Angel Of Darkness
Chapter Twelve: Skin
Sasuke smirked, and moved to confidently walk away from Itachi. He didn't need him, and there was no way that he would let him have him!
Before he could take his first step, Sasuke found himself pinned face first into the wall. His eyes widened as he felt Itachi's chest press firmly to his back. His body shivered deliciously when he felt Itachi's hot breath on the side of his throat. His Jugular pulsed, pumping his blood thickly and ardently through him.
He could literally feel the way Itachi's mouth opened, and how his fangs seemed to dance along the skin of his neck.
Sasuke swallowed hard, trying his best not to pant with need.
"Do you really think I'm stupid, to have not have figured out, our, Mother's secret," Itachi's deep voice taunted him. Sasuke gasped, and tried to pry Itachi away from him. Itachi would have none of that, and pressed his knee in-between Sasuke's legs, making the boy gasp for a whole other reason. The light moan that left Sasuke's lips was meant to tell Itachi that the submissive was enjoying this. "It's a little shameful that you were trying to lead me on and never planning to tell me, where you…"
Sasuke arched against the wall, and turned his head slightly to look at Itachi over his shoulder. "Stop, you're making me hot," the mewl was nothing but pure seduction directed at the dominant.
Itachi pressed his knee deeper between Sasuke's legs, digging up, and tightened his hold on Sasuke's wrist. He slowly pulled them up higher, over Sasuke's head, and pressed his mouth to the boy's nape sucking.
Sasuke whimpered, gasped, writhed, and tried once more to free himself from the powerful grasp in any way that he could. He wasn't this weak was he, but Itachi's tongue on his skin was sin…
"What was that you were saying Otouto?"
Oh God, that term. Yes, he was Itachi's otouto. His destined mate, lover, and everything!
"Niisan," Sasuke squeaked, ah, the heat. He tilted his head, bearing his neck. He needed…
Sasuke was surprised when he was suddenly released and fell hard against the wall. He hissed, and then turned around, his eyes searching for Itachi, but he knew he was gone. Itachi had left him, cold and alone.
He hadn't been baited by his inviting calls.
Somehow that made Sasuke feel insecure and even a little unworthy of the dominant that had just been toying with him. What else was this feeling?
Disappointment?
Sasuke wasn't sure, all he knew was that he wanted Itachi and he was going to do anything he could to get him to want him back!
Sasuke stepped forward, determined to find the dominant when the floor under him gave way. He was then falling into darkness.
Sasuke jolted awake with a gasp.
He frantically looked around the slightly darkened room and soon realized where he was. He was in his dorm room, in bed, and he had been having some weird kind of wet dream. At least, that was what the perpetration heating his wanton body and aching hard cock was telling him right now.
Sasuke shuddered, recalling the way Itachi had called him Otouto and how much he had loved it. Would Itachi really say it that way? Sasuke wanted to hear him so badly. Sasuke pressed his hand to his mouth, trying hard to keep from moaning with need as he recalled the way his dream Itachi had held him as he said it.
Why the hell was something like that turning him on anyways?
It wasn't like they were actually brothers…ah but with the blood that they shared with Izuna and Madara when they turned. They might as well be brothers. Sasuke felt pleasure rush down his entire body at that fact, and he decided he needed a cold shower.
Like now
Scrambling out of the bed as fast as possible, Sasuke showered and changed to start the day. It wasn't until he was sitting with Izuna drinking blood in the privacy of the nurses office that Sasuke recalled the end of the dream.
Was he scared to lose Itachi?
Yeah, admittedly he was.
Naruto wasn't the only one that was close to Itachi. There was also the possibility that Itachi might forgive Kyuubi and want him now too. Out of almost a thousand students, hundred professors, Itachi could have his pick of any of them.
He wanted Izuna to hurry up so that they could be properly introduced.
He wanted to leave!
But the game was far from over. Izuna's resolve was eating at him as well, and Sasuke could see that his mother wasn't sleeping comfortably at all. It was just a matter of Sasuke taking control, or his mother breaking. Finishing his blood, Sasuke wondered if Itachi had chosen his next target already.
