He probably should've just kept him mouth shut. Yes, that definitely would've been better than to argue about muggle dentistry. Sitting in the reception area, Cedric was sulking and dreading the sounds coming out of the door beside him. He cringed every time he heard a screeching noise and turned to see Hermione staring at the chilled glass of the fish tank. Glancing at her, he couldn't figure out why she was so calm about the whole ordeal. Can't she hear the screeches? The drill with it's pointy and diamond encrusted tip that can cut through- Cutting off his thoughts, he groaned inaudibly before cringing again.

Placing her hand on top of his, Hermione gave it a squeeze before letting it rest there. She knew that he uncomfortable with the office but honestly what was there to be scared of? Hermione was there for a routine check up with her parents and thought that it was a good idea to bring in Cedric as well. Was it really her fault that he kept complaining about a toothache? Besides her parents are the best dentists she knew and they weren't about to stop now. Hearing the door open and her mother call, Hermione stood up while pulling Cedric to his feet. Following her mother behind the door, Cedric walked at a slower pace as if he was going to prison.

"Honestly Cedric, it's not that bad," Hermione commented.

"You said I only had to come with you, not get a check up," Cedric muttered.

"Well maybe if you, Ron, and Harry stop eating so much candy then maybe I wouldn't have had to take you."

"I am not a child."

"But you're acting like one."

"No such thing."

"Yes you are... Look if you get this check up I'll promise to do anything you want," Hermione bribed.

"Anything?" Cedric asked with interest.

"If it's not illegal and within reason," she clarified.

"You're no fun," he pouted.
