Seeing the Spartans raising their weapons, Lorena raised her own, choosing which one to target. What puzzled her more than choosing which one was the bigger threat, was figuring out what or who she was looking at. They were heavily armored and bulky like a Titan, but had helmets with big visors similar to a Warlocks. She heard stories of Guardians going rouge or just being stationed far away for long periods of time like the Iron Lord's, but they looked almost alien like. As she stood there figuring them out, one of the spartans called out to her, though she didn't know which spoke, their faces hiding behind their visors. She frowned even more puzzled now. The same voice called out again, but before she could ask Raven if she knew what was being said she felt three rounds in her chest, and more whiz by her head.

"Ow!!" She exlaimed, thanking the Traveler that her shields still worked, she shot at the silver-white figure and saw it's neck snap back from the power of the handcannon. A web of energy spread from the impact and electricity sparked.

"So they got shields huh? What kind of Crucible is this?" She asked no one.

"Again, I suggest not dying because I don't know if I can bring you back." Raven replied anxiously.

Lorena kept firing, watching her shields drain, feeling sore from so many shots peppering her body. Her head snapped backwards and her vision blurred, she was able to see the last of her shields fail and she ran for cover.

"Fuck it, I'm not gonna wait and see if I can't come back. Cayde, I'm taking a page out of your book." She told herself, waiting for just a chunk of her shields to recharge before stepping out from cover, her hands raised, dropping Free Will III.

"Are you crazy!? What in the Traveler's name do you think this would work?" Raven screamed in her head. Lorena just shrugged to her before the figures got to them.

Locke was baffled at the terrorist's tactics. It's been years since the last terrorist attack, and when he was still an ONI spook. He smirked at the memory of his past, though he had to push that out of his head as he has to deal with the threat right here. Tanaka and Buck had gotten the terrorist onto her knees and placed the armor restraint on her, Locke felt glad to be able to have it used on someone else that wasn't him or his team.

"You might wanna take a look at this Locke." Vale said, handing him the pistol. Locke studied the weapon, it was much heavier than he expected. He felt like there was a rifle in his hand rather than a pistol.

"I fought a lot of terrorists before I fought Covies, and I never once seen them use anything like an old revolver from the Old Old West on Earth." Commented Buck while taking the pistol, "Though I do like how well it fits and how bad-ass I feel."

Vale chuckled, shaking her head. "You should stop playing with your toy while we deal wi-"

Vale was cut off as a small teal green object let our a loud trill before speaking.

"Hey! Please don't think of us as terrorists. We just crashed here and my Guardian is badly injured and it just took us just barely to figure out what you were saying." It's pointed shell twisted and pulsed.

Sorry for the very long wait and short chapter. I wanted to get it out without having to wait longer for life and shit, so I hope you enjoy. And thank you so much for being patient, I really appreciate it, and enjoying my little fanfic. I promise I'll try and get it out sooner and it be longer.
