Bonesborough Healing clinic

Cat, Bo, Amelia, and the five recruits which were two bards, two oracles, and one illusionist then stopped about a block away from the Clinic as it was blocked off by a coven roadblock as the area was covered with wires as a horde of revenants blocked the front entrance. "Ok we're going on foot then, someone stays behind to make sure that our ride doesn't get eaten," Cat ordered as the illusionist then raised her hand. "Yes?" Bo asked. "Uh hi, Kathy here, and I volunteer to take care of them." Amelia then pulled out a notepad and pen from her satchel. "Ok, I need everyone's names just in case something happens." Soon they got a list which was Kathy from the illusion track, Samuel "Sam" and Heather from the bard track, and finally Ana and Otis in the oracle track.

"That everyone? ok just stay by us and you'll hopefully be fine," Bo told them as they crept past the horde by going to the side of the clinic as Cat then broke a window and looked inside. "It's clear." She said as they went in one by one as they were at the front desk as Sam looked at a torn map. "Uh not sure what to make of this but there are lots of floors in here."

"Medical stuff is in a secure storage area while the oxygen has to be in the operating rooms," Otis said as Heather asked "How does an oracle know about that?" She said sternly as Otis simply said "Volunteer nurse to help with community service." "Cause it sounds like you were trying to learn another track!" Heather yelled as Bo then shushed them. "Be quiet and let's just split and meet back here alright!"

"Yes sir." The five recruits said as they split with Cat and Bo as Amelia went back to help Kathy as they started going up the stairs stopping at different floors and entering.

Fifth floor, Operation/Surgical

Bo then pushed the emergency door as he swung a spear into a revenant before pulling it out as Otis and Heather followed. "So... are you and Cat a thing?" Heather asked Bo who turned red a bit.

"Ok, maybe a bit but no isn't the time to discuss that." "That blush doesn't hide it." Heather teased while Otis glared at her. "Hey just leave him be and just search."

"Whatever," Heather said as she simply pushed a door open and then held her nose. "It reeks!" Bo then looked inside and found an operating table covered in blood with half-eaten bodies on the floor. "Just take what you can carry." He said as Otis then started putting sterile pads and gauze in a backpack while Heather started searching drawers.

Third floor, Physical therapy/recovery

Cat, Sam, and Ana walked in.

"So why this room?" Ana asked as sam replied, "They've been bedridden since the start so their bodies might have trouble getting around also would be nice to get that new faculty member a new leg."

"Took the words out of my mouth," Cat said as Sam smiled awkwardly as Ana huffed as she grabbed a box of band-aids and put them in her pocket. "What's her deal?" "Just stay out of it," Sam told Cat as he entered a small play gym and checked a cabinet. "Hey found some crutches and canes here." He said as the two girls walked to him. "Good job, now let's hope this place has some unmelted ice cream somewhere," Cat said sarcastically as Sam laughed while Ana glared at them.

Back with Bo and his small group, they had managed to find some small stuff but it wasn't enough. "We need oxygen and breathing tubes," Bo told Otis as he tried to open a storage closet. "It locked." Bo then swung his spear at the look only for it to snap in half. "Shit."

"Weak ass, stand back," Heather said as she then pulled out a small flute from her pocket and took a deep breath. "Wait!" Otis yelled but Heather then blew as a loud sonic boom blew the door down. "Your welcome."

"Do you know what you just did!?" Otis yelled. "Yeah, I opened the door." "You idiot!"

"Hey relax," Bo said as Otis quickly started putting small oxygen tanks and tubes in his bag. "We need to leave now!" He shouted as the several dead bodies on the floor then slowly rose up growling. "Oh fuck..."

Outside Amelia and Kathy were simply keeping watch on the herd as it then started moving towards the clinic. "Damn it light a torch," Amelia told Kathy which she did which Amelia grabbed and ran shouting at the herd but to no avail as she simply tossed the torch at it setting a few revenants on fire but that did nothing as flaming revenants then strolled in.

Sam and Cat had packed their bags with fresh fruit from the small fridge at the desk while Ana was carrying the heavy bag of canes and other mobility items. "OK, can we take a ten-minute break?" She asked Cat as Sam then grabbed one end of the bag and helped her. "So you're getting back at me with her?" She asked him. "Excuse me?"

"Don't you lie you cheating ass!" Ana yelled as Cat then looked at them. "Ok now's not the time to..." "What you're just trying to get into his pants!" "No, and gross!" Cat said gagging a bit when Ana then spat in her face as Sam grabbed her. "I'm not trying anything, just leave Cat alone and focus on..."

