You already know! I'm back bbys! And here with a new story lol (rip to my other stories dw tho I'm still writing them). Christmas season just rolled around the corner, so I've got y'all a Christmas special! Hope you like it!

Enjoy!

Sakura was embarrassed. Highly. Majorly. Embarrassed. Why? The last bus had just left. And she was alone. At the mall, with bags and bags of shopping materials.

"Stupid Ino!" Sakura yelled out in frustration, "Taking me shopping then leaving me here!"

Sakura felt for her pockets for her phone, opened it, and dialled her more reliable friend's number - Hinata.

"Hello?" Hinata picked up.

"Hinata! You won't believe it! I missed the bus! The bus! The last one! And now I have nowhere else to go!" Sakura complained.

"Ino left you again?I even told her not to this time-" Hinata hesitated, "You kn-know what, there's n-no problem, help is on the way!"

"Thank you!"

"No thank you," Sasuke refused.

"Why not! I can't go into the ramen shop by myself again! Tebuchi is gonna think I'm a total loser!' Naruto complained

"Ramen isn't exactly what I'd call dinner," Sasuke replied, "If you don't want to be alone, just ask Hinata to go with you, I'm sure she'd be more than willing."

"Eh?!" Naruto tried not to blush at the thought of him and Hinata... technically on a date.

"No way! No way!" Naruto denied, "You know what? Fine I'll go by myself! Just stop bringing up Hinata everytime you want me to shut up!"

"It works doesn't it?" Sasuke shrugged.

Naruto huffed and ran off to the ramen direction. As for Sasuke, he was just about ready to go home. He'd had enough of girls ogling him every second he walked today, Christmas music screeching every second in his ears. The only reason he accepted going was because he just needed more flour for bread.

Sasuke was in the parking space - also decorated by those ugly lights - when he noticed something even brighter than all the tacky lights there. Pink hair.

She didn't seem to notice him, but he did notice the multiple pairs of bags.

"Probably stupid Christmas shopping again," Sasuke groaned inwardly.

Sasuke decided to just head for his car when he saw... she was blocking it. Just his luck...

Just her luck. Hinata said she wouldn't be there for two hours. Two hours in the cold! And the mall was already closed so she couldn't stay there for warmth. Not to mention it was pretty creepy to stay in a parking lot where she could easily get kidnapped in the dark of the night. She was about to reply to Hinata's text asking her to say on a call while she waited when she heard footsteps. Scared, she pulled out her candy cane statue.

"Hey!" Sakura batted the candy cane like a baseball bat and whacked the person on the head. Or so she thought. She threatened to peek an eyes up and all that she was met with were dark orbs.

Baffled and quite embarrassed she awkwardly commented, "Nice reflexes?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes and let go of the candy cane.

"You were going to hit me with a candy cane," Sasuke narrowed his eyes - slightly in confusion.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Uchiha! I thought some creep was sneaking up behind me and-" Sakura bit her lip.

"Wouldn't be surprised if there were any creeps here so late at night," Sakura guessed he took her apology. He began walked around to his car, "So, what the hell are you even doing out here so late?"

"Worried?" Sakura asked excitedly, he gave her a dead look, and she berated herself for sounding so stupid, "I mean, I... didn't catch the bus and it was the last one..." Well that didn't make her sound any less stupid.

Trying to take the subject off of her she questioned, "How 'bout you?"

"You're in front of my car," He deadpanned.

Sakura jolted away from his car, how had she not noticed?

"Oh! I'm sorry, I'm blocking it!" She started hurriedly taking her bags away - well she was trying, there was just so much.

"Whatever, I can just go in reverse," Sasuke rolled his eyes, "Doing that is too troubling."

"Oh, okay..." Sakura sighed, a puff of cold air making smoke. She was really trying not to be annoying anymore, but everytime he was near - any attempt was fruitless.

Sakura re-stood and began waving a goodbye as he entered his car. Sasuke looked up and noticed her hand slightly shaking, the candy cane held tightly to her chest, and her smiling lips quivered.

He rolled down the window, "You're gonna get a cold."

Sakura's eyebrows raised, "hUh, no it's okay. I'm just waiting on Hinata to pick me up!"

"How long?" Sasuke furrowed his brows.

"In about 2 hours," Sakura answered as if it were no problem.

"And how the hell do you plan to stay warm in that timespan, seems long," Sasuke didn't know why he was even asking.

"I didn't really think of that!" Sakura chuckled nervously, her eyes drifting to her bags, "Oh! Maybe I'll wrap all my bags around me like a fort!"

...

Sasuke fought the urge to facepalm.

"I think I've been hanging out with Naruto too much... his ideas are rubbing off on me.." She sweat dropped "But don't worry, I'll find something to do..."

"We live on the same block. I'll give you a ride home," Sasuke offered.

"Wow! That's-" Sakura stopped herself from being too excited, "Very generous of you..."

"Do you want a ride or not," Sasuke interrupted her weird thoughts.

"Yes!" Sakura scurried to gather her bags. She began struggling. Now that she thought about it, the only way she was able to hold all of them was because Ino helped her. The weight wasn't the problem, it was the amount. Sakura winced. She didn't wanna take too many trips and make Sasuke wait long. But she also knew better than to ask for help.

"A paradox!" Inner Sakura cried.

Her hand reached for one of her bags when it suddenly ran away from her.

"Huh?!" Sakura's eyes travelled up the length of a familiar body.

