"This tastes great," Annabeth commented before she took a huge bite of her sandwich. Another wrapped one rested in front of her, and her iced coffee was untouched. Reyna glanced at her and nodded before propping her legs up on an empty chair.

"They just opened down the street, so I thought it would be a nice treat," Reyna commented. She looked tired, and her gaze was focused ahead. Reyna blinked and looked at Annabeth. "I got you the correct coffee, right?"

"You did," Annabeth confirmed. She glanced at the pile of breakfast sandwiches in the middle of the table. There was enough for everyone there to have at least two sandwiches, and there was coffee for everyone as well. Reyna got everyone their normal coffee, though she forgot to take the whipped cream off of Piper's. There was also an extra coffee that Annabeth guessed was meant to be for Hazel. "How much do I owe you?"

"My treat," Reyna dismissed. She winced as she slowly stretched her back. Annabeth knew how hard both of them had been working, but it seemed like Reyna was trying to push herself to her limits and beyond.

The door opened as Piper walked in with Octavian. Piper glanced at the table, and Annabeth spoke, "Food and coffee for everyone."

"Thanks, babe," Piper said as Annabeth handed Piper's coffee to her. "But, you forgot to ask for no whip."

"Reyna bought it," Annabeth corrected.

"In that case, it is perfect," Piper adjusted as she looked at Reyna. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," Reyna replied as she sat forward and grabbed two sandwiches that were wrapped slightly differently. Her hand started to close around it, but Annabeth saw her fingers freeze for a moment. Reyna tensed slightly before her hand slowly grabbed the sandwich. She handed it to Piper. "These are vegetarian."

"Thank you again," Piper said. Reyna nodded and extracted her hand. She placed it under the table, but from her angle, Annabeth could see her massaging her fingers. It was concerning that it was the hand on her injured wrist acting like that.

Frank and Lupa filed in a moment later. Will slipped in behind them with Nico, and Reyna quietly motioned to the coffee and food. She focused back on massaging her hand. All of them ate quietly, and when they were done, Lupa stood and made her way to the front of the room.

"As you all know, I am being inducted into the hall of fame in Rome. I would love for all of you to attend. The league is going to cover all flight costs, hotel, and tickets for the event. Everyone can bring two guests, so I just need to know who everyone is going to bring," Lupa said. "We'll be in Rome for a week, and if anyone has a museum or place they want to visit, I will cover the costs."

Annabeth knew that everyone in the room would attend Lupa's induction. Even with how destroyed Reyna and Lupa's relationship was, Annabeth didn't doubt Reyna would be there. And Annabeth herself was more than excited to go.

Going to Rome had always been a dream of hers. She had gone to Athens after she first won her title as a way to celebrate all her hard work, and that had been one of the biggest things off of her bucket list. Going to Rome was right under that.

As soon as she found out what free days they had, she would make a plan on where she wanted to go and when. She would cover the costs as well because there was no way she wanted Lupa to pay for all of that. Annabeth glanced at Piper. She would be one of her guests, and Percy had to be the other.

"If you have any questions, just let me know. I just need to know by the end of the week," Lupa said. "Other than that, we are keeping our focus on helping Annabeth and Reyna with their fights. If no one has anything to add, enjoy your breakfast."

Lupa started to walk towards the door, and Annabeth stood to follow. She passed by Reyna, who leaned over to Nico. Reyna spoke softly, "Will you be okay going back there?"

Annabeth glanced at them and watched Nico shrug. She focused her gaze back ahead and caught up with Lupa as she made it into the hallway. Lupa looked at her and smiled.

"Good morning, Annabeth. How are you?" Lupa asked.

"I'm good," Annabeth replied. "I just wanted to talk about the trip. I already know that I want Piper and Percy to be my guests."

Lupa chuckled, and a confused look came to Annabeth's face. Lupa smirked at her, "I'm sorry; I wasn't clear enough. Piper works for the gym, so she is already invited. Percy has helped everyone here spar, so I went ahead and included him as well. You still have two open slots."

