Note: Drabble. Eh…not that good, but I've been OBSESSED with this pairing lately and wanted to post something of it….I hate the ending
With a soft sigh he cast his red eyes down to look at the young man who lay curled up in his lap. He gently stroked the teen's dusty blonde hair and felt him snuggle closer against his chest, with a murmur of contentment.
"He's just like a little kitten," he thought with a quiet laugh.
Stormy grey eyes looked up at him sleepily. He couldn't help but smile.
If his faith had ever wavered, one look into those eyes could restore it. Anything as beautiful and faultless as him had to be absolute proof of Ishbala's presence in the world. The laws had to be wrong, there was no way this was a sin. And even if it was, he'd willing take an eternity of damnation in exchange for a lifetime with Alphonse.
He pressed his lips softly against those of the younger male, who smiled and settled back down. He took a deep breath, allowing the perfection of the moment to sink in, before resting against the back of the futon. He let his eyes close and savoured the feeling of finally having found peace.
