Reyna was proud of herself. After being vomited on (and having some of it go into her mouth!), she didn't lose her cool. She instead just stared at Annabeth for a long moment before Magnus and Alex helped the drunken woman stand. Reyna then immediately rolled off of the couch and rushed to the nearest trash can, so she could purge the alcohol in her system. And Annabeth's vomit that she swallowed.

When she had thrown up everything she ate in the last few days, she held onto the trashcan like it was a lifeline. It took her a few minutes to make her way back to the living room to see most of Annabeth's extended family had left. Reyna walked up the stairs and felt sick to her stomach. She couldn't get the taste out of her mouth, and she was getting ready to puke again.

Reyna's suit was covered in barf, and she wanted nothing more than to cleanse herself in the shower and change into something clean. Instead, she made her way towards the sound of talking and found herself outside one of the bathrooms. After hearing Alex's voice, Reyna knocked on the door and saw that Annabeth was vomiting into a toilet. Alex held her hair back, and Magnus rubbed her back.

"You okay?" Alex asked. Reyna shook her head, feeling queasy. "It looked like she got you right in the mouth."

"I swallowed some," Reyna admitted, but it was hard to speak. Two seconds later, she turned and retched into the sink. Alex winced.

"I'm not saying I puke when other people do. But," Alex began. Reyna rested her head against the sink and felt like her stomach was doing flips. She retched again. "Sorry. Magnus. I can't deal with these sounds."

"Yeah," Magnus said painfully. Reyna heard footsteps leave the room. "Get them new clothes!"

Reyna groaned and finally stopped retching. She grabbed mouthwash and took a swig right out of the container. She spat it out almost immediately and then repeated this process until she was able to swish the liquid around without feeling like she was going to lose the meager contents of her stomach.

Reyna finally dropped the container and looked at Magnus. He was holding Annabeth's hair back with one hand and rubbing her shoulder with the other. Reyna slowly spoke, "I'll help her shower."

"Are you sure?" Magnus asked. Reyna nodded. She buried her face back against the sink and retched once again. A string of curses left her mouth, and she buried her forehead into the marble counter. "Maybe, you should go lay down."

There was a knock on the door, and Bobby spoke, "Is Annabeth okay?"

"Can we come in?" Matthew asked.

"It's a little crowded," Magnus called. Reyna heard the voices outside the door fall silent. The door opened a few moments later, and Reyna slowly turned. She stared at Frederick. Annabeth's father looked right at her.

"Are you okay?" Frederick asked Reyna. It took her a few moments to nod, despite how queasy she felt. He looked completely unconvinced, but his eyes went back to his daughter. Reyna looked at Annabeth as well and regretted it immediately.

"Shit," Reyna cursed again as she buried her face back against the counter. Her stomach felt like it was curling up inside her, which really felt like a great idea to the rest of her too.

"I will help my daughter," Frederick said softly. "First, I want to talk to you, Reyna. If you can."

"I'm fine," Reyna muttered painfully. She slowly stood and caught a glance of herself in the mirror. Her face was pale, and there was more vomit around her lips. Reyna was going to throw up again. She wiped her face with her sleeve and slowly looked at Frederick.

"You two aren't dating, are you?" Frederick asked. It seemed more like an accusatory statement than a question that needed an answer, but Reyna still nodded her affirmation. Frederick looked at Annabeth and frowned. "Why does she do this?"

"Why don't you ask?" Reyna countered as she started to cross her arms. She quickly changed her mind as she saw how covered most of her suit was.

"I do," Frederick argued as he looked Reyna in the eyes. There was concern and confusion on his face. At least he seemed to care enough about Annabeth to be there. Out of the corner of her eye, Reyna saw that Annabeth's stepmother was standing by the bathroom door. Who was with the rest of the family then?

"Do you listen?" Reyna finally asked. Frederick remained silent and looked away. Reyna felt like adding more, but she stopped herself. Anything she said would only make things worse, and anything she said would be the things she wanted to tell her own mother but couldn't.

"You can shower in our bathroom," Annabeth's stepmother offered after a moment. Reyna looked at her. "I should have a spare change of clothes that can fit you."