Annabeth frowned and thought about it. Who else could she take? Her brothers could be a possibility, but they couldn't miss school for a week. On top of that, her father wouldn't allow them to go to another country even if it was with Annabeth.

But, she did know of someone who could use a vacation.

"Would it be possible for Percy and I to combine guests?" Annabeth questioned. "If we could, I think Percy would want to bring his mom, Paul, and Estelle. They've done so much for him and me, that I think this would be a great way of saying thanks."

"Of course," Lupa said. "If they need help with their passport, Octavian or I can help."

"Thank you, Lupa. And congratulations again," Annabeth said sincerely. Lupa nodded. "Oh, do I need to dress up for that interview?"

"Just your gym clothes would be fine," Lupa replied. "The crew is coming here for it."

Annabeth nodded. She felt her stomach twist from nerves. Interviews were not her favorite thing in the world. This wouldn't be too bad, though. Hopefully.

"I just need an hour before we start sparring," Lupa said as she looked at Annabeth.

"Of course," Annabeth agreed quickly. She had already made her game plan with Lupa, and it was to target Arachne's core with kicks and punches. Along with keeping Annabeth on her feet. If she could hurt Arachne's core, she could deplete her strength and make it easier to stop any submissions.

It would be best to avoid any kind of grappling whatsoever. Arachne was just too damn good, though. Annabeth needed to take control of the fight and stay in control of it. Arachne would be the most skilled fighter she had ever fought, but it was a challenge that she relished.

Lupa nodded to Annabeth and walked away. After a moment, Annabeth walked back into the room and looked around. Piper was talking to Nico as he had a notebook in front of him. Reyna stood near them and leaned on the counter as she drank her coffee. There was a proud look on her face as she studied Nico.

Annabeth stood next to Reyna and spoke up, "I can't believe Lupa is going to take us to Rome with her."

"It's not just you," Octavian commented. He stood behind Piper and seemed to be looking over what they were talking about. "Former fighters are also invited to come with. Gwen already agreed, and I'm sure Jason will be there as well."

Reyna tensed slightly before her eyes focused back on the coffee. Annabeth glanced at her but didn't say anything. Piper spoke, "If I can drag Jason away from work. Hopefully."

"I'm sure he can make an excuse about making business connections in Rome," Annabeth joked. Piper seemed to think about it and nodded.

"That might just work," Piper agreed. She moved her gaze to Annabeth. "Gonna bring Percy?"

"Actually, Lupa said he's already invited. I asked her if I could combine my guest spots with his, so we can bring along Sally, Paul, and Estelle," Annabeth explained.

"Percy would love that," Piper noted. Annabeth nodded her agreement. Sally had done so much for her, so she would love nothing more than to give her a vacation. "What about you, Reyna? Gonna bring your sister?"

"Yeah," Reyna replied. "And Kinzie if she'll come with."

"Hazel will come too, right?" Frank chimed in. Annabeth jumped in surprise and hadn't noticed that he had slipped back into the room.

"As long as she feels up to it, Lupa won't let her stay home," Reyna answered. She shrugged. "Are you going to bring your grandma?"

"I don't know if she would like to go," Frank admitted. He looked at Nico. "Who are you going to bring?"

Nico shrugged and didn't say a word. Annabeth could see how uncomfortable he looked, along with the frown on Reyna's face that she couldn't hide behind the coffee cup. Annabeth looked away from the two and knew she needed to change the subject.

"We're going to have to rent an entire hotel just for us," Annabeth joked.

"I'm sure the league is already renting one out," Octavian commented. Annabeth smiled at her friends. "But, don't get so focused on partying that you lose focus on your fights."

"I won't," Annabeth promised. She looked at Reyna, who met her eyes.

"Don't worry about that, Octavian. We're both focused," Reyna stated as she maintained eye contact. "And then, I'm coming for the title."
