"Bumi!" A young girl's voice shouts as the first one to be up and out of bed. "Ugh!" The girl says groaning. The young girl runs to Bumi's room and there as she approaches Bumi's room she sees Bumi asleep in his bed. "Bumi!" Shouts the young girl. The young girl continues to shout Bumi's name but after many tries she decides to take extreme matters by using her waterbending to pour cold water from her pouch over Bumi's head. "Uh Huh?! What?!" Bumi says confused waking up. "Kya!" Bumi shouts in anger. "Uh oh!" Says Kya trying to run off. "Kya why?!" Asks Bumi. "Because, first you wouldn't wake up. Second is because I thought it might be funny. And third is because you got something in the mail." Says Kya. Bumi opens the letter.

"What's it says?" Asks Kya. "Dear Bumi, congratulations! You have been accepted into the United Forces' Navy. ... We will be seeing you the United Republic's United Forces Naval Academy in two weeks!" - Yours truly the Admiral." The letter reads.

Bumi runs straight towards his parents' room. Bumi immediately open the door. "Mom! Dad!" Bumi shouts several times. Katara finally gets up. "Bumi, what is it?" Asks Katara exhaustedly. "Look what I got in the mail!" Bumi says excitedly as he shows Katara the letter. Katara looks at the paper as she yaws and moans. "Bumi, not now it's too early. I will look at it later, now go back to bed." Says Katara. Katara turns away from Bumi. Katara lays back down facing Aang's and wraps her arm over Aang. "Fine." Says Bumi. Bumi leaves and shuts the door.