"I can also run to your hotel room," Magnus offered. Reyna nodded slightly and slowly pushed herself off of the bathroom sink. She started to leave the room but looked back at Frederick.

"Knowing your parents don't approve of your choices or don't care for you hurts," Reyna said. "Even if you do care about Annabeth, she doesn't seem to think so. And, I can tell you from experience how damaging that is."

Reyna looked down and followed Annabeth's stepmother out of the bathroom. They made it further down the hall and towards a bedroom. Reyna did her best to make sure no vomit fell on the carpet as she walked towards the bathroom.

"I'll wash your clothes for you," Annabeth's stepmother offered. Reyna nodded and was left alone. She carefully took her clothes off and folded them up in a towel. Then, she stepped in the shower and slowly ran through what had happened in her head as hot water poured down on her.

Annabeth kissed her. Sure, the woman was drunk, but she kissed Reyna and didn't let her go. How the hell was Annabeth that good of a kisser when she was drunk? The worst part was that Thalia was going to be pissed at Reyna. She would probably blame her for taking advantage of Annabeth or not pulling away sooner.

Really, the only thing for Reyna to do was not tell Thalia. Or anyone else. Hopefully, Annabeth wouldn't remember and no one would bring it up to her. Reyna hung her head under the water and basked in the long shower to get the feeling and stink off of and out of her skin.

When she stepped out of the shower, she saw clothes had been put out for her. Reyna put them on and felt that they were a little big, but she could make do. She walked back down the stairs and found that there were only five people in the room.

"Would it be rude to buy you mouthwash for next Christmas?" Alex teased. Reyna didn't answer as she slowly walked towards the couch and sat down. Alex leaned against Magnus and smiled gently. "Doing okay?"

"Just tired," Reyna answered after a few moments. She rubbed her eyes.

"There's leftover food if you want any later," Annabeth's stepmother offered. Reyna slowly looked around and realized that the house was barren compared to the last few days. Annabeth's stepmother was sitting next to Bobby and Matthew.

Reyna nodded and hung her head again. She still felt queasy, and all she wanted was to go back to the hotel room. Reyna closed her eyes and tried to relax. With any luck, they would be back in the hotel room soon.

As if Annabeth kissing Reyna while drunk wasn't bad enough, the damn woman was a cuddler. Reyna didn't get her wish of being back at the hotel room, especially since Annabeth pretty much fell asleep in the shower. Who the hell fell asleep in the shower?!

Frederick had been beet red when he asked if anyone could help him carry Annabeth out of the bathroom. Reyna was able to do it by herself. She just wasn't expecting Annabeth to only be wearing a towel. While they all shared a locker room at the gym, it wasn't like Reyna stared at the others when they were getting dressed.

Between Frederick and Reyna, who helped by closing her eyes, they were able to dress Annabeth and lay her in bed. Reyna couldn't bear to eat and volunteered to stay with Annabeth in case she started to hurl in her sleep.

As Reyna had been reading over the article that had been sent to the entire team and was texting Hazel to make sure she was okay, Annabeth cuddled against her. Now, Reyna was quickly running out of bed to sleep on because Annabeth kept moving closer and closer to her.

Reyna ended up rolling off the bed and moving to the other side to get away from her. It wasn't like she didn't want to cuddle with Annabeth, but it felt wrong. She was dating Thalia, and Annabeth was drunk. It just felt like taking advantage of her even though Reyna wasn't doing anything.

A groan left Reyna. She was thinking too much into this and letting her anger and exhaustion make her irrational. Reyna sighed and shifted closer to Annabeth. Her heart almost jumped out of her chest as Annabeth rested her head against Reyna and then wrapped an arm around her.

Reyna closed her eyes and tried to distract herself. She could not stop thinking about the fact that Annabeth kissed her. It was just a drunken kiss, but she couldn't get it out of her mind. Reyna sighed and grabbed her phone studying her most recent messages. On one hand, she could text Thalia, but she felt like her girlfriend would just be mad at her.

On the other hand, there was Nico and Hylla. Neither would judge her, hopefully. Nico would be busy comforting Hazel, though. That left Reyna with her older sister. It didn't take her long to text her sister about the incident. Then, she stared up at the ceiling and tried to get the thought of the kiss out of her mind.