If he hadn't, Sasuke wanted to give him a suggestion.
"Have you ever heard the story of the man who killed his best friend and brought him back to life?" Naruto looked at Suigetsu with widened blue eyes, and noodles dripping from his lips. It was lunch time and they had been unable to find Itachi and the others. That left them to eat their lunch on the outside benches of the library, in the bright sunny afternoon.
They were facing a grassy area, with only one small thin pathetic tree to offer them any kind of shade. The day was warm and the breeze felt nice, so it wasn't a bad place to eat.
Naruto's first thought was, what had made Suigetsu say something like that, and the next was, what did that mean? A feeling of De Ja Vu came over him for a second, before he pushed it away. It had to be nothing.
Well, Suigetsu had just been itching to tell everyone about the story that he heard some time back from his father, and even had a goal to someday get it publish it. After all, that was something one would want to do to keep old fables, and past stories passed by parents preserved for generations to come-and this one was one of his favorites! It wasn't like he had much of a chance to actually write anything with school always keeping him busy, but he thought maybe if he talked about it the idea would be more fresh and better evaluated in his mind for when he did.
"Nope," Naruto said as he slurped up his noodles and turned to the silently brooding Sasuke. "Have you?" he asked.
Sasuke shook his head in response, and continued to eat.
"Well, the story goes that an evil sorcerer, whom promised the guy that he was a good being, approached him the day of his friend's funeral. The guilt was all on him and he was crying, so to soothe away the guilt, the sorcerer asked him if he would like to give his friend a second chance," Suigetsu said it all in such mysterious tone, his eyes narrowed deviously.
"You're kidding right?" Naruto asked. "He's kidding right Teme?"
Sasuke raised a thin eyebrow at Naruto. "What do you think Dobe?"
"That he's telling the truth," Naruto pouted because deep down inside, what Suigetsu had just said resonated with him. He turned back to Suigetsu who had an amused look on his face, as well as an evil glint in his eyes. "So it's a true story right?" Naruto muttered.
"Yeah right, and where would you hear all this crap from?" Sasuke asked, cutting off the blond.
"Oh, about this, I'm not lying. I'm speaking the truth here. I heard it from my dad." Suigetsu shrugged, "He said that his family had passed the story down for generations now, and he said that he even had a dream of it." the white haired male got a thoughtful look on his face, "There must be a reason why such a story is told other than to scare children, I mean I always thought there could be a deeper meaning to it. I feel like it's not just like a story, but it's actually real."
"Okay so," Naruto said, shaking his head.
"So, I thought it was interesting enough to let you guys know," Suigetsu insisted.
"So what is this whole festival thing?" Sasuke asked, as he decided to change the subject, and pointed to one of the posters that had recently been posted all around campus. The bright rainbow lettering seemed to scream for the participation of all students. It was going to be a weeklong event and it would open the school to the community.
Both Naruto and Suigetsu blinked at Sasuke in confusion before remembering that this was Sasuke's first year here and they grinned. Suddenly, the festival seemed like it would be actual fun, like it had been the first time around.
"It's awesome dude! Every class gets to set up a booth to raise money so we can go to field trips. Last year our class did a haunted house," Suigetsu gushed while Naruto nodded enthusiastically.
"All the food!" Naruto cheered.
Sasuke gave them a confused look, "but we have six classes,"
"Our homeroom class, Sasuke," Suigetsu explained, and then pointed at the posters, "But if we wanted, all we have to do is ask permission from the principal and we could create our own individual booth, like last year, Hinata and her friends decided to have a palm reading booth," Suigetsu grinned deviously, "and they made a lot of money,"
"With palm reading?" Sasuke asked, unsure if such a thing even worked.
"Yeah, it was popular. I heard that they want to bring that booth back this year. I've also heard that Hinata is accurate in telling people about their past lives." Suigetsu said.
Naruto, who had been swirling his noodles, looked over to the weird girl, Hinata. He knew Hinata since they were young, because she and Gaara would get along, but it had been some time now since he had actually seen her hang with his brother. In fact, it had been some time since he had even heard Hinata speak, but he always did think that she was weird, so it there was no doubt that what Suigetsu had said might be true. He turned back to Suigetsu and asked, "For real, does that mean that it worked?"