"You're taking too long," Was all Sasuke said as he started picking up her bags. Sakura pursed her lips to keep from smiling hard.

Both picked up the loads of shopping bags she had. Once her hand touched Sasuke's when they both reached for the same one. Sakura's cheeks reddened and she swore Sasuke's cheeks had a dash of pink, but figured it was because of the cold.

"Thank you!" Sakura grinned once all the bags were in the trunk.

He didn't answer, only went to the front seat, opposite the driver's and opened the door.

Sakura took this as a cue to answer - proud she was able to read him.

She walked over to the back seat door and tried opening it.

"What are you doing?" Sasuke narrowed his eyes at her incredulously.

Sakura stammered, "I- uhh... Was gonna... wait, why are you going to the seat beside the drivers seat? Aren't you driving?"

"I am driving. Don't normal people sit at the front. Or do annoying people like sitting at the back," Sasuke crossed his arms in front of the open door.

"But aren't-" Sakura gasped, embarrassed, "You're opening the door for me!"

Sasuke raised a brow, Are you gonna come in?"

"Yes! Sorry!" Sakura quickly hopped into the car. She'd never had the door held for her before, and she sure didn't think that it would be from Sasuke Uchiha of all people.

The drive was going to be long, but Sakura basked in the warmth of - whatever this material the car seat was made of - and the heater. Sakura studied the inside of the car. It was very plain. Looked untouched. So untouched that it was sparkling clean. If she had her own car she knew she'd try to make it like a second home, but she didn't have the money nor did she want to spend it. Sasuke started the car and drove off.

Sakura was stiff. Stiff as can be. She was at the closest proximity she'd ever been to Sasuke Uchiha - not including the other times because those were always brief (too brief for her liking). She tried to watch other cars out the window, but her eyes kept focusing in on Sasuke Uchiha's reflection.

She whipped her head towards him, "Did you turn on the heater yet?" Sakura asked anything.

Sasuke didn't answer, just gave her a side eye, looked in another direction, then back to the road.

Sakura followed his earlier line of sight and saw that the heater was indeed on. Oops.

Sakura didn't like the silence, so once again she broke it.

"Why did you go to the mall?" Sakura tried.

"Needed flour," Sasuke stated.

"Why'd it take so long then? Unless you went to the mall late?" Sakura guessed.

"Went late. Saw Naruto. I think you can guess why I was hung up the entire time, you being best friends with Naruto and all," Sasuke said.

"Yeah, that Naruto. It's a good thing that I didn't run into him otherwise I wouldn't have gotten all my ingredients in time," Sakura laughed.

"For what?" Sasuke was interested, surprised it wasn't Christmas decorations.

"For fruitcake!" Sakura smiled.

Sasuke groaned inwardly.

"You know, the fruit cake I've given you for three years!" Sakura held up three fingers.

"How could I forget," Sasuke muttered. The car slowed to a stop at a red traffic light.

"Don't worry... I won't force you to have it this year," Sakura bit her lip.

Sasuke slightly turned his head towards her, "Good."

"What?! What do you mean good! My fruit cake tastes amazing! I'm sure others would love to have it! Especially with eggnog! Mmm... I'll tell you the recipe! Basically you need eggs, fruits- I buy them fresh, flour-"

Sakura stopped talking. Sasuke found this odd and glanced at her. She turned to stone.

Shocked, Sasuke's eyes widened a fraction and he almost scooted the car off course. He re-straightened the car and slowed it down, luckily a traffic light coming up.

"What the he-" Sasuke got interrupted by Sakura.

"I forgot the flour! And Ino is too busy to bring me! And the bus doesn't work because they're off for the weekend! And the fruitcake is an art! That means I never get it right the first time, so I always take like a week to make it! Add all that and I won't have any for Christmas!" Sakura hyperventilated.

"How did you forget a main ingredient?" Sasuke's eye twitched in annoyance.

"Ino might've sort of distracted me talking about her new boyfriend," Sakura said in defeat.

Sakura deflated onto the seat. The rest of the car ride.

Twinkling lights meant that their Christmas ecstatic street was pulling into view. The twinkling lights made Sakura feel a little better, but not enough. She'd surely feel depressed the entire time.

His car pulled into her driveway. Sakura mustered up one quick smile, "Thank you!"

Sakura opened her door and made her way to the back of the trunk. Then she struggled opening it.

"Geh! Uff!" She tried prying it.

Sasuke scoffed softly.

Sakura grimaced and then it opened.

"It's controlled by a remote," Sasuke said.

"Ohhh!" Sakura laughed weakly, "Sorry..."

He helped her bring out the rest of her bags to the door. Sakura felt sort of bad, she brought more than half and he brought whatever was left.

"Thank you!" Sakura bowed.

"Hn," Sasuke nodded, walking back to his car. He felt silly having to drive to his driveway just across the street. He would've parked it in his lot, but that would be too diffiuclt for Sakura to carry all those bags over and over.

Sakura smiled, watching Sasuke drive across to his driveway and get out. He didn't turn around, so she couldn't wave goodbye. She shoved all her bags into her kitchen, taking out their contents. The milk, the fresh fruits, the flour-

Wait. The hand stopped midair. The flour? She had remembered it? Then her eyes caught sight of a sticky note attached. Sakura's eyes widened, overtaken with glee.

The note read,

I don't mind the fruitcake.
