Ahem: a collection of stories from my older sister's birthday that I am now posting individually.
Rules: I shall put my music library on shuffle and pair her top 10 ships with the first 10 songs. Each ship gets a story related to the song with decreasing times: ship #1 gets 10 min., ship #2 gets 9 min., ship #3 gets 8 min., etc. So ship #10 is a hot mess 1 min. panic attack.
You don't HAVE to listen to the song first...but you might want to. And author's notes are bolded.

Haha, this is a funny song. That also strangely fit? I feel like there are high stakes for writing your own pairing, so I hope you enjoy.
"Cinders, what just happened?"
"Chill out, this is normal."
"A magic piano is that puts us both into a trance is normal?"
"Hey, you were here the other night! You know this place is haunted. Don't pretend like you didn't know what you were signing up for."
"Well, I want out."
"Well, I didn't ask you to be here."
"But you wanted me to be."
Ivy's eyes widened. "What?"
Tyler smirked, but didn't respond.
She furrowed her eyebrows. "No, really, if you're too scared, then allow me to escort you out. I'll just keep the treasure for myself."
He slammed his hand onto the wall beside her, blocking her path of travel. "Might I remind you that I'm the only Barcarolle here? Without me, you're trespassing."
"Oh yeah? And what are you gonna do about it?"
His eyes flickered up and down her frame, and he slowly put his arm down. "I'll think of something."
She rolled her eyes and continued walking down the hallway.
Ten steps later, she heard him sigh and yell, "Hey, wait up, Cinders!"
She smiled.