Suigetsu scowled, "Of course it worked! Hinata has never gotten any of these kinds of things wrong. They say that she can predict your life down to your death!"
"Yeah right," Sasuke said.
"She's so freaky," Naruto muttered.
"Well, if it isn't real then why are people so enthusiastic about it this time around?" Suigetsu asked and grinned, "I think I might even ask for a reading this time! I want to know if Kisame and I will get married"
"You do that," Naruto said and went back to finishing his noodles. "I rather leave it a mystery as to who I get to marry!"
"Well, I have something to do, see ya," Sasuke stood up and both males turned to look at him, wondering where he was going as he was already walking away and dumping his tray into the trash.
"What's up with him?" Suigetsu asked, and Naruto shrugged.
Both of them yelled, "BYE SASUKE!" making the raven twitch, but he didn't turn around to acknowledge them.
Itachi, Kisame, and Kyuubi had managed to get out of class after a private lecture from their homeroom teacher.
It seemed that they were failing because of their lack of collaboration in their class projects, and in retribution were going to have to participate in the school festival. The teacher had told them that she wanted them to run a small café, and be waiters so that they could bring in money to her program.
That it would also was the perfect opportunity for them to get to know each other and start to get along, because she didn't want to have to fail them.
The truth of the matter, all three figured, was that she just cared about her program. The program she regarded was an afterschool one that prepared students in taking the essential examinations so that they would be accepted to only the best universities. This program went above and beyond to motivate students and the teacher needed the funding as well as a way to promote it.
The café had actually been the lesser evil.
The only other option had been to recruit students and put on a dance performance for the whole school. All three had shot the idea down fast. There was no way that they were dressing up and dancing to any song, on a stage, in front of the whole student body!
"She actually said we will be dressing up in waiter outfits for realism, why, why?" Kyuubi groaned, wishing that they could have escaped having to wear any kind of costumes.
"This is so beneath me, what will Suigetsu think?" Kisame was tugging at his hair, thinking about how much more of a loser this was going to make him seem. "He's never going to see me for the successful man that I plan to be dressed as a waiter and serving others,"
"We will get through this. At least we won't be wearing dresses," Itachi tried to offer his support, but all he got were glares for his effort.
"That's easy for you to say! All the boys already like you the best. Not to mention all those girls that stalk you from afar because they are too scare to approach you! Do you even see the way Naruto always wants to hang off of you," Kyuubi cried, resentment shinning in his eyes.
"If it makes you feel better, I have no intentions towards Naruto," Itachi said.
"Why, what's wrong with my gorgeous, beloved, bubbly, Naruto?" Kyuubi glared at Itachi, baring his teeth at him in challenge.
"Nothing," Itachi glared right back. "I'm just not interested,"
"Could it be that you are interested in the prickly, snobbish, but adorable Sasuke?" Kisame grinned. Itachi raised an eyebrow at him, wondering where Kisame got off calling his future mate such mean things. Sasuke was not prickly or snobbish.
He was soft, warm, and sweet…
"Oh-ho, is that how it is," Kyuubi got a perverted look on his face, "Itachi you have a thing for sassy boys,"
"Sassy?" Itachi questioned. Where were they getting all these impressions from? Sasuke was shy and cute.
Kisame and Kyuubi were grinning widely at him, and Itachi didn't like it. "You do know Sasuke has all the girls after him," Kyuubi teased, "A bunch of them already asked him out, I wonder if he will choose one of them to spend the weeklong festival with…"
"Or for that matter, he could probably have one lined for each day of the week," Kisame added, his tone also teasing, "bet he will break five different hearts this week, and those girls will let him…"
"He has them all wrapped around his little finger, like this," both boys twirled their pinky fingers around.
Itachi frowned. How dare they talk about his Sasuke like that!
"You're going to have to be really good to get him," Kyuubi continued, he was smirking now as he lowered his voice in a way that said he was about to drop a very interesting secret. "I heard the girls saying that Sasuke likes girls with long hair, and they have all started to grow it out,"
"I heard that the hottest girl in the whole school has a crush on him, and she's planning to confess herself to him," Kisame said. "Do you know how big that is? She's so into her studies, that she doesn't date, but for him, they say she's making the exception."
