Crosshairs POV
We had a great time together; Lightning was happy to spend time alone with me. I knew she'd want to stay a little while at the campground. Three weeks with my sister has been great...
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Lightning yells, seeing Jamie.
First mistake; not warning Drift we're on our way home. Second mistake; one of my guns is missing from my holster. I watch Lightning pull it from her leg holster. Drift is terrified and unsure what to do.
"I TOLD YOU STAY THE FRAG AWAY FROM HERE!"

Jamie POV
Fuck I can't believe she'd do it, but Crosshairs would get in the way. Fine, let's deal with this once and for all.
"I love you, goodbye," I mumble to Drift before getting up and walking towards Lightning.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Drift yells.
"JAMIE NO! THERE'S A BETTER WAY!" Prime yells.
Lighting runs towards me; I hear the gunshots before falling to the ground. I hear voices but can't make out what is going on. It's not long before everything goes black.

Drift POV
No, this can't be happening.
"NO!" I try to run to her, but Bee and Hot Rod stop me. I can't believe Lightning is smiling.
My girl is dead.

Crosshairs POV
I can't believe she did it. I watch Drift pass out; Bee and Hot Rod lay him on the floor as Cade and Hound rush to get Jamie to the barn. I have no idea what to do; yell at my sister, go with them to help with Drift and Jamie.
"Go with them, I'll deal with Lightning," Prime tells me.
Bee, Hot Rod, and I carry Drift to his room. There's no way we'd be allowed to go to the barn.

Optimus Prime POV
"What the frag are you thinking?!" I scold.
"Taking care of a problem that's ruining my perfect reunion with my brother!"
"Instead of talking to him? You should have talked to him, then you would have known...now it's probably too late."
I go upstairs; hoping Drift is awake.

Rangeblade POV
I'm sorry, Crosshairs; I'd rather you be mad at me for showing Lightning, but I should have shown her sooner.
"Come with me!" I demand, taking Lightning's hand and taking her up to Crosshairs' room.

"I should have shown you this even if Crosshairs would have been pissed at me," I explain as I find the picture, hoping Crosshairs didn't delete it. I finally find it, "this is the dream Crosshairs had."
I open the picture; Lightning is shocked at Crosshairs' Photoshop work.
Lightning sits at the desk and cries.

Drift POV
I realize I'm in my room, thinking it must have been a dream until I see Bee, Crosshairs, Hot Rod, and Prime round the bed. Crosshairs sits me up and hugs me. Even if I'm embarrassed to cry in front of the others; I can't keep myself from crying.

A few minutes pass before I let go of Crosshairs; tears still rolling down my face. In time for Lightning to come in right into Crosshairs' arms.
"I'm sorry," she sobs.
We're all confused; how did she go from being pleased Jamie is dead to bawling?
"I'm sorry," Rangeblade apologizes as she stands by Crosshairs, "I-I showed her your Photoshop work..."
She passes out from fear. Hot Rod lays her on my bed.
I know Crosshairs didn't threaten her not to show her the image, but it's no surprise she's still afraid of him.

Crosshairs POV
I watch Prime go to my room to see what Rangeblade is talking about. I have a feeling I'll be getting a lecture about telling Lightning sooner. She was furious; I thought she wouldn't listen if I showed her. Though she was furious today, and now she's bawling on me. Rangeblade is right; I should have told Lightning sooner.
What a fragging disaster.
Rangeblade wakes up five minutes later and tries to comfort Drift. Lightning is calming down, but she's likely going to be traumatized.

Optimus Prime POV
This is not what I had in mind to deal with some issues we must deal with. Unfortunately, Jamie is right thinking Crosshairs would take the bullet for her, but unless Crosshairs is shot in the heart; all that would happen is his holoform would be damaged. We'd likely have to program a new one, but he'd be ok. I debate on getting everyone to the barn to say goodbye before Jamie disappears from this dimension, or keeping them away.

With the others unaware, I go to the barn; dreading what I may see.
Cade and Hound sit on chairs, covered in blood and unhappy.
This can't be good...
