason would find someone else to sleep with so quickly, but Reyna also offered to sleep with me."

Clarisse nodded and remained silent. She knew that Reyna was a werewolf, and those bastards had a high sex drive. Sleeping with Jason must not have been enough to tucker her out for the month, which meant they really needed to hit the gym more.

But, was it safe for Reyna to have sex with Piper? Clarisse had lectured Jason plenty of times about sleeping with her because he might hurt the succubus. She would give Reyna the same lecture. Although, it could be a different scenario.

If Reyna already had sex, she would have less energy to get out when she had sex with Piper, and that was probably why she offered. Why would Reyna want to have sex with Piper, though? Piper clearly didn't like her.

"I want to make Jason feel jealous," Piper admitted. "And, I want to sleep with Reyna just to make him jealous. Not for my own needs."

"And, you're telling me this because..." Clarisse prompted.

"So you can call me stupid and talk me out of it," Piper muttered.

"Well, you are pretty stupid for that," Clarisse commented. Piper nodded her agreement. "Do you want to sleep with Reyna for your own needs or to make Jason jealous? One of those is a fair thing to do, and the other makes you an asshole."

"I know," Piper said softly. She rubbed her face. "I just want Jason to know how much he hurt me."

"Oh, I get it," Clarisse said. She crossed her arms and rubbed her chin as she did. "Oh, wait a minute. I have an idea."

"What is it?" Piper questioned.

"Just talk to him, dumbass," Clarisse retorted. Piper looked down. "You damn well know that the best way for Jason to understand how you feel is to actually tell him. He's too stupid to pick up on whatever signals you're trying to throw down."

"I guess you're right," Piper muttered. "And, I would be a hypocrite for sleeping with Reyna if I wasn't dating her."

"Maybe not," Clarisse replied. "You have feelings for Jason, but the only feeling you have for Reyna is hatred. Don't lie, I see how you treat her."

"I don't hate her," Piper argued. "I was mad about the whole Lycaon thing and then jealous when the two slept together. I don't hate Reyna. I just don't like her too much. But, she hasn't made the best impression either."

"By honoring Jason's wishes and not telling anyone?" Clarisse challenged. "I'm not happy about it either, but I know the only person to be mad at is Jason. He was the one who didn't want anyone else to know."

"Why are you always right?"

"Because I'm fucking me."

"This is why I don't go to you for advice."

"Because I'm always right?" Clarisse countered. Piper rolled her eyes. "Seriously, Piper. You need to stop and think. Sleeping with Reyna won't make you a hypocrite. You don't want to sleep with Jason without dating him because you have a crush on him. You don't have a crush on Reyna, so I don't see why you wouldn't want to."

"If you only sleep with her to make Jason jealous, that's just stupid," Clarisse continued. "Just take some time to think about it. And who knows? You might like it."

Piper studied her and nodded. She sighed and rubbed her face, "I'm so stupid. Trying to make Jason jealous. What was I thinking?"

"You weren't," Clarisse stated.

"Thanks," Piper said sarcastically.

"You're welcome," Clarisse returned. Piper rolled her eyes again. "Seriously, don't sleep with Reyna if you're just trying to fuck with Jason. It will get back to him and just upset him. Hurt him even. But it won't make him jealous. And, Reyna doesn't deserve to get used like that."

"You really like her, don't you?" Piper asked.

"I do," Clarisse confirmed. "I know she's had a hard life, but all she's trying to do now is turn it around for the best. She's not a bad person, no matter what you think. Her and I went out for drinks, and some assholes were talking shit about me. Reyna told them to fuck off and was ready to fight them."

"Reyna's been alone since she was ten," Clarisse muttered, shaking her head. She admired the shit out of Reyna for surviving that long on her own, and from the bits and pieces Clarisse had heard, Reyna didn't have an easy time. She would help the werewolf turn her life around completely and stay on the straight and narrow path.

"Ten?" Piper repeated. Her eyes grew distant. "Is that why she is so bad with people?"

Clarisse gave her a look. Piper held up her hands, "You know what I mean."

"Yeah. I think that's why she struggles with people. Also because she hasn't had a safe place to relax and unwind. Just do me a solid and give her a break," Clarisse asked. Piper nodded. "I need to get to work."

"Thank you," Piper said. Clarisse nodded to her. Piper nodded back, and Clarisse left the room. She stopped by her office and grabbed her jacket. After putting it on, a sigh left her. She knew exactly what time it was.

"I'm going to kick her ass," Clarisse swore as she looked down at her watch to confirm what she already knew. It was a minute past start time, and Reyna still wasn't there. Clarisse would get Frank to watch the door and then go to Reyna's place. She was going to drag the damned werewolf here.

Reyna was a great worker. She didn't complain, didn't take too long on breaks, and didn't ask the same question twice. Hell, she barely asked questions. Reyna would be perfect. If she could just fucking show up on time.

And, Clarisse tried to be patient. She understood the full moon could be difficult for werewolves and make them restless. Reyna also probably never had a job like this, but she needed to understand that she had to show up on time. Clarisse was going to march to her house and yell that into her.

Clarisse heard the door of her office open and looked up. A frown graced her as Thalia stepped into the room. She was holding her phone in her hand and sounded like she was out of breath. Thalia spoke, "Where is Reyna?"

"Not here yet. I was going to her place to kick her ass," Clarisse answered. She stared at the wide look in Thalia's eyes. "Why?"

"Okay," Thalia said as she let out a deep breath. "We got a call a couple of weeks ago from that group Exterminata. You know them, right? Well, this chick named Hylla introduced herself and said she was part of the group. She also said that a dangerous werewolf had moved to our city."

Clarisse nodded, but she didn't like where this was going. Thalia continued, "We've spent all this time trying to figure out who the fuck this Hylla chick is, right? Well, we just found out her full name from one of our contacts: Hylla Ramirez-Arellano. And, when we looked up her picture."

Thalia held her phone up. Clarisse's heart clenched as she studied the picture of Hylla. The woman had black eyes, long black hair hanging loosely around her shoulders, and regal features. But most importantly, she looked like an older version of Reyna.

"You don't think," Thalia began.

"I have to go to Reyna's place," Clarisse said as she looked at Thalia. "Now."
