Chapter 1: Start of something new
Kairi was sitting on a couch reading her book. Then her mom walked in. "Kairi, it's new years eve enough reading" Her mom said as she took the book. "but mom I'm almost done and--" "the teen party, I've layed out your best clothes now go get ready" Her mom said. "can I at least have my book back" Kairi said. Then her mom gave it to her. "thank you" Kairi said.
"keep workin left Sora" Sora's dad said. "by goin left?" Sora said. "yeah, he looks middle you take it down town!" "like this?" Sora said as he jumped and made the shot perfectly. Then his mom walked in. "boy's, did we really come all this way to play more basketball?" Sora's mom asked. "yeah- yeah" Sora and his dad said. "the party" Sora's mom said as she showed off her dress by going around in a circle. "right, the party -new years eve" Sora's dad said. "Sora they have a kids party downstairs in the free style club" Sora's mom said.
"kids party?" Sora said. "young adults now go shower up" Sora's mom said. "come on one more" Sora said looking at his mom and holding up one finger. Then he made another shot and made it perfectly, again.
Then Kairi walked through the lodge and some guy with a big cowboy hat on said "hody mam" as she walked away giggling. Then she sat back down and opened up her book and started reading.
Then Sora walked in and just leaned up against a pole. "alright let's give it up for a couple of snow boarders" "who's gonna rock the house next?" The guy up on stage said. Then the search light landed on Kairi and Sora. "uhhh-hhhhhooooo!" The guy on stage said. "I can't sing guys, no guys!" Sora said as people were pushing him up on stage. Kairi and Sora were now on stage together.
"some day, you guys might thank me for this, or not" the guy said walking off the stage. Then the music started.
Sora: Livin' in my own world, didn't understand, that anything can happen.. when you take a chance
Kairi:I never believed in what I couldn't see, I never opened opened my heart

Then Sora and Kairi looked into eachothers eyes.
"Sora" "Kairi" They both told eachother while smiling
"but seriously you have an amazing voice" "your a singer right?" Sora asked Kairi. "just church quire is all, I tried to solo and nearly fainted end of solo career" Kairi said. "well with the way you sung tonight that's pretty hard to believe" Sora said. Well it sounds like you've done quite a bit of singing youself" Kairi said. "yeah my shower head is very impressive" Sora said while Kairi giggled.
"9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1!" The crowd shouted as fire works went off. Then Kairi and Sora looked into eachothers eyes. "I'd better go find my mom and wish her a happy new year" Kairi said. "me too" "well not your mom, my mom.. and dad" Sora said. "hey I'll call you tommorow" Sora said. Then they both pulled out their cell phones and exchanged them, put their numbers in and their pictures. Then Kairi walked away. "just to let you know singing with you was the most fun I had on this entire vacation, so where do you live?" Sora said turning around and seeing Kairi was gone.
"Kairi..." Sora said looking at his cell phone once again.
