Steven quickly made a run for it as about five students then tackled the doctor to the ground while Gwen and a few others lifted Lilith and gave her water while cleaning the blood off her clothes. "Tie him up," Boscha said as Cat and Skara then did so before locking him in the janitor's closet.
"That's it I've had enough of this!" Boscha said as she left the Cafeteria while the horn was blown again as the students then looked and saw a Coven wagon heading closer with a white flag being waved as Luz, Mort, and Viney slowly approached it while the Banshees had their weapons drawn as the back was open.
Alex and Katya then hauled Riane out with a sheet as they stopped seeing crossbows aimed at them. "Shit."
"Hey just let our friend get medical attention and then we'll leave." Raine slowly rose to cough as they raised their arm.
"Both arms up and then..." Bo stopped as the rest then saw Raine holding their bleeding stump.
"Screw the headmaster let them in!" Gwen and Viney then helped lift Riane to the medical room where Viney then slowly unwrapped the stump to see it badly burned.
A student then proceeded with the results. "Well, the bleeding stopped, but the burn is quite severe, this might sting."
Viney then proceeded to clean it with rubbing alcohol as Raine held their mouth closed till Viney was done. "There just rest for a few days and then you'll be fine now was that your..."
"Dominant hand yes," Raine answered as they simply stared at it.
Outside the Banshees and BATTS were unloading the crates they had gotten from the prison. "They pack heavy firepower but cause a loud noise," Axel told them as Gwen and Mort looked at him with suspension.
"So what was your crime?"
"Like many others, hated being in a coven precious."
"Why you!" Mort then grabbed Gwen as Axel carried the rest of the crates while Luz then talked with Boscha
"So about this "Headmaster"."
"We don't talk about them, they never leave the principal's room they practically live there and each time they send one of us to simply deliver food or give instructions to the others." The triclops statted.
"Sounds like a tyrant," King said as Boscha hugged him. "Aw as much as I still miss social media nothing is cutter than him!"
King then screamed in terror "AHH, treason!" Boscha and the rest of the banshees simply laughed while Luz went back inside passing the principal's office she saw a light underneath the door she then knocked and entered the darkroom as a voice spoke.
"Who is it?"
"Uh, we have newcomers," Luz said in a deep voice.
"No, no more "Refugees" we're low on supplies as it is, make them leave."
"But "Headmaster"..."
"No excuses!, and where's Stevan?"
Luz stuttered a bit. "He's "tied" up at work at the moment."
"Tell him to come to see me when he's done."
"Yes." The young human said as she left.
"Ok, how can they play with one hand?" Kayta asked as Raine's stump was put in a sling.
"We don't have enough materials for a prosthetic for one so the sling will have to do for now," Viney told the BATTS while tending to her griffin.
Lilith was on patrol with a few students as she walked to the garden and started pulling out weeds to make room for seeds which she planted and watered with a few plant track students. "Such calmness around here." She said to herself before laying down on the floor and sleeping.
"Where's Stevan?" Luz asked Boscha and the rest of her group.
"We left him in the empty closet, why?"
"I need to talk to him." Boscha then opened the door as she and the human walked in and found the doctor tied and gagged as Luz pulled the tape out of his mouth.
The doctor simply stared at them."What do you want."
"What do you know about the "Headmaster?"."
"I helped them when this whole thing started we're partners then when this school fell we gave it hope."
Luz then smacked him with a broom. "Hope? We lost almost everyone a few days because of you!"
"Headmaster's orders human said that the strongest tracks have to survive."
"Survive!?, Bull! In case you haven't noticed I studied in all tracks."
"Well, then you're a wild witch, and there's nothing worse than..." Luz at that point then grabbed Eda's staff before hitting Stevan over the head with it as Boscha had to restrain her.
"Luz stop you'll kill him!"
"Good this fraud deserves to..."
Soon the loudspeakers came on "May the human see me right now?"
"Your so dead..." Stevan said as Boscha simply spat in his face.
"Luz you have to go before this gets worse."
Luz simply nodded before heading to the principal's office as the rest of the students watched while the adults were confused.
"What is happening?" "Gwen asked as Skara replied in terror.
"Expulsion..."
Luz then sat down in front of a desk the room was dark with only a candle lighting everything as she activated a small light glyph. The coven banners on the wall were there except for the Iluiosion, bard, and Oracle tracks as the same voice spoke.
"Luz the human... Hexside's first "Transfer" student."
"What do you want with me?"
"You've been nothing but trouble ever since you got here... making a scene in the abomination class, destroying the detention room while endangering an innocent student's life, and who can forget that basilisk attack... and still now you're causing nothing but a danger to this school and everyone present!"
"Hey, I've been doing nothing but helping the best I can!"
"How? You lost nearly your whole group on a run, and now you've brought criminals to this safe place!"
