'So... you're a kwami, and you're lending me your powers' Nathaniel said, serving Plagg some garlic bread.
'Yeah' Plagg mumbled.
'And you did the same for Chat Noir.'
Plagg slumped more.
'What happened to him?' Nathaniel looked genuinely worried. Plagg sighed.
'His identity got discovered. He decided to give up in case Shadow Moth akumatizes the one who knows' he explained. 'He was my friend and he needs me. It was sudden and...'
'...and you wish that you two were still together' Nathaniel pet the kwami. 'Who was he?'
'It was...' Plagg struggled to overcome the bubbles. '...Magic makes me unable to tell.'
'But you can hint at that, right? Do I know him?'
'Uh, you should...?' Plagg hesitated. He knew that his new owner was in Adrien's class, but did the two actually know each other?
'Does it mean we're at school together?' Nathaniel smiled at the kwami.
'Uh, yes? Class even.'
Nathaniel picked up a piece of paper and a pencil, then sketched Kim's face.
'No... not him' Plagg shook his head.
Nathaniel sketched Ivan.
'Not him either.'
Nathaniel hesitated. And sketched Adrien. Plagg perked up.
'Yes! That's my kitten!' he exclaimed. Nathaniel smiled at him.
'You know... maybe you can meet him at school. Talk to him. Not during class, of course. But... me taking you up as a partner doesn't mean you won't see Adrien ever again, right?'
Plagg hugged his new owner. And then dived in to gorge on garlic bread.
