Chapter 4: Gifting this Noble Daughter with Perversion

=============================={ Part 1: Dress-up }============================

RING-LING

"Welcome to Snoochui's Girl's Quest Attire; can I help you?"

The voice of the girl behind the counter; the way she sounded, made me think of a snooty valley girl.

"Um... yes, I'm here to buy some new Adventurer's garments for myself."

Said Yunyun shyly.

"Well, obviously honey. Why else would you be coming in here for?"

She then turns her attention to me and gives me a look over.

"Excuse me, sir. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to stay outside. In case you didn't see the sign outside; this establishment is for girls ONLY."

Yunyun, to my surprise; grabs onto me; maybe because this weird shop keep was making her nervous.

"Please, can he stay in here and help me find some new clothes? I promise he'll be on his best behavior."

The girl smacks her lips; for some weird reason.

If this were back on Earth; I would say her action would be that of chewing on gum, blowing a big bubble, then making it pop.

"Hm... OK, I personally don't mind. If anyone else shows up though, you'll need to pretend to be a very ugly looking girl; comprende?"

"Um... Yeah, sure... I guess..."

"Terrific, terrific, now tell me honey. Why are you looking to change your look? Let me get a good look at cha's."

Yunyun was nervous; looking at me for support to which I give her a nod... a hesitant nod that is.

She then removes her cloak, showing off her current Adventurer's attire.

"Oh honey, honey, honey; at the risk of losing a sale here. Why would you want to change that look fer? It seems to suit you well and I have no doubt your boyfriend finds it easy on the old eyes too.".

"B-B-B-Boyfriend? Ma'am, I think you misunderstood our relationship here. He isn't my..."

"You're pimp then? Or maybe just a friend with plenty of benefits? Perhaps he's your brother... with benefits who pimps you out to himself and himself alone? Hm, I wonder which it is?"

The devious smirk on the shop keeps face said that she was having a field day with Yunyun.

Speaking of, Yunyun was becoming so red faced that I worried she would pass out or melt from overheating on me.

She then looks at me with a knowing smile.

"Actually ma'am, we're just comrades and friends here. Though the two of us upgrading to being BF/GF status isn't something I'd be completely against. The whole friends with benefits or being her honorary brother with potential benefits isn't completely out of the question with me either."

"KAZUMA, THIS ISN'T FUNNY..."

Cried Yunyun loudly as she buries her face into her hands.

The shop keep then laughs; making us both look at her.

"Oh honey, don't go fretting over my teasing; I was just messing with you two. Seriously though, why do you need the change fer? It seems an alright outfit for a girl with your... assets."

I give Yunyun a look at ask 'do you want to tell her or should I?'

Her eyes tell me to take the lead, possibly fearing that anything she says will only result in more teasing from the shop keep.

"Well ma'am, it's like this. As I'm sure you've noticed by now, my friend here is a rather shy and reserved girl; one who has trouble speaking her mind. These clothes, having been chosen for her originally by a pervert with zero shame to his name, doesn't quite suite her needs here. Rather, it honestly sends the wrong message to people if you ask me."

The shop keep cocks her head; probably thinking 'it seems alright to me.'

I then decide to add in-

"And she's technically only thirteen here was well."

"OOHHH, that makes a bit more sense to me now. I was thinking she was probably seventeen or something. You know there, honey, you are quite the lucky gal, ain't-cha? Being so young yet having already achieved such a sexy bod like yours. Makes us other girls quite jealous, it does..."

Yunyun then tries to hide herself behind me as she meekly says-

"... I'm sorry; I can't help it. I'm a Crimson Demon and all us clan girls start developing early and we develop very fast; usually reaching physical maturity between fourteen and sixteen."

Wait, did I just hear Yunyun correctly right now?

Do all Crimson Demon girls her age really look more like her than Megumin?

I just figured Yunyun's... developments were another difference shared with others from the clan.

If this new information is indeed correct; then maybe Megumin really is a late bloomer?

I'll need to ask Yunyun about this discovery here in a bit, before we get back to the mansion.

"Don't fret the set there, honey. We all do as we all do here. Now then, go take a look around and see if ya can find something more befitting of your you."

We both then begin to browse the isles of clothing; allowing me to see some... interesting attire on display.

In fact, it was looking 'very interesting' indeed.

"Say ma'am, I know the shops name says that this is a Girl's Quest Attire, but may I ask exactly what kind of quest they'd be expected to go on?"

"Hm? Oh, we service all kinds of quest, pachi. Actual Adventurer's; fancy dinners and balls... special night raids young lovers may want to indulge with one another. Basically, if a girl has any kind of need to be fulfilled, they can find it all right here."

Good to know, I guess.

Then this must be the 'night raid' section then.

"Kazuma, Kazuma..."

"Dressing up this Darling routine Kazuma here."

Yunyun either ignored, or didn't fully hear me, as I turn to look at her holding something up for me.

I walk over and examine it, then I shake my head.

"My gut is telling me that its still a little to flashy... say, what about this one?"

I reach out and pull out a set I had spied from the corner of my right eye.

Yunyun takes a hold of it and looks it over.

"Is it OK if I try this on?"

"Sure; go ahead honey. Changing room is back over there."

Yunyun runs into the changing room and closes the curtain behind here.

As I wait outside, the shop keep leaves the counter and comes to stand beside me.

After a few more moments; she yells out-

"Say, you doing OK in there, honey?"

After a brief pause, Yunyun yells back.

"Yeah, I'm doing fine. Um... does your product adjust its size to meet the needs of the person wearing it?"

"Of course it does, honey. It helps to stay to the 'one size fits all' monicker we pride ourselves with having here."

So, in other words, everything sold in here has some sort of magical enchantment to it?

I wonder if all clothing in this world works like that?

I feel the shop keeps eyes on me so I turn to see her giving me a mischievous smile.

"Tell me, honey, should I send your... boy who's a friend in to help you? Since it's still just the three of us in here, I wouldn't mind if the two of you had a little private show and tell so long as you promise to clean up the mess after."

She then looks at me; seeing my surprised expression, and add-

"What? I like to live vicariously through my customers from time to time. Nothing wrong with that."

You know, I'm really starting to like this woman.

I should see about bringing the other girls around here from time to time.

You know, for... the friendly service we'd get from her and all.

I then realize Yunyun hadn't said anything in response to her words either.

I hoped she hadn't suffered an embarrassment shutdown in there.

Before I could call out to Yunyun; to ask her how she's doing, the curtain opens and she steps out.

I had to admit; the outfit I chose for her really suited her to a 'T'.

She was now wearing a black, long sleeved top that fit her frame quite well; her neck was also covered.

She had on baggy looking shorts that reached partially down to her knees and a belt that hung a little off kilter at her waist , not unlike how Megumin's belt often looked.

And she had lavender colored leggings that reached up just past her knees; leaving just a small amount of skin visible between the legging and the pink colored shorts.

Finally, she was wearing black laced travel boots that reached halfway to her knees.

She had a deep blush on her cheeks as she shyly asked-

"Well, what do you think... Kazuma?"

"I-I-I think you look great, much better than your previous outfit."

"I agree..."

Said the shop keep though she is quick to add in-

"... though, if I'm being honest here; I feel there is something missing. Her top does still show off her assets way more than I think she'd be all comfy with. Maybe throw in a jacket or something like...?"

"A jacket, huh?"

I said, as I look around and quickly spot something that could work.

"How about this then?"

I then hand Yunyun the sleeveless jacket, or was it a vest?

She the puts on the lavender colored item and zips it up.

"Oh yes, that does it all much better and it gels well with the look to. Right pachi?"

I nod in agreement as, with the sleeveless jacket zipped up, it would be a lot harder to notice that Yunyun was a very well endowed girl.

"I think it looks perfect. What about you, Yunyun? Since its going to be YOUR new look, you should make the final call here."

Yunyun nods as she turns to a mirror and checks herself out.

She then unzips it and re-zips back up, just to add in some additional observations to her new garments.

She also slides on her cloak; checking to see if it also looks good with her new look, smiling at what she sees.

"I really like it too. I'll take it..."

A few minutes later, we exit the shop as Yunyun checks to make sure her short sword and Adventurer's pouch were firmly attached to her belt.

"You know, I could have paid for that if you wanted me to."

Yunyun shakes her head then says-

"Thank you, but that wasn't necessary seeing as I had enough already. And besides, you need to focus your money on clearing that debt you're under."

"Oh yeah, good point..."

A though then crosses my mind.

"Say, Yunyun. Just in case you're you've wondered if I asked you to join us just because I wanted more help to shoulder that debt I'm dealing with; just know that the thought never crossed my mind. I would never ask someone to do that... though I guess I should have thought of that before asking you to..."

Yunyun stops me by taking hold of my hand and squeezing it gently.

"I know, Kazuma, I know. And thank you for asking me to join you when you did. I don't want to think of what I would be doing now if you hadn't."

I smile as I return the squeeze.

Yunyun, you really are to precious for this world, ya know.

After a moment, we both realize we had been holding hands for a fair bit and quickly let go.

"So... ready to head back and show the others you're new look? Megumin should be up by now."

When we had left the mansion earlier, only me, Yunyun, and Cielo had been awake as Megumin had probably partied a little to hard the night before.

"Sounds good to me... oh, can we make a slight stop as we go...?"

Not long after, we had left Axel and had reached the turn off to the mansion when Yunyun finally said this was as good a spot as any.

