I am darkness's daughter,
Lights bane
I long for angel light
Not demon pain.
I seem to know no laughter
But don't they see the war
That constant inside of me
I can't take it anymore!
Raven I am called
A simple name
A bird of night seems to fit
But light I wish to gain.
I sit in the darkness
Books my passion because in them I am free
Not bound by fathers will or deeds
Only me.
I wish things were different
But I stopped wishing a while ago
Those simple dreams cast to stars
A simple freedom I'll probably never know.
I am darkness's daughter
A creature of the night
I'm supposed to not feel
But I'm still longing for the light.