"You two have heard a lot of weird things about me,"
"That's right, we've heard a lot of things about Sasuke," Kyuubi nodded his head.
He paused though when he realized that the one that had spoken had not been Itachi, but Sasuke, who was suddenly standing in front of him and Kisame. "SASUKE!" they both jumped, shock running through them. Their faces went red in embarrassment at having been caught talking about him and they started to apologize.
The boy narrowed his eyes. "Leave, both of you," he said in a commanding tone.
Kisame and Kyuubi, under other circumstances, would have argued and denied following Sasuke's orders, but the two were caught under his spell. Kisame and Kyuubi left without a word, and Sasuke turned to look at Itachi, impassively.
How much of that dribble was the dominant believing about him?
"To what do I owe the pleasure of a moment alone with you?" Itachi smirked, his tone a slight tease as he locked eyes with the shorter raven.
Sasuke blushed lightly, looking away from him.
The dream he had earlier returned briefly to his mind and he felt his heart jump. He was sure Itachi could hear how nervous he was. Damn it, he wasn't supposed to show any weakness in front of him.
"I wanted to ask if you had chosen who the next goose will be," Sasuke finally said, his eyes still evading Itachi's.
"Not yet," Itachi said, walking closer to Sasuke.
The shorter raven jumped a bit, this time turning his head to look at Itachi and taking a step back from him while baring his fangs.
Itachi took a step closer, not detoured by Sasuke's hostility. He stopped when he was mere inches away from the boy and waited for Sasuke to calm his heckles. Noting that Itachi was not going to make any sudden attacks on him, Sasuke calmed but kept his guard up.
There was no telling what Itachi would do!
"I had a suggestion," Sasuke said, bringing his hand up to cover his mouth where his fangs still showed, and now gave him a slight lisp. He wanted to force them back, but Itachi was so close, he could smell the comforting scent of his skin.
"What's your suggestion?" Itachi asked, his eyes taking in every movement that Sasuke made, following every line of his body.
Sasuke's every nerve seemed to catch fire, "You're too close," he murmured, his eyes watering as he held himself back from crooning at Itachi.
"Not close enough," Itachi rebutted, reaching for Sasuke's hand. It was covering his face from him.
Sasuke breath hitched softly, watching the way Itachi turned his hand so that it was facing his, their fingers sliding between each other. Sasuke looked past their intertwined fingers, only to lock eyes with Itachi.
Itachi wasn't smirking, nor was he trying to tease him. His face was devoid from any emotion that wasn't serious, and tender. Sasuke shuddered, allowing the warmth of Itachi's fingers to seep into his, and he let his fingers curl with his.
"What was your suggestion, Sasuke?" Itachi asked, his voice a delightful timber in the still air between them.
Sasuke jolted back to why he had come searching for Itachi in the first place, "Well, mom is keeping a secret from dad, and that is me," Sasuke confessed, closing his eyes as he savored the feel of Itachi's hand holding his. "Tag dad, and tell him to stop being an idiot and go after mom," Sasuke said, opening his eyes once more.
Itachi's eyes had widened as he realized what was going on.
He felt like an idiot. How had he not realized it until now?
He had suspected that Sasuke was the thing that Izuna was keeping from Madara, but he had overlooked the way that Sasuke referred to them. "Izuna….turned you," he muttered. Otherwise, Sasuke wouldn't be calling him mom.
"Yes," Sasuke said, lowering his eyes as he said the next word with such caress, it had to be illegal "nii-san," it was a whisper, a lilt, a motherfucking secret, only for his ears.
Itachi felt the slow pleasure ascend at hearing Sasuke call him that. He didn't know where the reaction came from, or what it meant, but he felt an overwhelming need to claim Sasuke even more.
That was wrong…wasn't it…?