She then places her old Adventurer's attire onto the ground, takes a few steps back, then point at the attire with her mage wand.

"Energy Ignition."

Immediately, a ball of fire shoots from her wand; making her old gear burst into flames.

We both watch as her old attire quickly goes up in flames before I turn to Yunyun and say-

"Are you sure about this? I mean, how you currently feel aside, it was your you for a few months. I'm sure you must have some good memories connected to it?"

"Memories yes, good... not so much. Besides, this is all a new beginning for me and I don't want to be shackled down by my past sadness."

Once her old attire was nothing but ash on the snow, she says-

"Well, what are we still doing standing around for? Let's hurry up and get back home."

Heh, she was sounding more confident already.

I nod as we turn to continue our walk when-

"Kazuma, Kazuma, is that you. Hold on a minute. I need to talk with you right now. It's important."

We both stop and look back; seeing a well dressed young woman... with a giant ass rack that looked like it would fall out of her dangerously revealing top at any moment come running towards us.

Once she reaches us, she stops and takes a moment to catch her breath.

"Um... I'm sorry, but who are you, ma'am?"

I asked, getting her to jerk back into fully standing again.

"What the hell are you talking about, Kazuma. It's me, can't you tell. Come on Megumin, surely... you? Holy hell, you certainly went through a growth spurt over the short time I was gone."

Wait, this high class and, between me and myself here, slutty looking noble lady...

Could she really be...?

"Um... ma'am, I'm sorry but I think you have me confused with someone else. My name is Yun..."

"You know, a young woman like yourself shouldn't be out here walking around dressed like that. You shouldn't even be dressed like that in town either. What if you ran into a pack of horny male orcs? They'd have zero trouble shredding those clothes and ravaging you until your mind, body, and heart were broken."

"Kazuma, what are you saying to her? And besides, everyone knows make orcs are all..."

Yunyun stops as she hears the woman before us give out a shriek of a moan; hugging herself tightly as she begins to pant like a dog.

"I knew it... it's you, Darkness..."

==========================={ Part 2: Arrangement }===========================

"Hey, freeloaders, we're back and we have our missing stray in tow..."

I shouted as the the three of us entered the mansion.

Cielo was the first to appear, saying-

"Kazuma, care to explain what you mean by... Darkness? Hey, Megumin, Darkness is back."

Cielo begins to run forward only to be sent spinning 'round like a top' as Megumin darts past her in a blur; giving Darkness a tight hug.

"Darkness, you're back. We... sniff we we're so worried about you?"

Hearing that, I cock my head to one side as I was quick to point out-

"Were we though? Thinking back on it; did the three of us, at any point, ever bring up being worried about her even once after she had left?"

For that question; I receive a swift smack to the back of my head, by way of a broom handle brought down upon me by Cielo.

"Of course we were worried, Kazuma. At least me and Megumin were."

Hm, must have happened off screen from me as I sure as heck can't recall either of you bringing her up even once.

Cielo walks over to Darkness, who was still being hugged by Megumin.

She then places a hand onto Darkness's fancy, and rather revealing in the chest area, dress.

"Wow, this is made from some rather expensive materials, huh?"

She said absentmindedly as she rubbed the sleeve of the dress between her thumb and fingers.

Megumin, meanwhile, had finally let go of Darkness before running back into the living room only to return a few moments later with Chomusuke in hand.

Darkness was quick to take notice of this and asked-

"Megumin, is that a cat you have there?"

"That's right. Her name is Chomusuke; she's my familiar. Is it OK if she stays with us? Kazuma and Cielo have already said it was but I wanted to check with you, if only to make sure you weren't allergic or anything."

Darkness shakes her head, saying-

"No, it's fine. Having more faces to come home to is a good thing, after all. Makes us feel more like a family here."

Her words makes Cielo realize something as she smacks a fist into an open palm.

"Which reminds me, Darkness. We have another new member too; Yunyun here though I'm guessing you two have already met."

"Correct; out along the path here to the mansion. She was with Kazuma when I ran into them."

"With Kazuma...?"

Said Megumin as she looks at me and Yunyun suspiciously.

She then takes notice of Yunyun's new look and shouts out.

"Yunyun, wait. You're actually wearing new clothes... that actually makes you look normal and not like some easy girl looking for a good time. Did you and Kazuma go shopping earlier while I was still asleep?"

Cielo also finally takes notice, saying-

"Yunyun, you look great with that new look you're sporting. Tell me, where did you get it from?"

Yunyun blushes shyly at their reactions.

"I'll tell you both later; maybe even take you by there too when we next go out."

Megumin and Cielo quickly nod as they look back at Darkness.

Anna then appears, floating beside Darkness is she leans in close and says to her-

"Oh Darkness. You really missed out on some super fun good times while you were away. Get this; while you were out, Cielo and Megumin got all 'hotty naughty' with our Kazuma here in the bath. Not only did they give him an amazing showing with their naked bods; but after they knocked his ass out, by way of some super fast fist to the face action; you'll never guess what they did to him next..."

Darkness immediately turns to Anna, demanding that she tell her everything NOW!

Megumin and Cielo, meanwhile, start freaking out as they try to stop Anna.

Yunyun; also starts freaking out at the thought I may have been involved in something super dirty-

So she quickly gets closer too so she could also hear what Anna was going to reveal-

As did I, to be honest, as the words I shouted out said it all in that moment-

"I knew it, I knew something funny had gone down after I went under. The way you two had been acting was way more than what one would think two girls would act from just seeing a naked guy. Anna, tell us what those perverts did right now. I want answers, dammit."

Anna responds by laughing happily as we all started to chase her around the mansion; though some of us had different reasons than others did.

This whole back and forth between all of us went on for a good while before we had finally calmed down; retreating the the living room so we could rest and move on to more relevant topics.

"OK everyone; let's put aside the... incident for now and focus on a more pressing issue."

Offered Cielo; getting a quick nod from Megumin.

Me, Darkness, and Yunyun felt very differently about that and I was about to voice that sentiment when Megumin jumps in and says the words that forces the change in subject matter-

"I agree. So Darkness, want to tell us about what happened after you left the other day?"

"Yeah, how did the meeting you and your father had with Aldarp go anyways?"

Quickly added Cielo.

"It went better than expected... I guess. He and my father talked for a bit about recent events; seeing as they had been childhood friends and all. On that note, and just so you don't have to ask me later, they were indeed good friends growing up though father has told me that in recent years; Aldarp has begun to act differently. Apparently; the man Aldarp is today is nothing like the Aldarp my father was friends with in his youth. Almost like they are two different people who simply have the same exact name."

"Anything of interest that they talked about?"

I asked; getting a nod in response.

"I brought up the question, to Aldarp, about which of his mansions was destroyed. Curiously, he was quick to deflect the question and in doing so, never answered it. Both me and father took notice though so we decided to drop the subject; to not pursue it with him. Instead, my father is looking into that matter himself as Aldarp, being a tier three noble which is the lowest rank, can only own three mansions total by kingdom law. His family's personal estate in the capital is one, the governor's mansion here in Axel counts as two even though he doesn't actually own it, so that means it had to be the third mansion... assuming he actually owned a third at any point."

"Do you think he may have lied about having a mansion destroyed?"

Asked Megumin; getting a shrug from Darkness.

"Hard to say. I have a feeling he wasn't lying about the coronatite exploding CLOSE to his mansion; perhaps to close for his liking. Given all the rumors going around about him; I doubt he would have made such a claim without probable reason as it can only take one goof on his part to bring him to ruin now."

"Agreed; the more lucky a person is in life; the greater the chance you'll eventually run out of said luck if you push it to far."

Says Anna.

"We can only hope where he's concerned. Anyways, Darkness; what did he ask of you during that meeting? You said you'd honor any one request from him so long as it was within your ability to do. Did you give him the Lalatina special by any... urk..."

I didn't get to finish as Darkness was on top of me in a split second; choking the life out of me.

"I told you what would happen if you said THAT name again, Kazuma."

She screamed as the others worked to get her off of me.

After another few moments for everything to cool down, Darkness says-

"To answer your question; no he didn't ask me to give him anything special. He wouldn't have the guts to do something like that, especially with my father in the room. Instead, he asked me to hold a meeting with his son, Walther, in the hopes that I would take him as my husband."

"EH?"

The rest of us shout in unison as Darkness pulls out a picture of this Walther.

We then lean in close to better check out the rather hansom looking guy.

"Wow, he's rather gorgeous and easy on the eyes."

Said Anna.

"I feel he could easily cure me of my Androphobia easily..."

Adds Cielo.

"I wouldn't mind sharing an 'Explosion' with him sometime."

Megumin tosses in; the three of them then looking at me, probably wanting to gauge my reaction to their words.

I take the picture from Darkness to give it a closer look.

"Hm, hard to believe a guy that looks like this could have been spawned by that fat assed pug?"

The girls words from just a moment before finally click in my head and I respond the only way I could-

By ripping the picture in half; then tossing it into the fireplace and watching it burn with glee.

"I'll be damned, Kazuma did become jealous after all?"

"Hah, I knew he cared about us more than he lets on."

Cielo and Megumin say before they high five each other.

Damn, now why did I go doing that?

I just gave those two more ammunition to use against me.

Pushing that though out of my mind for now, I turn back to Darkness and ask-

"So, what happens now? How did that meeting between you and Walther even go?"