WHACK! Ana swung a crutch at his face as he then tumbled down a flight of stairs as the sound of something snapping came out as he screamed as his right arm was snapped in half with the bone sticking out as Cat ran to him. "You alright." "I need a fucking doctor!" He screamed as Cat calmed him down as Ana then dropped the crutch. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." "Behind you!"

Sam yelled as Ana turned as her cheek was torn by a revenant as she screamed in pain and agony as Sam yelled for her. "Take it!" Ana yelled as she tossed the bag at Cat as more revenants then began to consume her while Cat handed Sam a crutch as they carefully and slowly walked down the stairs.

Back on the fifth floor, it wasn't any better. "Run just run!" Bo yelled as pushed a bed at the revenants following behind them as Heather then stabbed a revenant in the head with her sharpened music bow as Otis shot another with his crossbow as Bo stopped and quickly smashed a window and tossed the bags out as they landed in a bush.

"Ok I have a crazy plan that might work but we need a revenant," Bo told them as Heather and Otis nodded in agreement as Bo then used his broken spear to kill one. "Heather I need you to cut open its chest." He told her as the three of them then put on a pair of surgical gloves as Heather cut it open as Bo then pulled out its intestines and tossed it outside making a rope. "It looks gross but it's the quickest way."

The three of them then slowly put on bandanas as they slowly climbed down as Bo then dropped down and landed in the bushes bruising his feet a bit while Heather slipped and landed on her legs as she yelled. "Fuck!" Otis fell also but landed on her back. "Come on we're not that far from..." Soon he saw revenants heading towards them. "Head for the fences!" He shouted as he ran as Otis helped Heather as she limped.

Sam and Cat burst out from the staircase on the first floor as Cat then quickly pressed his broken arm in place before wrapping it with bandages and duct tape. "Come on we're nearly there." "Ana... she..." Cat could tell that Sam was still in shock seeing what she could tell his ex-girlfriend be eaten alive as she meant everything to him. "Sam I'm sorry but we have to leave."

"Not without her!" He screamed at Cat as he tried to go back but Cat quickly grabbed him. "You're leaving this place alive even if I have to drag your ass out of here!' She said as a revenant then tackled her as she grabbed a rotary crow phone from the front desk and quickly bashed its head in over and over as blood-stained her clothing.

"Close call, no pun intended Sa.. sam?" Cat looked around as she saw the bag on the floor along with a trail of blood as she followed it to find a broken window and saw muddy footprints that lead into the woods. "Sam? SAM!?" Cat couldn't believe it as she was now alone as she took the bag and heading towards the emergency exit.

Bo then stopped at a fence as he tossed his bag over it and started climbing it before hearing screaming as he dropped down and waited for the other two as a hand grabbed him to which he quickly pulled out a knife to see Cat who quickly hugged him as she cried.

"Where's..." "I lost them... both of them... you?" "Well..." Bo was stopped as the cart then stopped in front of them as Amelia and Kathy were in the front. "Get in!"The two shouted as Cat and Bo tossed their bags in as Kathy was about to set off when... "WAIT UP!" Bo turned around to the Heather limping using her playing bow as a crutch while holding a torn heavy bag of oxygen and tubes as she climbed the fence and jumped from it landed face-first on the cart as the group took off.

"Wait where's Otis?," Bo asked to which Heather replied, "He gave his life for mine," Heather said as her head bleed a bit as a bit of her hair fell out."

Minutes earlier

Heather and Otis slowly walked as the revenants were close to them. "Move your slow ass!" Heather shouted as Otis stopped to take a few shots at the dead as Heather continued walking. "Hey hold up we need this bag!" "Stop telling me what we need it's either us or them!" Heather shouted as Otis then slapped her. "Stop thinking about yourself and think about everyone that needs this."

Heather stopped as she looked at her sharp playing bow at then at Otis. "How bad is your leg." He asked her. "I can walk fine." She then walked a few steps before tripping to the ground as Otis lifted her up. "You aren't strong enough to make it without..." I'm not weak!" She screamed before slashing his knees with her bow as he screamed as Heather was in shock as she started to crawl away as Otis still in pain grabbed her hair.

"Stop pulling!" She yelled as she slowly lifted herself up with her bow as Otis was still holding to her hair-tearing a bit from her scalp as she yelled in pain and then started pulling on the back which was strapped to Otis's back. "Ok I'll just turn myself self around and you can just haul me I can still..."

Heather then slashed the straps of the bag as she slowly limped away with it while Otis tried to crawl but was quickly pinned down by revenants as they began to tear open his belly and devour him as Heather slowly limped away trying to ignore Otis's screams as she saw the rest of the group at the fence with the cart ready as she screamed for them.

Yeah, this was a pretty dark chapter.