They were brothers with the same blood running through them, but they were individuals that otherwise would have never shared the same time and space if it weren't for Izuna and Madara…
In his lifetime as a human, maybe once or twice he wished for a sibling. He never got to call anyone a brother nor his sister because his mother was never able to get pregnant again. She'd often apologize for it, when she really didn't have to…
And here he was now, wanting to make this boy that would be his brother, into his lover…
Fuck it, Itachi moved closer. His lips only a hairs breath away from the submissive in front of him, he could almost taste him. "Otouto…" he called, delighted when the boy trembled, his smaller fingers tightening around his.
Sasuke was standing on his toes, wanting to close the distance between them- they were so close. Would Itachi kiss him…?
Before anything could happen between them, the bell loudly rang, starling them out of their trance, The sound of students making their inside the building had them separating, shattering the moment completely.
Sasuke gave Itachi a shy, sultry look, "Be my date for the festival?" he asked, heart pounding in his own ears.
"I would be honored," Itachi responded, dark eyes warm and soft.
Sasuke smiled widely and then ran off to his next class, completely happy with Itachi's answer.
Itachi silently watched him go, his fingers tingling from where they had been holding Sasuke's. The time was getting closer to make Sasuke his mate.
He had absolutely no doubts in his mind.
He was anticipating the moment.
Izuna was overwhelmed with the amounts of girls that were asking him out all at once, and Sasuke was being no help. In fact his son seemed to come in and out of a daze, almost like he was daydreaming.
Strange, Sasuke never daydreamed…
There was no doubt in his mind that Sasuke had to be in love! There was just something that bothered Izuna, and he had to come out and say it because nothing that he had planned had panned out so far. Keeping Sasuke away from Naruto seemed impossible because the blond was so dense!
"So, I've noticed that you've gotten closer to Naruto, are you going to be asking him out to the festival?" Izuna said as soon as they got free and were able to make it to the safety of their dorm.
"What, no" Sasuke immediately retorted, the hazy look on his face replace with repulsion at the mention of the blond.
"Yeah right, with the way that he calls you out and pulls you along," Izuna fluttered his eyelashes, "I have no doubt that you and him are playing boyfriends,"
"We're just friends," Sasuke rolled his eyes, moving to get away from his patronizing mother.
"Sasuke, Sasuke, darling," Izuna called with a light purr as he pulled the boy over to him, "You smell like guilt,"
"I do not!" Sasuke hissed, breaking away from Izuna easily. Izuna pouted, crossing his arms. "How about you get off my case and get your shit together instead, mom, you know like dealing with my so called father," Sasuke moved to leave into his room when Izuna appeared at the door, blocking his way by leaning against the frame.
"Come to think of it, who did you choose to be the next goose, I would have expected some questions about the person who tagged you but I got nothing," Izuna crossed his arms, waiting for answers.
Sasuke looked away with a slight scowl, "I chose the next goose already," he lied, "I am not telling you king duck,"
Izuna took a deep breath, "Don't cross me Sasuke, this is my game,"
Sasuke turned to look at Izuna, eyes narrowed, "You think I am not playing fairly?"
"I think there is something going on that you are not telling me," Izuna walked over to Sasuke, flicking his index finger under his nose. This made Sasuke flinch, and bring his hand to cover his poor nose. "Don't you dare forget that Naruto fucking killed you!"
"I remember," Sasuke muttered, bitterly, "You don't have to fucking remind me."
"Good, because I would never allow you to date him," Izuna said, walking past Sasuke.
"Who ever said that you would have a say on who I date?" Sasuke snapped, turning to his so called mother.
"As long as it isn't Naruto, my dear," Izuna called, walking out on him. Sasuke growled, but finally got to his room and slammed the door closed. He hated being told what to do. Not that he would date Naruto, ever.
But still…
Sasuke noted a rose on his bed, a beautiful red gradient in yellow. Sasuke sat down, bringing the rose close to him and smirked. At the end of all of this, he was the one holding all the pieces, and Izuna will have to come clean sooner, rather than later.
"Let's see how you deal with this, mother," he muttered to himself.
After all, he had Itachi.
That was more than Izuna had at the moment.
Okay next one XD I've had to read through, and did some corrections.
I don't think i remember where this was going so let's try to figure it out!