"Actually, that's the reason I came back now. The meeting is in two days and I was wanting you there with me, Kazuma. I need you're help to ruin it so I don't have to marry that guy."

Yunyun, who had been quiet the whole time, finally chimes in and ask-

"But if Kazuma does that; won't that make your father think poorly of him; as well as damage your family's good name?"

Darkness waves off Yunyun's concern; saying-

"I'll tell my father that I forced Kazuma to do it; that it was a personal favor to me. And as far as my family's name goes? I really don't care. I've never been happy with living the life of a noble. Being out here; living as an Adventurer... that's the life for me. My true calling..."

"But wasn't it thanks to your family's good name that saw Kazuma saved that day in the courtroom?"

Asked Cielo; her words sobering up Darkness's gleeful look.

I sigh as I reach over and place a hand on Darkness's shoulders.

"Cielo's right; we can't just go damaging the good name of house Dustiness here. If I'm going to be helping you; it has to be in a way that will preserve your family's name for the future."

"But how can we do that, Kazuma?"

Asked Yunyun.

After a moment to think about it, I say-

"The marriage meeting is going to happen no matter what, right? So, I say you go ahead and attend it as planned, just make yourself seem as uninteresting as possible to that guy but do it in a way that won't hurt your family in the process. I'm guessing that's why you want me along, right? To help you achieve that with my quick thinking within any given moment."

Darkness eyes begins to shine as she leaps to her feet.

"Yes, that's what I was hoping you'd say, Kazuma. With you and your dirty, underhanded tactics on my side, I know I can pull this off. And maybe if I'm lucky, I can get a reprieve from all this arranged marriage drama father keeps forcing onto me and I won't have to keep beating him up after each one."

Darkness then begins to cackle at the thought.

I meanwhile, wonder what ever she could be inferring to when she said 'dirty, underhanded tactics'?

"Wow, I really feel sorry for her father if what she said was true."

Said Cielo to Yunyun who gave her a nod in response.

"Looks like we're going on a road trip then. How long do we have to pack, anyways?"

Asked Megumin, getting Darkness to calm down and look at her.

"Actually, I was just planning on Kazuma coming with me here. I'll need the rest of you to remain in Axel and take care of 'other matters' for us while we're gone."

"EHH?"

Cried both Megumin and Cielo.

Yunyun, meanwhile, ask-

"Why do you need us to stay back here in Axel?"

Darkness holds up two fingers as Megumin and Cielo calm down and look at her.

"Two reasons. One, I need you guys here in case Sena comes a-calling while we're out. If all of us are gone and she comes around; she'll assume we made a run for it which will only hurt Kazuma here. If she does pop up, tell her he was taken to Malyais by lady Dustiness; which is were my family's private home is located and is the be the place the meeting will be held at."

"The other reason is related to Kazuma's debt. To help him out, my father has sent a petition here to the Axel branch of the Guild; requesting as many Winter Wolf pelts that can be obtained. He's offering fifty thousand eris per pelt and seeing as they can be found in large numbers at this time; it seemed like a good quest for you all. Even more so now that Yunyun has joined us as well."

"So, you want us to do the heavy lifting while you and Kazuma get to take it easy with your family?"

"Yeah, that does seem a little unfair when you think about it."

Said Megumin and Cielo.

"Like we'll have a chance to be taking anything here easy you two. Trying to make sure we don't lose Darkness and maybe seeing if her father can do anything to help change the justice system around the kingdom to boot. You're right, I guess, that is rather easy."

"And besides, don't the two of you still feel like you owe me one for what happened that day when Sena came for me anyways?"

I pointed out, making them sigh then nod in agreement.

"I hate to ask; but what exactly did happen during Kazuma's incarceration and trial anyways? All I know is that he's been accused of being a Devil King loyalist and owes a massive debt to Axel's current lord."

Asked Yunyun; to which Megumin responds.

"We'll tell you everything later. And I do mean everything, Kazuma."

She quickly adds after I gave her a look.

"You better as I plan on grilling Yunyun when we get back; just to make sure you two didn't leave ANYTHING out in the telling."

Darkness then looks at them and said-

"You just need to go down to the Guild hall and talk to Luna; she give you the full details on the Quest me and father commissioned. Remember, there's no limit on how many pelts we need. The more you can obtain, the better."

The three of the nod then Darkness turns back to me and says-

"OK Kazuma, go get your things together. I have my family's carriage awaiting us over at the south gate."

=============================={ Part 3: Butler }==============================

I took a moment to gaze out the back window of the carriage; seeing the walls that protected Axel, as well as the south gate, fading rapidly as we moved swiftly away.

It had still left an impression on me; the Dustiness family's carriage.

I had seen other carriages coming and going, and waiting, at the official transport depot here in Axel.

None of them looked nowhere near as nice as this one did.

This here was a FANCY carriage; the sort you'd only see in the history books, used by the royal family's of places like England and France.

What amazed me even more was just how swiftly we were moving too.

I return to sitting; looking at Darkness who was sitting opposite me and asked-

"So, how long till we reach your family's private home? I'm guessing we'll need to make a stop off somewhere for the night?"

"Actually, baring any unforeseen events happening, we should get there by evening."

I did a double take from her words.

Was the city her family's private home located in really so close to Axel?

Perhaps sensing my thoughts, Darkness adds-

"It's not as close as you may be thinking it is, Kazuma. Usually, going by normal carriage; the trip would take a full day's worth of travel. Three to four days if you walked the whole way. But, one of the advantages to being a Noble, one I am thankful for, is that I can make use of our fastest horses to get us from point A to point B very quickly."

I nod; giving her an impressed whistle.

That was handy to have available, indeed.

Still though-

"Would be even nicer if we could just teleport straight there and back. We could have just stayed back in Axel with the others and helped out with that Quest your father made for us then we could have all gone together for the marriage meeting and been back home in time for dinner."

I wonder if I should register our destination, once we get there as a fast travel point?

"That would be nice indeed. If only this whole thing could have waited just three months more; then we could have made use of Axel's Teleportation Station that's currently being built."

I blink as I ask her to explain what she meant.

"Oh, I guess you haven't heard about it yet. Earlier this year, a group of mages finally succeeded in creating a Mass-Teleportation stone; a little bit larger than this carriage in size. With these stones, it's possible to create Teleportation Stations in every major city in Belzerg that will make travel anywhere in the kingdom fast and easy; to say nothing of cheap too."

"Wow, that does sound impressive. Shame it will put the carriage form of transport out of business."

Darkness shakes her head, saying-

"That's not going to be an issue, at least for a while yet. The number of Mass-Teleportation stones that exist is still limited and are currently only planned to be placed in the bigger city's here in the kingdom. It's going to take years to get them set up everywhere and that's just here in Belzerg alone. To get every city and village on the continent; to say nothing of the whole world, will take longer than any of us will be alive to see."

I nod my understanding as things return to being quiet for the moment.

I find myself wondering if I should go ahead and bring up a certain subject with Darkness now or not?

"You know, this is kinda nice... in it's own way."

"What do you mean?"

I asked her; being pulled from my thoughts.

"Spending time together, just the two of us. Wait, don't take that the wrong way, Kazuma. I'm not trying ti imply anything perverted here. It's just..."

"It's just what exactly?"

I asked her; dragging the 'wah' out to make it sound as suggestive as possible.

This makes her blush before making a pouty face when she realizes I was teasing her.

After a moment to calm down, she finally says-

"The two of us are the oldest; with me being the older and you just two years younger. The others are all around three years our juniors. As such, it sometimes feels like we're babysitting them; know what I mean? Don't tell Megumin or Cielo I said that, though."

I nod before bursting out into a little chuckle.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. They're cute kids to be sure; cute kids... with some serious issues. Especially the big kid who can't help herself but let her inner perv out at every possible chance she can."

"How dare you, Kazuma. As if you're one to talk with all that you do when you think I'm not looking or when I'm not around."

The two of us then begin to butt heads for a moment; then we start laughing happily.

You're not wrong, Darkness, this is pretty nice, isn't it.

"By the way, I am sorry, Kazuma."

"For what?"

"When I came back; my original plan had been to have you find a way to get me out of even attending this meeting to begin with."

"Was that even an option? I mean, if it was then there was nothing stopping you from just not showing up for it to begin with."

"Yeah, you're right about that. I could have easily done that, no problem. But if I had, then there was nothing stopping Aldarp from doing whatever it was he did to control Sena and the judge from resending your stay of execution and ending you immediately."

Yeah, that would be bad for me, alright.

"On that subject, Darkness. There's something I need to discuss with you. In truth, I should be discussing with ALL of you together; but I want to start with just you first as I have a good idea on how the others will act. I know you won't like this either but at least you have enough mental maturity to understand the why behind my thoughts here."

Hearing the serious tone I had adopted, Darkness nods as she awaits me to continue.

"First, I want to say that I have given this matter a lot of thought and I do mean A LOT. As of right now, we have a little over twenty days left for me to prove my innocence. By the time we make it back to Axel; it'll probably be seventeen or so days left. As much as I want to believe that I... that we all will find a way to prove my innocence, we have to consider the possibility that we'll fail and, in the event that does happen, what we'll do in that worst case scenario."

"I take it you have an idea in mind then, Kazuma."

I nod then say-

"I do but I know you aren't going to like it."

"Let's hear it then..."

