CHAPTER-2
It was five years since the death of Padme Amidala, Leia Organa was staring out of the window. Her father Bail Organa was calling her.
"Leia, Leia, where are you? It is time to sleep princess. Leia. Oh there you are." He said finding her in front of the window staring into the night sky of Alderaan. "Come on, momma is waiting. What happened Leia?" he asked when he saw the young girl continue to stare at the night sky.
"Dadda, why are the mountains so tall?" she asked her father.
"Because Leia Organa sneezed on them." He replied tickling the young Skywalker.
Breha Organa came in time to see the bonding between the two. She remembered her old friend. Few minutes after putting Leia to sleep she went besides her husband in front of the window.
"She has her mother's laugh." She said. "And her father's stubbornness." He replied.
"She will come the next year to take her, won't she?"
"I don't know. She said she would train her here so she would be close to the rebellion."
"Bail, I'm afraid. She is still too young."
"I know Breha, I know. But the galaxy needs them. The galaxy needs the children of Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. It needs them."
"Luke, Luke, stop playing with sharp, pointy things. You will hurt yourself. Luke." Beru Lars was warning young Luke who was playing with her husband's tools.
"Ma, but I am very careful." The young Luke replied in his sweet voice.
"Yes, yes you are very careful. Give those to me now."
"Okay." He gave it with a grumpy face. "Ma, why does Tatooine has two suns?"
"Because Luke Lars never hears to his Ma. Now time to sleep come on."
"No I want to see the moon. No."
"Luke. Stop right there. You are going to bed young man. That's it." Beru ran after Luke and brought him inside and made him sleep.
Owen Lars had just arrived. Beru went inside and brought a glass of water for her husband.
"Is my little man asleep?"
"With great difficulty. He is just like his father, stubborn."
"Yes, but his voice is more like his mother, sweeter than yours."
"Excuse me! I'm your wife. Your father should have heard to this."
"Come on Beru, you know I love you."
"I know. I'm just afraid. He said he would train when he is of age. Will he come next year?"
"I don't know. I won't allow him to train Luke. He said he would train him here so that he would be close to us but still. I will not allow him to train him."
"Owen, please rethink about it. He and the girl are the only hopes of the galaxy."
"Obi-wan failed my brother, Anakin Skywalker, Beru. How can I allow him to train him? I will allow anyone else but not him, never."
Both of them stared at the last sun setting. Far away, he sat there with Maul's body in his arms he stared at the setting sun. He will avenge us. That was what Maul's last statement was. HE will avenge US.
