Raine Whispers slept in their cell as they woke up to the sound of the Alarm going off followed by screaming and shouting as they lifted themselves out of bed the sound of chains being dragged as Raine's feet and hands were locked and chained together as Raine waited for the cell to open which it eventually did as Riane slowly walked around with nothing but the sound of the chains shaking as Riane then stopped in horror staring at two undead coven guards eating their fellow comrade as Raine slowly backed away before running the halls eventually tripping down a flight of stairs going even further down the Conformatorium where it read Traitors of the coven as Raine walked looking at the cells which were mostly open and empty as they then dogged an attack.

"Raine? that you?" A voice asked as Raine looked and saw Kayta holding a dagger as she was chained with Amber and Derwin as the three of them then hugged their leader. "So what now?" Derwin asked Raine who thought for a bit before saying. "We get out of here simple as that but first we need to get out of these chains."

Everyone agreed as Raine took lead and lead them even further into the prison as they came across a Revenant as Kayta then handed Raine the knife as they quickly stabbed it in the head before searching the body. "No keys but I found this." Raine then handed Kayta a short sword which she took as the two of them managed to kill a few more Revenants one of them being an archer as they acquired a crossbow and a quiver of bolts.

"Now cut the chains," Riane said as Katya carefully aimed the sword tip before swinging it down on the chains cutting them off one by one before slicing off Raine's cuffs as they shook their hands. "A bit sore but they still work." The four of them then walked trying to find the exit only to come across more revenants as they quickly killed them as Raine looked at a map. "Ok the food supply is our first objective, then we locate the armory, and finally we get out of here, we'll do this one by one I'm not risking anyone getting lost."

The BATTS then nodded in agreement as they slowly walked to the armory as Derwin spoke with Kayta "So... I guess dinners out of the question." "Really your thinking about that now?"

Kayta asked him as he responded, "Fine I'll figure it out." "You don't have to," Kayta said as she kissed his lips as Raine then huffed. "Less smooching and more walking."

The two lovebirds then stopped and continued walking as Riane then broke the lock to the armory and opened it to find it was almost empty except for a few crates that read Blight industries as Kayta opened a crate and pulled out what looked like a wooden stick with metal with a small lever on the front as she picked up a small metal ball which she slid down the front.

"Heard about this, Belos told the Blights to stop making abominations, honestly I think that was Darius's idea, and to make new weapons that could fire projectiles faster than a catapult and so fast you couldn't be quick enough to cast a shielding spell to block it," Riane said as they took a small shorter version of the long one as they put in the projectiles and put it in their pants pocket as the rest of the group then packed all the ammunition they could carry as they went on as it got dark a bit as Amber lit a torch as she was leading the way passing a few dead guards laying on the floor as they passed a few cell blocks that had dead bodies on the floor all of them deep cuts to the heads.

"I think I'm going to be sick," Amber said as Raine picked her up and carried her on their shoulder as Katya then opened a door as a revenant then pinned her to the floor as Derwin pulled it away from her as the revenant then tore a chuck from his shoulder as Raine then took the small flintlock out and quickly pulled the trigger. BLAM! The shot then went into the revenant as everyone was holding their ears from the loud shot. "I think I'm deaf!" Amber yelled as the shot rang around the hallway as the revenants then followed the noise towards them.

"Oh, mother of titan." "RUN!" The group then made a run for it as Derwin held his bleeding shoulder struggling to catch up as he then fired a few bolts at the dead before Raine grabbed and pulled him with them as they tripped causing a revenant on the floor to craw and bite their right arm tearing the flesh off. "RAINE!" Kata screamed as she then drove a knife into the revenant's head as she and Amber lifted Raine who was holding their bleeding arm as the bite had broken the skin almost showing bone.

The BATTS then reached the food storage as Amber began picking the lock as it opened as they grabbed a few ice packs and placed them on Raine's arm who then hissed in pain. "This isn't working!" Kayta said as Amber was slowly showing tears as Derwin said "What if we stop the infection?" He asked as he and Amber held Raine's arm down on a shelf as Kayta held the sword.

"You OK with this Raine?" "If I can live then yes..." Derwin nodded as Amber closed her eyes while Kayta then swung the sword down as Raine tried their best not to yell or scream as their right arm was severed as blood squirted out.

They then quickly burned it with a torch as Raine fainted from the pain and blood loss while Amber wrapped the stump with a coven banner as the group held onto their leader and turned around to find themselves face to face with a blonde inmate with long blonde hair and a goatee holding a longsword. "Listen we don't..." "Food and weapons on the floor now!" He shouted as the BATTS then dropped everything as Raine coughed a bit.

"Damn it we just want to get out of here and help our friend," Derwin told them as Kayta then told him. "Hey!, we've saved about twenty witches before all this at least show a bit of fucking respect."

"You a BATT?" The inmate said as he rolled up his sleeve to show a brand mark of the emperor's coven. "You wanted to be free right, well the emperor and all covens are practically gone so I guess you are free," Derwin told him as the inmate then sighed before dropping his sword as the BATTS then picked up their weapons and supplies. "Exit isn't that far just wanted to get as much stuff as possible."

"You planned for something like this?" Amber asked. "Not really but the guards get so bored here they start chatting about anything they think of." He said while they walked as Kayta felt Raine's forehead. "Their burning up here."

"I know a shortcut." The inmate said as he then walked to a wall and tapped it as a secret passage opened. "That explains how they had quick shifts." The group then slowly side-stepped through as the walls were thin as the sound of moaning came from the other side as it reached the guards' break room as several revenants rushed inside. "Fall back, fall back!" Kayta yelled as they quickly shuffled back as Dewin then shoved the group aside.

"Derwin?" Kayta asked as her lover then shouted "CLOSE IT JUST CLOSE IT!" He screamed as the Revenants then started bitting into him as Katya and Amber could only watch as the inmate quickly closed the passage as the screams then stopped as the group then reached the back of the prison to find a few transport carts and their beasts still intact as Amber got on the front while the inmate and Katya went in the back carefully holding Raine as they slammed the doors shut as they rode off.

Raine then woke up dazed as they saw Katya. "What happened?" "Raine just rest please."

Raine then felt odd as they couldn't feel any movement from their right side as Raine lifted the arm to see a bandaged stump. "It had to be done," Kayta said as Raine held their head with their left hand in shock as she looked at the inmate. "Who's this?"

"Names Axel ma'am." He said as Raine then counted every one. "What about Derwin?" Kayta simply lowered her head as Raine realized what had happed as they comforted their friend as they continued riding off.

"So where to?" Amber asked Riane as the former bard coven leader knew the answer. "Hexside, that place has to be intact plus... Eda would have thought of it as the first place for safety."

Amber nodded as she rode it while Raine pulled out an old school photo from their pocket. "I can't wait to see you again." They said smiling at a small chance for happiness.