"In the case of that worst case scenario, I'll want you to take Megumin, Yunyun, and Cielo away from Axel and go to the Crimson Demon Village. Once there, you all should be safe from Aldarp and whatever treachery he may have in store for you."

"But why would we need to hide, Kazuma? The laws of the kingdom won't allow him to transfer your debt onto us; especially as that matter has already been decreed by the court here."

"Perhaps you failed to take notice back there that day; but Aldarp was looking at you all in a way that actually scares me... excluding Megumin that is. I believe Megumin will be safe from him but the rest of you; including Chris, well... his expressions implied less than honorable interest."

Darkness was quiet for a moment before saying-

"That power he used that day; the power that controlled the words and actions of the judge and prosecutor, as well as all of us... do you think he'd use that to control us again and make us into his personal slaves?"

I nod.

"I'm sure you've heard ALL the rumors going around. I was trying to ignore them before; given the hypocrisy of believing rumors about someone without knowing them first when that was being done to me by the masses. However, following the events of that day; I no longer have any doubt about the truth of those rumors. If he does have a power to control others; then he would definitely use it for his own benefits and pleasures."

"You're right. A man such as he; perhaps any man who had such a power at his disposal, would use it without question."

After a pause, I continued-

"Anyways, I want you to take them there; both for their protection and your's as well. Chris too, if you can swing it. I was talking to Wiz the other day; mainly about her selling items I was recreating from my home land. Before I left, I brought up the Crimson Demons and she told me that they all have high resistance to magic manipulation. Even if one was able to control a Crimson Demon, it would only be for a short time and after several uses, they would eventually become immune to being controlled from that particular method."

"So, you'll want them to be there as, with so many Crimson Demons around, it would be next to impossible for Aldarp to control us; no matter how strong his manipulation power is."

I nod again before adding-

"In addition to that; Wiz also told me that the Crimson Demon Village has a powerful magic barrier surrounding it. If anyone tries to use anything magic related within the village, or even tries to control someone inside the village from the outside it; everyone would know and if deemed to be a threat, would deal with it at once. She said even Curse class magicks would be detected making the barrier essentially impossible to get around."

"I see; that would make it a good hiding spot to keep us all safe. But what if he sent someone into the village to try to kidnap any of us and take us outside the barrier's range of effect before controlling us?"

"I asked Wiz that as well. She said if you warn the Crimson Demons upon arriving, they can strengthen the barrier so it can also detect the presence of anyone entering that's already being controlled. Hell, they may even be able to 'tag' all of you so that they can be alerted if any of you leave the barrier without prior knowledge or remain gone to long if given."

Darkness nods; then begins to think on my words.

"And also... if things do end up going into that worst case scenario, then I don't want you all to be there when... when my head goes to roll. Not only because of what the sight would do to you all, but also because that could be the very moment Aldarp would make his move against all of you."

"And there's also the fact we'd make a scene if we were around too, huh?"

I chuckle as I look at Darkness, saying-

"Yeah, there's that too. Megumin especially would do something rather rash. It is her, after all."

"But what about you? We can't just leave you to die, Kazuma."

"Believe it or not, I have a plan in place. Several actually but if any of them are to have any chance at succeeding, I will need you all to NOT be there, otherwise I'll be afraid of getting you all caught in the crossfire. If my plans succeeds, then I'll meet you all at the Crimson Demon Village where we can plan our next move. If not... then I'll at least know you be safe. Well, safer than you all would be if you stayed back in Axel."

"Care to share with me your plans then?"

I shake my head.

"Not now. I'll tell you the night before if it comes to that; while we're working with Wiz to get you all out."

"Wiz is going to help us? What will her role be?"

I hold out two fingers.

"One, the day before my final day, she teleport both me and herself to the Crimson Demon Village so I can register it as a fast travel point. And then, that night, we can both use teleport to get everyone there quickly. Two, she'll also use that powerful sleep spell she knows to knock the others out; hopefully for a full day or maybe even two so that they won't try anything."

"If it comes to that, they may hate you even if you do manage to survive and join us later."

"They may come to hate all three of us; you, me, and Wiz. I can live with that; knowing that they're safe. Can you?"

"Yes, I can live with that. So long as my friends and family are safe, I can live with any shame or humiliation."

After that, things were quiet for a while; me debating if I should bring up that other topic or wait until I could speak with everyone about it, including Chris once she returns.

As for Darkness; I'm sure she was mulling over my words, perhaps trying to think of an even better option than what I had suggested to her.

As the sun started to set off on the horizon, I could make out our destination fast approaching.

Finally; these long carriage rides were murder on my poor butt, even if the seats were comfy.

Once we had reached the Dustiness private home; Darkness escorted me inside quickly.

"By the way, should I still call you Darkness inside or should I call you..."

"Darkness will be fine until the meeting, Kazuma. My father knows about my Adventurer alias, even though he wishes I had chosen something less... dark sounding."

As we entered the large estate, I couldn't help but let out a whistle at the size and majesty of it all.

Hell, just the entry chamber alone was bigger than half the mansion we were living in back in Axel.

A moment later; an older man appeared from another room and quickly approached us.

"Milady, where ever have you been. Your father has been worried about you, ever since you left so suddenly late into the night."

I look at Darkness and ask-

"Let me guess; you snuck out without telling anyone?"

Darkness looks at me sheepishly as she replies-

"I-well, I did leave a note in my room."

"Which said, and I quote 'Going out for a bit; need a bit of fresh air and exercise. Will be back soon so don't worry about me.' We then find one of the carriages as well as two of your fathers best horses missing. He feared you went on another one of your 'risk racing' adventures again."

"Risk Racing?"

I asked her.

"Yeah... back when I was younger, before I developed my current... hobby, I was a bit of a thrill seeker. Like seeing just how close I could get to the side of a cliff before turning away; narrowly avoiding a fall that would have killed me. Jumping out into the middle of a stampede to see if they would trample me or if I or they would chicken out first. You know, stuff like that."

"There are so many things wrong with you, girl."

I said in a deadpan tone; one that she replies to with a smirk.

I had a feeling her back story contained even more disturbing revelations I did not want to know about.

The older man; possibly a butler from the looks of him, then turns his attention to me and makes an adjustment to his eye-wear.

"Pardon me, milady. My I ask who this common looking fellow is? I don't believe I've seen him around before."

"He's a good friend of mine, Morris. The leader of the party I joined to adventure with. Anyways, is father available. I need to talk with him about some things."

"Of course, milady. He's up in his study, trying to keep his mind off worrying about you. Young man, if you would come with me, I'll..."

"Actually, he'll be coming with me, Morris. I want to introduce him to father as well as ask a special favor of him."

The butler named Morris tries to speak up; to say something important.

Maybe about etiquette and protocol; I wasn't sure?

But Darkness just ignores him as she grabs my hand, hard; and practically drags me to the study.

Not because I couldn't walk myself nor did I want to hang back-

Rather, it was because she was walking to fast for me to actually do anything myself.

Once we reached the close doors of the study, I figured Darkness would simply open one of the doors and gently walk inside.

Nope, this crazy girl kicked both doors open hard; leaving scratches and other bits of damage where her heels had impacted.

Inside, I could make out a figure sitting in a chair turned towards the fire place.

I then hear a sigh as the figure moves to look at us.

"Lalatina, how many times must I say this? There is no reason to kick the doors open, especially when they have good, perfectly functional door knobs one can easily turn instead."

"You don't have to say anything at all, father. I'm already well aware of that. My way is just more fun is all."

Said Darkness; sounding all sweet and playful with her words.

Wait, does she do stuff like this in her family's owned property?

I really hope she doesn't do this back at the mansion.

Darkness's father then stands and approaches us; stopping upon seeing me and giving me a curious look.

"And who is this, Lalatina? Is he the reason you ran off last night and stole both carriage and then horses?"

"He is, father. My I present my friend and comrade, the leader of our party; Satou Kazuma. And this here is my father, Kazuma; Dustiness Ford Ignis."

I step forward and bow; then taking papa Dustiness hand when offered and the two of us shake.

"Ah, so you are the friend my daughter has spoken... highly of. The one who seems to have run afoul of my old friend, Aldarp. It's nice to finally get to meet you."

"You as well, sir... though judging from the hesitation in your words just now, when you said Darkness has spoken highly of me, I'm a little worried about exactly what she has said to you."

We both look at Darkness with questioning gazes; her reply being to look away and act like she didn't notice.

"Anyways, I thank you for taking care of my daughter. I'm sure she hasn't made it easy for you. Now, would you mind telling me why you left so late into the night like you did, Lalatina? I can only assume it was to fetch your friend here. May I ask why you brought him here with you at this time?"

Darkness finally looks back at her father again and says-

"I would like to request that Kazuma be made a temporary butler within our family's service for the duration of the forthcoming marriage meeting between me and Walther. To be my personal butler."

"And why would I need to do this?"

"To help me... I mean, help us insure that everything goes smoothly. Kazuma knows a thing or two about dealing with problem children, as my letters to you have talked about. I am confident he can help me keep myself under control for the duration of the meeting."

Ignis looks at me with well deserved skepticism; something I understood the reason for very much.

In fact; I'm pretty certain he's already guessed that Darkness brought me here to help her ruin the meeting.

But, after a few moments, he sighs and says-

"Oh well, seeing as he's here and all, I'll go ahead and permit this. We have one full day to prepare you for what's ahead so I hope you're ready for some quick education on the finer arts of being a butler."

