"Jason, you can't just not tell us everything that happened," Piper protested as she leaned on the bar counter. Jason was grabbing the drinks that she had made for a customer, but Piper wasn't just going to let him walk away. She would deliver the drinks herself if she had to.

Annabeth was standing next to Piper and oddly had her mouth shut. Normally, she would tell them that they needed to respect Reyna's privacy and not share the details of what happened with her to everyone. It seemed like Annabeth wanted to know just as much as Piper did, and between the two of them, they could totally wear Jason down.

"Hold on," Jason began as he grabbed the drinks and dropped them off. Piper impatiently waited as Jason moved to the kitchen to drop off two tickets and then slowly make his way back to the bar like he was scared of what was about to happen. Nothing bad would happen if he would just tell them what they wanted to know.

"It's not my place to say anything," Jason replied as he walked back towards them. Piper crossed her arms and gave him a look.

"We already know she is a vampire," Leo chimed in as he seemed to appear at the bar counter.

"Reyna is a werewolf. Not a vampire," Jason corrected. Leo grinned. "Hey! Don't trick me!"

"Sorry, man. That was just a little too easy," Leo said with a shrug.

"We also heard that Thalia arrested Reyna. Was it because she thought Reyna had something to do with Ma Gasket's boys?" Annabeth questioned.

"Go play detective with someone else," Jason groaned as he rested his head on the bar.

"Did they release her yet?" Piper chimed in. Jason groaned again. "Seriously. It's been like a day."

"How do you guys already know all of the details?" Jason asked as he looked up.

"We don't know all the details. Just bits and pieces. That's why we are asking you about it," Annabeth explained. Jason sighed.

"Fine," Jason relented. "I got a call from Thalia that she needed a silver cure at Reyna's place. I went there, and Reyna's older sister tried to kill her. Apparently, she's a member of Exterminata. She almost killed Reyna, but Reyna managed to fight her off."

"Clarisse saved my ass," Reyna added as she appeared at the bar. Jason jumped in surprise and quickly turned around. Piper stared at Reyna. She hadn't even seen the woman, the werewolf, walk up to the bar counter, let alone into the building.

"I'm sorry," Jason began. Reyna shrugged and pulled back her hood. Piper studied the new bruises on Reyna's face. She had a few cuts as well.

"I figured it would get around," Reyna said as she seemed to give all of them a once over. Another shrug left her. "Is Chiron here?"

"He's not here yet. He will be in about an hour or so," Annabeth said. "I can call him if you want?"

Reyna shook her head. She sat at the bar and rubbed her forehead. Jason took the time to make himself scarce. Leo glanced at them and then focused on Reyna.

"Do you want some food?" Leo questioned.

"No. I'm good," Reyna declined. "I'll just wait for Chiron if that won't bother you."

"It won't," Piper promised. She was going to try and be nicer to Reyna but also keep an eye on her. Piper was still trying to sort through her feelings for Reyna, mostly being jealous because of the whole sleeping with Jason thing. At the same time, she did feel bad for the woman.

It sounded like Reyna had a really rough life. God, and her own sister trying to kill her? It sounded horrible. Leo spoke up, "Hey, Reyna. I'll make some food for you. No arguing."

Before Reyna could attempt to shoot it down, Leo gave her finger guns and walked towards the kitchen. Annabeth had turned away, and when she turned around, she had a soda in her hands that she gave to Reyna.

"Why is everyone being so nice to me?" Reyna asked after a few moments.

"Because you had a shitty day yesterday," Piper answered as she looked Reyna in the eyes. "Are you okay?"

"I don't know," Reyna admitted after a few moments. She looked down at her drink and then shrugged. "Physically, I feel like shit. Mentally, I feel worse. I don't know."

"Everyone at the bar is here for you," Piper said, and while she had issues with Reyna, she definitely would be there for her.

That didn't mean Piper wasn't still upset, though. It was funny to her that Reyna would say that Piper and Jason shouldn't sleep together, only to turn around and sleep with Jason. It didn't feel like a coincidence to her that the werewolf wanted to sleep with another werewolf and have him all to herself.

