One day in the countryside of Dream Land, a Waddle Dee was walking around and enjoying his happy day when he heard a buzzing sound and wondered what was going on. At first, he thought his mind was playing tricks on him and his hidden ears were probably messing with him.
Then the buzzing got louder, someone giggled, the buzzing stopped for a bit and then it picked back up again before the Waddle Dee spotted a black-yellow blur flying around him.
More confused than ever while feeling a sense of dread, the Waddle Dee turned and tried to catch a very clear glimpse of what the blur was. Then the mysterious blur stopped moving around and the Dee found himself face to face with a winged and round yellow-black creature that looked very familiar. But still, that thing looked like...
'Kirby?' The Waddle Dee shook its head "Kirby?"
Bee Kirby giggled. "Bee-bee." He said, "Kir-bee. Bee-Kirby." The Kirby Bee then wheeled around, revealing a stinger on its back. The Waddle Dee cried out in terror and tried to run, but it tripped on a rock. Bee Kirby flew in and the Dee shrieked as it felt something sharp go into its own back, the Kirby Bee had just stung him.
The Waddle Dee leaped to its feet and cried out, running off in terror before falling unconscious. Bee Kirby laughed; this was where the fun began for him.
Right by a lake, a Waddle Doo was feeding acorns to a squirrel. Then, it heard buzzing and the squirrel ran away. Someone giggled and the buzzing noise continued, Waddle Doo turned around and its eye widened as it saw a terror approaching; A Kirby-looking bee creature.
"Sting-y stingies!" Bee Kirby hollered, "Time to sting!"
Waddle Doo shrieked and ran for it, the Bee Kirby followed after him and the chase was on. The terrified Waddle Doo tried to hide in a tree, but the Bee Kirby spotted him quickly. Waddle Doo jumped out and ran, trying so hard to escape from the bee that wanted to sting him.
Close by, Meta Knight and a Waddle Dee were out for a walk together and sharing an apple, enjoying the day and unconcerned about anything intense unfolding.
Unfortunately for them, just when it seemed their day would be great with no incidents taking place, today was about to cough up a big surprise. Right before Meta Knight and the Waddle Dee could finish their apples, they heard shrieking along with a buzzing sound and a Waddle Doo ran by as it screamed with terror.
"What's going on?" Meta Knight asked.
The Waddle Dee was about to answer when it shrieked at the sight of something, Meta Knight looked in the direction of what had scared his friend and gasped in shock when he saw a large bee-colored creature that nearly resembled Kirby.
Bee Kirby stopped flying for a second and waved happily at Meta Knight before giving him a goofy look, indicating that he wanted to sting Meta Knight or turn him into a bee too.
Meta Knight threw away his nearly finished apple and drew his sword, ready for battle with the hardly intimidating enemy that was coming for him. Bee Kirby came closer and Meta swung his sword, launching his first attack and engaging the approaching foe in battle. Bee Kirby dodged the attack and flew over Meta Knight's head, then he came down with his stinger ready.
Swiftly and well-prepared, Meta Knight stepped aside and avoided the sting-bomber strike as the Kirby bee creature came down and hit the ground harmlessly without anybody getting hurt.
The playfully-dangerous Bee Kirby giggled and got ready for another sting strike attempt, Meta Knight waited until Bee Kirby turned around and swung his sword. He hit Bee Kirby in the stinger and Bee Kirby cried out, initially surprised by the attack until he recovered. Nearly confused by his foe's strength, Meta Knight took to the air with his wings.
"Oh no, you don't." Bee Kirby buzzed in a sing-song voice, "There's no running away."
Bee Kirby moved his wings rapidly and flew up into the air at double speed, pursuing Meta Knight as he flew up into the skies above Dream Land. There, the battle was taken to a new level as both foes rushed each other, attacking one another and seeking out a weakness.
Meta Knight swiped at Bee Kirby, who backed up and then charged at the warrior at top speed. Bee Kirby charged like a bull and Meta floated aside, evading another attack from the usually peaceful puffball. In his eyes, something strange was going on. What was Kirby doing eating bees and turning into a bee himself, was there some sort of prank going on?