Somehow, I had a feeling I was going to be put through the ringer here...

============================={ Part 4: Walther }=============================

Surprisingly; my education on how to be a butler had gone by much faster than anyone had expected.

In fact; perhaps it went by too fast as it only took me less than two hours to get everything down.

The head butler; Morris, had even told me that 'I should consider quitting my day job and become a butler full time. That it was a better calling for me.'

He had then gave me a hearty laugh while I gave him a scowl in return.

I just hated it when the help looks down on you in stories, despite the fact you had accomplished feats that they could only ever dream of achieving.

But, enough about that old wrinkled wanker.

Seeing as I had finished my training early, Darkness asked her father if it was OK if she showed me around town before lunch-

Especially seeing as once lunch was over, she was going to be spending the afternoon trying out different dresses to determine which would be the right one for the meeting tomorrow.

After we had left the Dustiness mansion; Darkness became a lot happier as she showed me around.

In truth, Malyais was a rather impressive looking town though it lacked a few key features had with Axel; the main one being its own Adventurer's Guild.

Instead, there was just a simple tavern where the local mayor; who was in-charge whenever no one from house Dustiness was present in town, would post special request to anyone who lived in town could undertake for eris.

There was also a lack of an actual Eris Church though there was something of a small shrine present.

Other than that; the place had all the basic shops you would expect to find in any town.

Like an alchemy shop; which is where me and Darkness currently found ourselves.

"Ah, lady Dustiness, it has been sometime since I last saw you in Malyais. Is there anything I can help you with today?"

"Probably not today, Agatha. I'm just showing my friend here around."

The woman who owned the shop; an older woman with graying hair and a few wrinkles, gave me a kind look and a warm smile.

"So, you're the boy I've heard rumors about. The one who has somehow found a way to tame this wild child here."

"Agatha, not another word. There are some things better left unsaid..."

Cried Darkness as she goes to shut the older woman up.

"I don't know about that, ma'am. Between her and the other problem children I have to care for, it sometimes seems like an impossible challenge."

I was wondering what sort of rumors she had heard; but from the sound of her voice I doubt it was any of the rumors going around Axel which was a relief.

I also make a mental note to make another stop off here before we leave as I had a feeling she could reveal so much to me about Darkness's past.

"Anyways, is it OK if I browse for a bit while I'm here? See if there's anything of interest I might want to buy from you?"

"Certainly, dear. Let me know if you see anything you'd like. Lalatina; if you'll excuse me for a few moments, I need to run into the back and finish up this supply order I need to get sent off."

Darkness nods as Agatha excuses herself and walks through a door behind her.

Darkness then starts looking around herself.

I, meanwhile, carefully examine the various elixirs present on the shelves.

Most of them were the typical sort you would find in a shop like this one-

Health restoring potions; mana restoring drinks, potions to help one stay awake or to fight insomnia.

But it was when I made my way over to the 'exotic' section that I began to find the good stuff.

One potion was said to give you a scent that made any guy or girl who took it in that had feelings for you go mad crazy with lustful passion.

I'll take a few bottles of that.

One that could give a guy some much needed help in the bedroom by giving them 'god-like' stamina.

Yep, I'll buy of few of those too as you'll never know when they could come in handy.

One that can grant short term x-ray... say no more; I'm sold on that.

I then spot a really interesting one; so much so that I turn to Darkness and say-

"Hey, Darkness, I think you'll want to..."

"Kazuma, Kazuma; look at this potion. It's an extremely potent mating elixir that will throw any monster that smells it into serious heat. And the best part is, it will make anything doused in it become the primary target of the lustful beast desires. I have to buy this."

I sweat drop from the excited look she had on her face; though I try to give her an encouraging smile.

"R-Really now, t-that's great to hear. Totally right up your ally, that is."

Oh god, what does a decent shop like this one have an item like THAT?

That's the sort of thing I'd expect Wiz to sell.

"Anyways, enough about that. Come over here and look at what I just found. I think I have a way to make that meeting tomorrow go even better for you."

"Really?"

Darkness was quick to move to my side; after throwing all the elixirs she was just going on about into a little shopping basket.

Once she had reached me, I hand her a bottle of the stuff I was suggesting to her.

"According the the directional label here; this little number will make it so the person being affected will have no other choice but to show us their true self. If Walther is anything like his father; except he's trying to keep it under-wraps for the sake of this meeting, then this will make him reveal that secret side of himself before all of and..."

"And that will make my father call off this whole stupid thing immediately; good find, Kazuma. Apart from the age difference; my father is also worried what would happen to me if I was to marry Aldarp because of those rumors. He has even told me that if not for the rumors, he might have been willing to entertain the idea of Aldarp taking me as his wife; but only if I had been OK with doing that."

"So, are we done here?"

I asked; getting an excited nod from Darkness as she quickly turns and calls out to Agatha.

Shortly there after, both me and Darkness walk out of the shop; each of us with our own bags.

Darkness with the potion I had shown her as well as he 'personal' interest potions.

And me with my little supply of perverted tonics I had big plans for is the future, once certain decision were made.

And the best part in all of this was the Darkness had purchased the whole lot herself with her father's money too.

On a side note; I had noticed Agatha had slipped a little note into my bag while Darkness wasn't looking.

She then gave me a wink as we left; more or less confirming what I believed to be the contents of the note.

Once we had returned to the mansion and had lunch with her father; Darkness had left us to go deal with her dress selection and I found myself being taken into her father's private study.

Once we had both taken a seat, Ignis was quick to ask me-

"Mister Satou, I need to ask a favor of you right now."

"Sure, if it's within my power, I'll do whatever I can for you. And please, just call my Kazuma. The whole mister term feels a little weird for me to have applied, ya know."

Ignis smiles as he gives me a nod.

"Very well, Kazuma. Here's what I need from you. I have already determined the reason my daughter brought you here with her is so that you could help her find some way to ruin this whole meeting that's going to happen tomorrow."

I scratch the back of my head nervously while asking-

"Was it really that obvious?"

Ignis, to my surprise, gives me a warm smile.

"Well, yes... if we're being honest with each other here. I'm sure my daughter has already forgotten but in her past letter to me; she spoke quite highly of you... or rather; what she may have felt was being praise worthy words. Though, given the situation you have found yourself in, I can't blame you being anything close to the person she described you to be; what with all the rumors and lies that have been spread around to sully your name."

I really wanted to ask what it was she had said about me; I really, really did.

Instead though, I just sigh before saying-

"As tempted as I am to ask you about what she has said about me; we should stay focused onto the task at hand here. I'm guessing you want me to make sure she DOESN'T ruin the meeting; both for her sake and for the sake of the family name, am I right?"

Ignis nods before saying-

"It would mean a lot to me and I would owe you one on top of it."

I was quiet following his words for a moment; for a long moment in fact.

Finally, I say to Ignis-

"Look, I can see where you are coming from; where both of you are coming from as far as this matter goes. That's the reason I even came here despite the drama going on back in Axel... though I confess that I was fine with taking a little break so I could rest and collect my thoughts on the matter."

"Anyways, the main reason I agreed with coming here to help Darkness was so I could insure that she doesn't do anything that would damage your family's good name; destroy it even. Your family has helped me, in its own way, and I'd hate to see generations of hard work and sacrifice all be destroyed by the actions of one young girl just because she has dreams that goes beyond her birthright."

"Then that means you'll help me make this..."

Said Ignis excitedly though I was quick to hold up a hand to stop him.

"At the same time; I also feel that Darkness deserves the right to decide her future, which includes deciding both when and who she will ultimately marry. To that end, all I can promise you is that I will make sure she doesn't sully the Dustiness family's name. That much I can do for you here but anything else is her choice to make and her right to do so."

Ignis looks at me for a second; considers my words before sitting back and sighing.

"I was afraid you'd say that but I admit I was also afraid you'd say a lot worse too. You are right though, my daughter should have the right to chose her own path and who she'll ultimately chose to walk that path with."

"If I may ask you, sir. Why are you so worried about seeing her married so soon? I mean, she's still young and there's plenty of time left for her to find someone."

"Yes, I know you are right. It's just that... hack hack cough hack"

Ignis suddenly leans forward as he begins to cough suddenly; sounding less than ideal too.

I quickly leave my chair and place a comforting hand on his back as he quickly grabs a glass of water and drinks it; helping to end his coughing fit.

"Are-are you alright, pops? That didn't sound so good just now."

"Yes... don't worry, I'm fine. I've just been suffering a little cold as of late. My personal doctor has assured me that it will pass here in a few days time. It always does when this has happened to me before."

"Does Darkness know you've been sick?"

I asked, my concern evident in my voice.

Ignis nods then tells me-

"Yes, she does but... if at all possible, could you keep how my cough sounded just now from her though. If she finds out, she might try to use it as an excuse to delay this meeting for a while; perhaps long enough to where it wouldn't be needed anymore."

"May I ask why you are in such a hurry to see her marry so soon anyways?"

Ignis looks at me with a sly grin on his face.

"Oh, no particular reason, really. I just want to see and spoil my grandchildren as much as I can... while I'm still able to."

After that, I told Ignis that I would do what I can but I wouldn't try to change her heart of it was dead set on turning this marriage offer down if that's what she wanted.

He agreed and we parted ways.

As I walked through the mansion after that; my thoughts turned to Ignis's condition.

Was he really OK?