People would probably call Piper petty, but she wasn't being petty. She wasn't blind; all the evidence was right there. At first, Piper didn't understand why Jason would break off what they had and then instantly turn around and sleep with someone else. But if Reyna told Jason she was a werewolf, then it began to make sense. And, werewolves didn't like to share.

"Thanks, Piper," Reyna said after a few moments. "I'm sorry that things have been so awkward between us. And, I'm sorry for sleeping with Jason. Especially since it was so close to when you two broke up. Or ended whatever you guys were doing."

Piper was surprised at that. She wasn't expecting to hear an apology about it. Reyna shrugged again, and her face turned red, "Clarisse told me I probably overstepped some boundaries by sleeping with Jason so soon. So, I am sorry. I was just trying to help."

"And with being a werewolf, I had my own energy to work out," Reyna continued. She cleared her throat and looked down at the ground. Piper studied the woman in front of her. It was almost odd. Reyna always had this tension in her shoulders and seemed ready to run any moment. But not today. Today, Reyna's shoulders were almost drooped, and she didn't keep glancing around like she was looking for exits.

Something had allowed Reyna to finally begin to relax. It was a good thing, but that didn't mean Piper would take her eyes off of her. Reyna looked down at her hands, and a small frown came to her face. Piper studied her for a few more moments before Jason brought up a drink order.

Annabeth took Piper's place and talked to Reyna quietly, "You sure you're okay?"

"I think so," Reyna said softly. "This is just all new to me."

"What is?" Annabeth gently prodded. Reyna sighed. Piper focused on the conversation instead of the drinks she was making, so she would probably get a complaint about them. This was a little more important.

"How do I just forget the past?" Reyna asked quietly. "How do I just leave it all behind and move on?"

"It's not that simple," Annabeth said. "You can never forget the past. It will always be there with you, but you can move past it. You don't have to let it stall your progress into the future. Let it help you."

Reyna was silent for some time. Piper was able to finish making the drinks and hand them off to Jason. When she went to clean the bar, Reyna finally spoke, "Thank you, Annabeth. I appreciate it."

"Anytime," Annabeth said softly. Reyna nodded and focused on her drink, grabbing her phone as well. Annabeth grabbed a napkin and scribbled on it. She handed it off to Reyna. "Here's my number in case you need it."

Reyna nodded to her. There was a surprised, almost shocked, look on her face. Annabeth smiled at her before turning to help a customer. Reyna took her drink and sat in an empty booth. She stared down at the napkin before typing into her phone.

Piper watched Jason walk back to the bar to drop off glasses. She made her way to his side and spoke, "Sorry to interrogate you earlier."

"You're just nosy," Jason teased.

"Damn straight I am," Piper said as she raised her chin. Jason chuckled a moment later, and a giggle escaped Piper. "Are you okay?"

"I am," Jason promised. "More worried about Reyna than anything. I know she's beat up, but she's gotta be rattled as well. Her sister turned her back on her. Literally. She said that she doesn't want to see Reyna again."

"I can't imagine that," Piper said softly. She glanced over at Reyna who was still staring down at her phone. Piper didn't have a sibling that she knew of, and if she did have a sibling, she couldn't just imagine turning her back on them. Or vice versa. "It sounds terrible."

"I want to ask Reyna about it, but I don't think she would appreciate that," Jason said.

"Ask Clarisse," Piper suggested. "Clarisse is probably the only one who can begin to approach that subject with her. Or Chiron. I can't see him telling you anything about it, though."

"That's true," Jason agreed with a sigh. "I can ask Clarisse just to make sure Reyna isn't seconds from breaking down or something like that."

"She's tough," Piper said. She bit her tongue before she could say anything else. "You should get back to your tables."

Jason looked at her and nodded. Then, he walked away. Piper focused back on cleaning up some of the bar counter. Her gaze moved to Reyna every so often. A sigh left Piper. As much as she hated that Jason and Reyna were sleeping with each other, she just needed to get over it. There was a good chance that relationship or whatever it was called would fizzle out pretty soon.
