A.N. This is an AU fic with UC couples,based mainly on the character of Isabel. Some of the pairings will be Izzie/OC, Izzie/Alex, Izzie/George.

Isabel Stevens rolled over in bed, away from the sun light that was pouring through the window. She felt two arms wrap around her waist and tighten around her waist.

"So, Dr. Stevens are you ready to start making history?" Isabel's boyfriend, Dean Carter, asked as he kissed her neck.

"I am so nervous that I'm going to screw up on my first day."

"Don't be. You going to do great," Dean said as he took Isabel's hand in his and started playing with Isabel's fingers. "And tomorrow when you get home we will be celebrating."

"Hopefully celebrating the beginning of my sugerical career and not the end of it."

"Izzie, don't be so negative."

"I'm sorry. It's just that I worked so hard to get here. I mean I'm just some girl from a trailer park. Girls like me aren't supposed to end up with a life like this."

"Yes they are."

"I just...don't know if I can do this. What if I can't do this?"

"You're already doing it. And you're doinggreat," Dean said reassuringly as he kissed Isabel's forehead.

"Did I ever tell you how great you are? And how much I love you?" Isabel asked as she smiled up at Dean.

"No, I don't think so. Why don't you tell menow," Dean joked.

"I love you Dean Carter."

"And I love you Izzie Stevens," Dean said as he brought his mouth to Isabel's and started to kissher. "What time do you have to be at work?"

"Orientation is at ten. And then I have a thirty-two hour shift starting right afterwards."

"Geez, they don't waste anytime in working you to death do they?"

"It's an average day in the life of a surgical intern."

"So if you don't have to be there till ten… and it's only seven right now…" Dean murmured into Isabel's neck as he started to kiss and suck on her neck. "Does that mean that we have time for… you know?"

"Are you serious?" Isabel laughed.

"Yes. Is it a crime for a guy to want to make love to his gorgeous girlfriend before she goes off to work?"

"You have thirty minutes buster," Isabel replied as she rolled over and smiled at Dean.

"I think that I can work with that."

"Oh do you?"

"I'll rock your world," Dean said as he leaned down over Isabel, who was now laughing, and brought his mouth down to hers which started a very heated morning workout session.