That cough back there definitely didn't sound OK if you asked me.

There was something else; a feeling I had felt for just a split second as he was coughing back there.

A feeling that reminded me of that day in the courtroom; when everyone became frozen in place-

Sudden sounds from a nearby room drags me from my thoughts as I quickly move to the door, open it, and allow myself a quick peek inside.

What I saw made me want to face palm into the very ground.

Darkness was in there; surrounded by maids who were desperately trying to get her to finish putting on one of the dresses and Darkness was fighting tooth and nail to stop them from doing so.

I felt so bad for these people, having to deal with that stubborn girl.

I then returned to my room and, remembering the little note Agatha had slipped into the bag of potions I had gotten, and pulled it out.

What was written upon it made me smile a wide, devious smile alongside a evil cackle of a laugh.

Just wait until we get back to Axel; the others were going to LOVE this revealing bit of news about Darkness and her scandalous past.

The next day, me, Darkness, her father, as well as Morris and several maids were standing and waiting within the main hall for Walther and his escort to arrive.

"You know, Lalatina; seeing you in that dress, it reminds me of your dear mother. How I wish she could have been here with us today to see you as you are."

"As do I father, as do I."

"And... I thank you for actually meeting with Walther here today as well. I know these meeting are far from something you care about and have tried to ruin before they even get to this stage but..."

"Of course, father. I did owe Aldarp a favor after all. But..."

Both me and Ignis begin to sweat as a dark and dangerous smile crosses Darkness's lips.

"I only agreed to meet with him and seeing as his entering this mansion constitutes as meeting; I'm afraid that's the limit I'm willing to allow it to go to. As soon as that door opens, I'll be scaring him off like all the rest, HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!"

"Wait, Lalatina, please... I beg you to reconsider..."

Cried her father, who looked like he was about to cry.

I clear my throat to get their attentions onto me before saying in as posh and dignified manner as I could-

"Lady Lalatina, I would kindly ask of you to remember your station here. To act in such a vulgar and unsightly way is unbecoming of one such as yourself."

She quickly glares at me and says angrily-

"What are you...? Kazuma, how dare you? Are you going to betray me now?"

"Not at all, milady. For the moment, I am but a humble servant of House Dustiness and only wish for you happiness to be maintained. Surely you can understand that?"

Off to the side, I see Ignis look at me with grateful appreciation as Darkness charges at me.

"Damn you, Kazuma, I'm going to..."

Her words and actions are stopped as a man enters the room and announces the arrival of the honored guest.

A few moments later, Walther comes walking into view; showing that the image Darkness had shown us before failed to really capture his charms and good looks.

And I found myself thinking 'damn, a guy like that could easily make a straight guy question his sexuality'... crap, just what am I saying here?

I was also glad the others hadn't been allowed to come by Darkness as I was worried how seeing this guy in the flesh would have affected them too.

It could have meant the end of my 'not' harem I had built up since coming to this world.

Darkness then turns to Walther and looks him over before walking forward at a brisk pace.

"So, you are the son of the fat swine who's made life for my dear friend hard. Well, seeing as you're here and all, allow me to personally extend my hand and..."

She doesn't get to finish as I quickly catch up to her and, with a swift motion with a foot, step down onto the ends of her dress that were dragging along the floor-

And send her crashing down head first into the floor.

"Milady, please mind your step."

I fake cried out of equally fake concern.

All the while, this Walther guy gives us a curious; perhaps even amused, look.

"Well, considering this is our first meeting and all; I wasn't expecting to see lady Lalatina fall for me this soon."

Both me and Darkness quickly turn our heads to look at the chuckling man; both probably thinking the same thing here-

'Great, this guy is some sort of joker.'

============================={ Part 5: Kindred }==\===========================

"Kazuma, what the hell is up with you back there? I thought you were on my side in this matter."

After that introduction had happened, I had requested a few minutes for Lady Dustiness to go fix herself up after her 'accident' while Walther went with Ignis into the study in order to chat.

After Darkness had gotten to her feet and quickly dragged me into a room nearby.

"I am, Darkness. You know that I am. But remember the plan here, alright. We're going to do this but we have to do it in a way that won't hurt your family's good name. And anyways, what is up with you? The way you acted back there wasn't like the Darkness I know."

"On the contrary, Kazuma. It very much IS like me and this is the reason why."

She then holds up a bottle; a very familiar bottle at that.

I give her an aggravated look as I shout out-

"Are you telling me that you used that entire bottle of that stuff on YOURSELF?"

Darkness gives me a devious grin.

"Indeed I did, but don't worry. I purchased another bottle as well which I made certain to pour into the wine that he'll be drinking; just in case plan A failed or was stopped by you."

I smack my head before yelling-

"What's wrong with you. I mean seriously, just what the hell's wrong with you, girl? I know he comes from a sex pest of a father here, but can't you at least give him a chance to show that maybe, just maybe, he could be your kind of guy after all?"

Darkness laughs hard at my words before telling me-

"My type of guy? Oh Kazuma, after all the time we've spent together, I would have thought you of all people would know what my preferred type is."

Her words make me start to sweat... a LOT as she continues-

"You see, you foolish little boy; the type of guy I desire isn't the honorable kind of man Walther has been said to be. He's seems to be of the sort that is always kind and caring; someone who would never get and angry and lash out at his lover. He helps the poor and weak with they are troubled and is always a champion to the common man. In other words, a true paragon of virtue all should aspire to be like."

And that's a bad thing WHY?

"Oh no, what I seek is the sort of man that is worthy of the noble status; a crass and cruel man who would have you executed on the spot just for looking at him all funny. A drunkard and abusive individual who would drug me and allow his disgusting friends to have they way with me in exchange for a few eris. A man who, should he suffer hardships, would take all his anger out on me and society instead of seeing any fault in himself. A perverted monster who would whore me off to anyone and break a bottle over my head should I fail to bring him his money."

Darkness then begins to pant and moan erotically while I can do nothing but stand there and cry.

"T-T-There's no sniff helping you is there, you poor delusional freak?"

That did it for me; I had to make this marriage happen-

If only in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, Walther could fuck the pervert out of this woman.

Not long after; the two of us were called into the study to join Walther and Ignis for the meeting.

Upon seeing us; Ignis and Walther gave us a look of concern as Ignis asked-

"What's wrong, Kazuma. Why do you look like someone has died?"

"Well, it wasn't a someone but... I guess you could say that something has died..."

Yeah, namely any hopes I had that Darkness could be saved from herself and her sick mind.

"Don't worry about Kazuma, father. He's just so happy to be here this day to help make this all happen."

Ignis looks at me worriedly; obviously not convinced by her words.

Walther, meanwhile, just smiles sincerely as he takes a drink of his, possibly spiked, drink.

"Well, that's good to hear. Anyways, shall we begin then?"

Darkness nods as she sits opposite him; smiling in a way that makes me begin to worry anymore.

I mean; she had admitted to drinking a full bottle of that being truthful potion in addition to making sure Walther did too via his drink.

Only bad things were about to happen and I can only hope her family name can survive it.

"How about we start with introductions again as it's as good a way to start things off, I think."

Said Ignis; sounding calm and confident though I could help but feel his concern here.

"Understood, sir. I am Alexei Barnes Walther, adopt..."

"Yes, yes, I know. And I am Dustiness Ford Lalatina. Forgive me if I am being a little rude in my quickness here, Walther; but I'd rather get this sad and pathetic char-GGAAHHH..."

I carefully and cautiously touch a finger to the nape of Darkness's neck; hoping I avoided being noticed and activated Freeze on her which makes Darkness shriek in surprise.

"Lalatina, are you alright?"

Cried Ignis worriedly as Walther gave her, and I think me as well, a curious look.

"huff-huff It was nothing father, I'm fine. It was just looking upon Walther's disgusting-EEKKKK..."

This time, I tried Drain Touch on her.

It was only for a split second but it was still enough to stop her from saying anything further.

I lean in close and whisper into an ear and say-

"Any more outburst from you and I'll really let you have it."

"Promise..."

She says as she makes a dangerous grin.

Damn it; I really need to remember who I'm dealing with here.

I need to think of something that won't further motivate her after I do it.

Ignis laughs nervously at what was going on before saying-

"Perhaps my being here is making my daughter feel bashful and nervous. I suggest the two of you take a walk around the garden. Even during this time of year; I find the stroll to be a rather pleasant one to experience."

Darkness nods as she and Walther get up and head out into the garden.

I go to follow but find myself being stopped by Ignis.

The look he gives me says it all.

"I promise I'll do what I can; but I may have to resort to some... extreme methods here."

Ignis simply nods at me, giving me his consent as he lets me go so I can quickly go join them.

I quickly find them as Walther ask Darkness-

"So, Lalatina; are there any hobbies you enjoy engaging in?"

"Oh, there are quite a few. I hunt dangerous monsters; experiencing life threatening encounters with all manner of wild beast and all in the hopes of being ravaged in their SMACK..."

Moving like grease lightning, I came up behind Darkness and did a judo chop against the back of her head which makes her yelp.

"Please forgive my lady, lord Walther. She enjoys reading and has a vivid imagination."

"Yes, I see. Pardon me, mister...?"

"Call me Kazuma; lady Lalatina's personal butler."

"Yes, mister Kazuma. Anyways; if I may be so bold here; it would seem the two of you are rather close."