"My mentor trusted them before she passed and I trust them as well."
Luz yelled as her chair then strapped itself to her. "What is this?"
"Human I've had enough of your trouble and I am hereby expelling you from this place!" Soon the windows then opened as the chair then walked over it dangling over the large pit of corpses that had turned into Revenants.
"This isn't expulsion, it's murder!"
"Yes such a shame, poor human drinks too much apple blood and meets her end by falling into the pit."
Luz struggled to get out as her fingers felt her pockets for a glyph she tapped on one making her vanish she screamed as the chair fell into the pit while she was holding onto the window.
Soon almost everyone had heard the shouts and screams as they walked and found the pit along with the broken chair and a multicolored uniform that had fallen inside as everyone was in shock.
"He did it he actually did it," Boscha said as Lilith, Gwen, and King rushed over and saw the large pit. "Luz..."
"Kill all of these things." Boscha and Lilith ordered as the students and Banshees then started firing shots, and arrows into the pit.
Luz struggled to climb but she managed to do it as she got up and saw the shadowy figure she quickly placed a light glyph on the floor it turned into a ball of light showing nothing but a training dummy in dark rides.
"What?" Luz then found the intercom light was on as the "Headmaster"'s voice started talking about Luz's unfortunate demise as she followed the cord to the wall as remembered the secret tunnels that Eda had made during her school years.
She then managed to open the one in the wall and the smell of fresh and cooked food came from the inside as she crawled inside still following the wire to find a sort of makeshift house made from wood and metal scraps the voice got closer and closer still talking about Luz's "Death" as the human had enough and quickly used a fire glyph to burn the small place door as she literally pulled the plug from the intercom and soon a fearful scream came from inside one that sounded all to familiar to her as a cloaked figure ran out with their robe on fire as they tried to stamp it out as Luz then pulled it off them to see...
"Mattholomule?!" Luz said in surprise as the witch turned around still wearing the paper crown from the human appreciation club.
"Oh shi..." He then quickly made a run for it as Luz then tackled him.
"WHY!?, you left all those other students to fend for themselves! while you sit there trying to be a tyrant doing nothing but eating our food!"
Matt at that point shivered with fear now seeing he wasn't in control anymore. "I..."
"Come on!" Luz then pinched his ear and dragged him outside the school tossing him to the floor as the adults and students were starring at her like they had seen a non-pun ghost.
"Your alive and wait is that..."
"Get that doctor these two need some explaining to do." Matt simply gulped.
Soon Matt and Stevan were tied together as they were stared at by the entire school.
"Start from the beginning now!" Boscha yelled as Matt was sweating.
"We... found each other, he's an actual doctor if you believe it."
"And a con." Gwen and Viney said as Stevan spoke.
"Well I never really graduated medical school but all you need is a fake license and people will line up to see you." He said as Gwen slapped him.
"I found Matt hiding in the gardens when the whole place was overrun, then by some miracle, we found these passageways that connected all over the school, then we made a plan, Matt managed to get the speakers working again and using a fake voice gave the survivors instructions and soon we took back Hexside, I would come in as a doctor looking for refuge and well you all know the rest."
"Shoot him," Viney said as Boscha then loaded a flintlock.
"NO!" Luz said.
"Luz, Matt just tried to kill you and Stevan... he's nothing but a con!" Lilith said.
"I know but if we start with them then what? It won't end well if we do this."
"Then what do you say?"
"Let them go." Boscha and Lilith glared at the two frauds before untying them.
"Ok now if you can just let us..."
"Oh no, you two aren't going back in."
"We'll sleep in the garden then," Stevan said.
"Nope, you two are taking your things and leaving these grounds for good." Luz said as Matt then dropped to his knees.
"Have you gone mad!? We can't survive out there with just food and water..."
"I don't... care... and if you dare come back..." Luz then snatched Boscha's flintlock and quickly fired it in the air causing Matt and Stevan to quickly run away from the school till they couldn't be seen anymore.
"What do you think?"
"I'd give them about a week at least."
"A day."
One month later
Luz walked around the hallway wearing a new multicolored uniform as she walked into a classroom and sat down at a desk. "More studies Luz?"
"You know it, Professor Whispers." Raine chuckled as they grabbed a pointing stick with their left hand and pointed it at the blackboard. "Now tell me how much magic would it take for a spell to be played on a brass instrument?"
Lilith sat down at her desk stirring a cauldron while Barkus was adding ingredients to it as they poured it into a bottle.
"Should last a few days right?" Lilith asked as Barkus barked in response. "Sometimes I have no idea what you're saying but your a good dog and student.
She then patted him on the head while he licked her face. "Good boy."
"Be safe alright?"
"Mom I always am," Boscha said to her mother as she and the banshees then got on the coven carriage from the prison before driving off on another supply run under Gwen's orders as they had the guns loaded in the back for emergency use.