Kirby the Bee spun like a whirlwind and propelled himself towards Meta Knight, attempting yet another attack against the sword-wielding warrior and friend of King Dedede. While the two kept fighting, a group of Scruffys came by to observe and watched with full intrigue.
Bee Kirby noticed the Scruffys watching him and acted swiftly. He kicked Meta Knight, stunned him long enough and grabbed the sword from his hand before throwing the gold-bladed weapon across the sky.
With Meta Knight stunned, the Kirby Bee flew towards the Scruffys at fast speed and stung the first Scruffy he could sting, terrifying the second and causing the Scruffys to run away until the unfortunate Scruffy who got stung fell out of the sky and lost consciousness.
"Tee-hee-hee, you can't escape meeeeee." Bee Kirby sang happily, he chased after the second Scruffy while a flock of birds flew past and tweeted a song that sounded like they were terrified.
On the surface below, King Dedede stood upon the balcony of his castle, looking up at the sky with his binoculars and bird-watching while taking in the sweet fresh daylight air. However, he was in for an unexpected surprise when Dedede heard a faint buzzing sound, accompanied by playful giggling. That giggling sounded like it belonged to...
"KIRBY?" King Dedede's eyes widened and he spotted a pair of black dots, the penguin zoomed in on his binoculars and saw a panicked Scruffy being chased by a winged black-yellow variant of Kirby. 'Wait a minute.' It WAS Kirby; KIRBY AS A BEE!
Dedede dropped his binoculars in shock, he had not expected that one. However, as the saying went; 'Always expect the unexpected.' But Dedede had not expected this, he was terrifyingly caught off guard by this development. Up above, Bee Kirby noticed the castle below the clouds and spotted the faint outline of King Dedede upon the balcony.
Finally catching up to the Scruffy, Kirby stung the creature and dove down towards the castle with the intent of stinging King Dedede like mad and having lots of fun with him.
Dedede heard the buzzing sound getting louder and looked up to spot Bee Kirby coming towards him at the speed of a rocket, smiling and giggling. Not even noticing that a Scruffy was falling out of the sky, Dedede grabbed his hammer from thin air and prepared for battle.
'I will not be stung.' He thought, 'I gotta snap Kirby out of it.'
Bee Kirby outstretched his stubby arms like a superhero, he accelerated his flight speed and rocketed towards the castle balcony, the distance between him and King Dedede closing fast. Kirby reached the castle and dive-bombed Dedede, who swung his hammer at him and missed the usually harmless puff by mere inches.
"You can't hit me, ee-hee-heee-hee!" Bee Kirby taunted.
Dedede scoffed, "Oh yeah, you got another thing comin', pal." He lunged at the Kirby Bee and brought his hammer down, only to miss again when the puffball bee swept aside and then rammed King Dedede in the gut, unbalancing him and nearly making him drop his hammer.
"Whee-whee-whee." Kirby the Bee sang, "Sting time, sting time!"
"OH NO, YOU'RE NOT!"
The silly king penguin regained his footing and held his hammer steadily, prepared for what was coming next. Bee Kirby turned around and flew backwards with his stinger out, ready to sting the king. Dedede brought up the hammer and swung it hard enough and fast enough, he smacked Kirby and sent him crashing into a wall.
It was then that Meta Knight arrived with his sword to see the dazed Bee Kirby, who stood on his feet and wandered in a daze for a bit. Meta Knight, with his reclaimed weapon, walked forward and moved the blade of his sword and tapped the dazed Bee Kirby.
Bee Kirby burped and fell over, turning into a shade of pink and losing his bee powers. He was now back to normal, Kirby got back up and looked at Dedede and Meta Knight, realizing that someone had just snapped him out of what he was up to. "Oh." Kirby said happily, "Thank you." He hugged Dedede, "Sorry."
Meta Knight joined the hug, even though the group hug was a bit awkward. King Dedede forgave Kirby and Meta Knight complimented them for being well-trained fighters. With that, all was well in Dream Land with no drama to worry about once again...