Hearing those words makes Darkness smile a dangerous smile; one that sent a chill down my spine.

"Very astute, Walther. We are close; so close in fact that Kazuma here accompanies me everywhere I go. We travel together, eat together, BATHE TOGETHER, and we have also..."

"Excuse me, you shameless, hopeless pervert, but we have never ever bathed together. Now, me and Megumin on the other hand; that's a different story. And you wanna know something else? Cielo even joined... us... ?"

Damn it, why did I just say that?

Wait, please tell me she didn't spike that drink I drunk just before this all got started too?

Darkness quickly turns to me and says-

"What are you saying, Kazuma? Wait, I remember now. Anna was talking about that before we left. So the three of you really did do something. You know I can't let this slide, Kazuma."

It looked like we were about to go at each other but our actions come to a quick stop as we hear Walther laugh at our antics.

"You know, I had expected a lot of things to happen when I came here today but this wasn't one of them. Perhaps its the weird feeling going on within my head right now, but I must confess I am enjoying myself. Thank you for the laugh, Lalatina."

I look at Walther and see he was being sincere in hie words; he did look happy.

"Are you mocking me, Walther? I won't stand for that. You, me, to the training hall right now. It's time we end this whole farce right now."

To my, and possibly Darkness's surprise, Walther laughs again and says-

"Lalatina; you must know that I am a knight and as such, chivalry demands I stay my blade from striking a woman..."

He says that but then immediately rushes forward with unexpected speed; getting behind Darkness as he grabs one of her arms and holds it roughly behind her.

His actions make her gasp in surprise and makes me stand there in awe.

"But I also have my pride as a man to consider here too. It's strange; I don't know why I am acting out like this now as I am usually able to keep my less honorable side in check, but no matter. You wanna dance with me; then let us dance."

Darkness just stands there for a second; blinking in surprise before smiling.

"You know, Walther. I may have pegged you all wrong after all. But don't expect me to go easy on you just because I'm a noble girl. I'll show you just what a lady of house Dustiness can do."

She then rips off most of her skirt, to make movement easier for her-

Or so I really hoped.

Unable to stop myself, I can't help but look at her long and powerful legs like the shameless perv I am.

Darkness takes notice and smirks as she looks at Walther.

"And if you want to win me over completely, then you'll need to look at me and treat me the way this degenerate man here does."

I honestly couldn't dispute her words; considering I kept my eyes on the goods the whole walk into the training hall.

After that; the two of them took up their wooden training swords and immediately began their duel.

It was honestly quite impressive.

Walther's skill and grace; his deftness with the blade was a wonder to behold.

It was obvious how he had obtained such a loft ranking in the kingdom so young in life.

AT least he wasn't one of those types of nobles that got to where they were simply because of their family's name and money.

Darkness, on the other hand, well-

She was performing EXACTLY as you would expect her to.

None of her attacks could land a hit off Walther; not even coming close.

And it was obvious she was allowing his attacks to hit her each and every time, even when he was actively trying to avoid striking her.

I had a feeling he was testing her when she did that.

After several minutes of them going back and forth; Walther surprises us by raising his hand out.

"Lalatina; I must admit you keep surprising me. Never in my life have a met a woman as strong and capable as you are. And your defense; while unusual, is amazing in its effectiveness."

Darkness grins at him; not a sly or devious grin, but rather a grin filled with pride.

Maybe it was just me but I think she was starting to take a liking to Walther?

Yeah, probably just me here.

"What's this now, Walther. Trying to catch me off guard by throwing flattering words my way? Or are you about to concede defeat to me here? If so, then I must say I am disappointed with you. Kazuma here, despite how weak and lacking in almost all aspects he is-"

"HEY, I TAKE OFFENCE TO THAT."

I yelled at Darkness which she ignores while continuing her words towards Walther.

"My point to you is; despite being a pathetic sorry excuse of a man; he could still carry on longer than you have done here. Are you really going to make someone of your status lose out to someone like him?"

Walther laughs as he looks at me; a look that I could tell had an idea being formulated behind it.

"Is that so, Lalatina? Well then, perhaps master Kazuma here would be willing to tag in for me and show me how its done. What do you say, friend?"

What do I say?

Normally, I would even think of trying to go one on one against Darkness.

While her landing a hit wasn't an issue; there was the matter of her unbreakable defense.

And the fact if I got in to close and she grabbed hold of me; she could easily snap my bones as if they were twigs with her brutish strength.

So, what I would say is-

"OK, I play along. But don't expect me to go easy on you, Darkness."

She had just insulted me... twice in fact.

I didn't care if she was my friend or comrade-

I wouldn't even care if she was family, or my girlfriend, or even my wife-

If you insult Satou Kazuma, then as an advocate of true gender equality, I will kick your ass no matter what sex you are.

Darkness eyes seemed to shine as Walther walks up to me and hands me his blade.

"Ah-hah-hah-hah; you just made a foolish mistake, Kazuma. Don't think I'll go easy on you just because you're my..."

"Create Water-"

Her words are cut short as I douse her in water from head to toe.

"Such a heinous display; exactly the sort of underhanded..."

"Sprint; Shock Palm."

I once again cut her off by activating my speed skill; the close distance between us making it so she wouldn't have time to even register my words before I had reached her and buried my palm into my gut; unleashing my electric skill to send shocks racing across her body; amplified by the water.

Darkness shrieks as he body goes rigid and her hold on her blade fails her; letting it fall onto the ground which I immediately kick away.

"Impressive; you are quite the devious fighter indeed."

Said Walther; making me turn to glare at him though I was surprised to see him slightly grinning.

I then hear Darkness chuckle, making me realize I had made a goof by being distracted.

I turn back only to find Darkness sending a fist into my gut; which hurts like hell by the way.

This causes me to drop the training sword I was holding as well.

Before I could recover; she had grabbed my hands, forcing the two of us into a grappling match.

"That was excellent; very well done indeed, Kazuma. That's exactly the sort of tactic I have come to expect from you. It may even even worked if I wasn't so durable and resistant to magical damage."

She then looks at Walther and says-

"Did you watch him, Walther? Did you see that? That is how a REAL man fights. As we learned from our encounter with the Dullahan, there is no honor to be found in fighting. All that matters is winning and losing, life and death. Try to maintain honor in battle and you will eventually lose."

She then turns back to me; a big and happy smile on her face which said she was having the time of her life here now.

"So tell me, Kazuma, just what are you going to do to get out of this one? Just so you know; if you decide to concede defeat to me here and now, you will have to do anything I say for the next month and oh just you wait because I have something special planned for you. Oh yes, I most definitely do indeed."

"Hey, wait a minute... since when was there a reward on the table? You can't just..."

I complained, not because I didn't think it was unfair for her to do that-

Which, to be fair, I did think that was true but... who am I kidding; that's something I would do too.

Rather, it was to distract her for a few more seconds while I ready my counter attack.

"Have you already forgotten, Kazuma. Here on the battlefield, there is no such thing as fair. Now, either yield to me or will I need to snap your wrist and-AAAHHHH!"

I activate Drain Touch in that moment; causing her to shriek out in surprise.

I then laugh at her pain as I say-

"You fool, surely you must have seen what was coming here? I mean, after all; you do know me so well, don't you? Now, what do you think will be my-I-I-I-OOOWWWW..."

She counters my Drain Touch as she begins to fight back, moving my hands into a very painful position.

"Oh, I haven't forgotten, Kazuma. I just wanted to give you a chance to activate that annoyingly helpful skill of yours. Now, I wonder which will give out first; my energy or your brittle bones?"

And thus, we became locked into a stalemate; each of us giving our all here.

And as much as I hated to say it; she was clearly going to be the winner in this little contest.

I needed something that could make her want to lose to me.

I could say that I would do something to her; make her believe it would be something she'd like, if I win but given her current state of mind following drinking that potion; would that really be enough to change the outcome here?

"Good work, partner; now I'll tag back in and and we can bring this beast down together."

Shouts Walther; suddenly coming in from behind and grappling Darkness under her arms and somehow forcing them into letting me go as he performs an impressive feet and locks them together behind her back.

Darkness turns her head and yells out to Walther-

"What are you doing? You can't just jump back into a fight after surrendering?"

Walther laughs at her and says-

"Funny; when did I ever say that I was giving up, Lalatina? I never said that; you just made that assumption when I called for a momentary pause. Furthermore; I asked Kazuma to tag in for me which isn't the same as admitting defeat. Now Kazuma, I'll let you handle the front while I keep her busy from behind. I confess, I was always more of a 'coming in from behind' kind of guy anyways."

"I see; I underestimated the both of you, you brazen cheaters. You two must have found a way to formulate this plan without me noticing. No matter; try all you want but the two of you will never, break my-AAAAHHHHH."

Darkness cries out as I grab onto her face; making sure I don't get to close to her lips so as to avoid being bitten.

I then push Drain Touch to its fullest which makes Darkness begin to wobble and shake.

"What's wrong, Darkness. Can't you handle the two of us? I thought you were much stronger than this? Or... could it be that you are wanting us to dominate and break you mind, body, and heart this day?"

"N-No, what are y-you saying? There is n-no way I will defeated by..."

Darkness tries to deny my words, but her submissive expression said it all.

"And now... Restrict Links."

Says Walther; using a skill that can temporarily bind a persons arms and/or legs together with magic.

In other words; a special skill similar to the Thief's Bind Skill, but exclusive to the Knight family though I'm told it can be very hard to learn.

Walther then surprises me as he leans in close to Darkness's ear and says-

"Don't lie, you naughty girl. Do you know what happens to bad girls who lie to their betters?"

He then does something neither of us expected; he takes a hand and smack her hard against her butt.

Darkness surprised cry was like music to my ears.

Clearly, it was that damn potion Darkness had slipped all of us that was doing this; making this all possible as I was confident Walther and I would have never done this otherwise-

"You brutes, how dare you treat me like a child and spank me like that."

"Oh, now you're telling us what is and isn't OK? Walther, you know what to do with her?"

Walther did indeed as he gave her two additional smacks against her bottom; making her moan loudly.

Sorry Darkness; you DID bring this on yourself so it was time to reap what you sow.

"Hah-hah-ah Just you two wait. Once I am able to escape from this humiliation, I will..."

"Oh, you think that THIS is humiliation? This, dear Darkness, is nothing compared with what's to come. Just you wait as I already have the perfect plan for you. Once we're done here, your shame will be unending."

"W-What are you going to do to me? What will the both of you do?"

Cried Darkness as she quivered in fear... or perhaps excitement.

"Oh, you really want to know, do you? Well, you shall find out soon enough."

Said Walther as he begins to cackle.

I then quickly add-

"And don't even begin to try to think about what's going to happen to you as I promise no matter what you may think of won't even begin to come close with what's going to befall you. And when it's all done; you will never be able to escape the sheer shame and embarrassment you will come to feel."

I join Walther in laughter as Darkness; overwhelmed by her racy and raunchy thoughts-

Immediately screams out in utter ecstasy and immediately passes out.

The two of us look down at her unmoving form for a moment before Walther looks at me and ask-

"Think she'll be alright?"

"Yeah; this isn't the first time I've seen this happen with her. Just let her sleep for a few hours and she'll wake up feeling very, very happy... at least until she realizes we aren't actually going to do anything."

"Speaking of; are you going to do something humiliating to her later?"

"Oh yeah; once we get back to Axel, I'm gonna let EVERYONE back at the Guild know her real name. Since she prefers to tell people that her name is Darkness; having them know the truth will be far worse than any humiliation she can ever conceive of."

"Nice, buddy."

We then high five one another then freeze before our hands could separate.

We both look at each other as my mind suddenly clears of all the weird thoughts I had been having.

Looking at Walther; I could see the same thing was happening to him too.

"Kazuma; what the heck just happened? Oh my goddess; what have we just done?"

We then both look down at the unconscious, unmoving Darkness; still partially soaked in the water I had blasted her with.

We then look back at each other as I say-

"We are fucked here, Walther. If anyone comes in right now and sees this, then we'll definitely be..."

"So, is everything going OK in here? I thought I'd bring you all... s-some...?"

I just had to go raise a flag there, didn't I?

In that moment, Ignis just happened to come in and; seeing his daughter lying on the ground in the state she was in, quickly looks back to us with rage burning in his eyes.

"Wait, lord Ignis, this isn't what it looks like..."

We both cried as he calls for help.

A short while later, all of us were sitting in the study as Darkness finally regained consciousness and sits up.

"Father... everyone; what happened to me?"

Ignis reveals a bottle; the very bottles that Darkness had used to spike both Walther and me earlier which had been fished out of the trash by Morris.

"I believe this happened to you, daughter. Care to explain why you risked me having these two nearly executed for their... less that honorable actions?"

Darkness takes the bottle; looks it over with a confused expression, before everything returns to her or so I was assuming based on the look her eyes gave off.

"I apologize, father. I had used this potion in order to have both Walther, Kazuma, and myself act in a way that was true to our inner selves. I didn't think it would make things go that far."

"Normally, something like that wouldn't. I asked Agatha to examine the bottles and we discovered that these ones she recently got in had been created by someone from the Crimson Demon village. They were suppose to be sent to Axel but had been shipped to Agatha's shop instead. She's regrets not paying any attention to the fine print on them."

"The Crimson Demon village; you don't mean?"

She looks at me and I give her a nod; making her then ask-

"What are the side effects, Kazuma?"

I sigh as I say to her-

"It makes everyone act true to themselves; but beware if you have any sort of strong perverted tendency's within you as they'll drive those thoughts and feelings to the maximum and make you act those perverted desires out. Good news is that the effect, once it becomes active will last no longer than thirty minutes or until you reach your perverted peek. Whichever comes first."

Ignis then turns to Walther and bows-

"I'm so sorry about this, Walther. I hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive my daughter for her foolishness and give her another chance. I promise you this won't happen with her again."

Walther holds his hands up while maintaining his warm smile.

"It's alright, lord Ignis. No harm was done and, if I'm being honest here, I actually had a lot of fun this day. Perhaps more so than I should have had. Now, if it's OK with you, may I and Lalatina have a few minutes alone. There's something I would like to talk to her about in private."

Ignis nods as he gets up and leads Morris and the maids out of the room.

I also get up and follow them outside though he does ask me quietly if I can hang back and listen in on their conversation as best I can.

I then kneel down and lean in close to the crack in the door which had been left ever so slightly open.

Inside, I heard Darkness say-

"Well, I guess my secret is out now. Yes, I am a shameless masochistic pervert who became an Adventurer in order to fulfill her shameful fetish. Heh, guess you must find me pretty disgusting."

Walther surprises us both with a hearty laugh.

"You'd be surprised by how not disgusted I am, actually. If I am being honest here, Lalatina. When I came here this day, I had every intention on declining this arranged marriage. In fact, if not for my father insisting that I come, I wouldn't have even bothered showing up."

"Wait... are you serious? Not that I'm upset; I'm actually happy to hear that but... well, why?"

"Honestly, I have never wanted to take a girl from the nobility as a wife. A few years ago,, sure; I had been involved with a noble girl from house Kennessy but I quickly found out just how stuck up a noble girl can be. What I want isn't some snooty, self important snob who only cares about her looks and gossiping about people she doesn't even know."

"Instead, what I seek as an active, adventure minded girl who's street smart and not afraid to speak her mind. A free spirited and daring soul who's willing to get her hands dirty, stand up for the poor and isn't afraid to kick a little ass if she feels it's needed. In other words, a girl much like you."

Hearing that makes me sigh; if only Darkness had just acted the part of the perfect noble daughter, then none of this would have happened and we could have even been on our way back to Axel now.

I then hear something unexpected; Darkness was laughing happily.

"Sorry, Walther; hearing you say that makes me really want to have my head examine. I'm sure if Kazuma was LISTENING in on us right now; he'd probably be complaining how if I had just been a good little girl and played my part, then we could have saved so much time."

Damn, she knew I was listening in on them.

Did she know her father that well or was I being to obvious with my listening in-

Or was it because she knew me that well?

"Lalatina, is it OK for me to ask what started you current... interest?"

There was silence for a moment before I hear her say-

"I guess it all began when I was twelve, maybe thirteen? I was at this fancy ball that was being held at the capital with father. He was busy schmoozing with some nobles and I was feeling bored so I wandered off to explore. It was then I encountered some boy wearing woman's panties on his face; only his eyes being visible. He came running through the door into the banquet hall; his hands holding about a dozen panties. He then stopped me and said..."

"Hey there, little princess, help a pervy thief out and help me make my escape here?"

Huh?

I then risk opening the door a tad bit in order to see inside the room.

I could see Darkness looking at Walther with eyes wide with shock.

"Wait, how do y-you...? Wait, you can't be? Are you telling me that you're...?"

I see Walther smile as he spread his hands wide and says proudly-

"Indeed for it is I, the rapscallion child who snuck into the ball and used a magic item that allowed me to emulate the Steal skill in order to procure as many panties as I could for my collection. Yes, the one and only... Panty Raidy."

I then see Darkness get dangerously close to him; her face filled with excitement.

"It is you, isn't it. I can't believe it, you are actually THE Panty Raidy. I've always hoped I would get to see you again. Meeting you that night helped changed the course of my life from being one of a dangerous risk taker to being a dreamer of unhappy endings from sicko's and monsters alike."

"Ha-ha-ha If I had known that night that my favorite book, that I gave you as thanks for helping me, would have led you to becoming a super pervert, I might have tried to give you something else."

"Don't say that; it was thanks to that book that I finally got the courage to become an Adventurer. The... perverted side of everything was just a bonus in my opinion."

"Well then, I guess... it was a good thing after all."

They then both laugh before continuing with other curious topics though I felt I had heard enough.

I then pull away and walk around till I found Ignis.

"Well, how did things go? Is there any chance that the marriage could still go through?"

I shrug before giving him an encouraging smile.

"I'm not sure about them hooking up, sir. But, considering how they were when I left them, I have a feeling things are going to be alright. If nothing else; I think Darkness has found herself a new friend."

In fact, I would say that those two are true kindred spirits...

Next time: Kazuma and Darkness return to Axel only to find Sena waiting for them with news that mysterious creatures have been spotted at the crypt that the gang had destroyed previously. How will this new problem play out and will Kazuma finally be able to clear his name?

AN: I know many of you, if not all of you, may be thinking I made Walther way to OC in this one. Perhaps I did; but I feel that, seeing as he was only around for one episode of the anime and in one chapter of one volume of a LN (from what I can recall), there was a lot of potential to be tapped there with him, to flesh out his character. Hopefully, none of you won't mind this representation for him.
