CHAPTER-7

Two days after Ahsoka and the group had landed on Alderaan, Ahsoka and Leia had to leave. Everybody bid their farewell. The Mandalorians left, Cal decided to go and help the rebellion and the two were on their way to Tatooine.

"Well, we are going to a planet which is controlled by the Hutts, has maximum amount of slave trade and drug dealings. What could go wrong?"

"Remember what I taught you Leia, stay patient and calm. Let's look at the positive side; it is your home planet from a certain point of view."

"Why do I sense that something bad will happen?"

"Future is always in motion young one."

"I know. But still we are meeting them after sixteen years. We don't even know whether they are alive or not. I'm just anxious."

"I used to feel the same way whenever I had a new mission but I knew whatever the outcome was, it was a lesson. You need to accept your emotion and stop putting it in the corner."

"I try to but the outcomes of that are not very pleasant."

"Look around yourself Leia, you will find that no matter how cruel the universe is there is always a light which would help those who seek it. The darkness is present within all of us, even if we can't see it. That is the essence of the force. There is always a light at the end of a tunnel."

Leia simply nodded at this. The ship landed near the outskirts of Mos Eisly. The two walked down and walked towards a dessert. After walking for an hour or so the two came across a hut. Ahsoka went forward and knocked on the door while Leia stood her ground and had held her lightsaber in her hand. The door was answered by an old man in Jedi robes.

"Ah, Ahsoka it's pleasant to see you and you too, Leia."

"Thank you Master Kenobi."

"HE is Master Obi-wan Kenobi!"

"Yes."

"Why don't you two come inside? It is not pleasant to have conversations held at door."

"Of course, Master Kenobi."

The two walked in as Obi-wan stood aside to let them. As they two were seated, he closed the door and sat beside them.

"So what would my old friend and my former apprentice's daughter have? Perhaps some tea. You must try it, it indeed is wonderful."

"Some tea would be wonderful, Master Kenobi."

"I thought we were here for something else."

"Father's daughter, always rushing into things, I now see why you wanted to train her."

"Well I haven't pretty much heard any appreciations, so thanks I guess."

"I see she has given you your father's lightsaber."

"Oh this, yeah. Whenever I'm slightly near to him, I feel everything he did with this lightsaber. I can also feel the expression he had inside him when he murdered those younglings."

At this point Obi-wan turned to face Ahsoka who was smiling and listening to the conversation.

"Perhaps I should get the tea done." Obi-wan said as he got up and went to the kitchen. Few minutes later he came back into the hall with a tray which had three cups. Each cup was different, one was black, another was white and the third one was grey. He placed the tray on the table. The Jedi master and Ahsoka patiently observed as Leia instinctively reached for the black one. Ahsoka then took the white one leaving the grey one for him. After finishing the tea, the three placed their cup on the tray.

"So Leia, why are you here?" Obi-wan started.

"To find my brother and start his training."

"It could be possible that I have already trained him."

"If you did then he would be in your hut."

"Hmm, it could also be possible that I sent him on a mission."

"Ahsoka told me that you were a pretty formal guy. A guy like you will not let a sixteen year old on his own mission."

"She told you that, didn't she?"

"Well I just said so."

"It could also be possible that Darth Vader would have taken him and trained him."

"If that were so then you wouldn't be here."

"Why though?"

"Because you would have saved him or died trying to do so."

"I see you have thought over it."

"It's not that difficult you know."

"It might not be that difficult at all. Now tell me why you went for the black cup?"

"Does it matter that much?"

"You have no idea."

"I don't know, probably because I found it interesting."

"Now tell me, the tea which was in the cups were all the same, then why did the cup you chose was interesting for you alone?"

"Maybe because I liked the color."

"Maybe is never an answer my child."

"I-I don't know."

"It is because you are conflicted from inside about who you are."

"I am Leia Skywalker. I don't find any confliction inside when I said that."

"You won't because you aren't ready to accept it. Acceptance is a major lesson one must learn. By accepting yourself, you not only accept your true identity but you also accept the past and live with the future."

"I-I don't understand."

"You won't so quickly, my child."

After this the three walked towards a residency. Leia kept whatever Obi-wan said in the back, her main goal as of now was to meet her brother. The three stopped in front of the door, Ahsoka pointed towards the door and Leia moved over and knocked. A response was heard. The three were greeted by a lady. "Hello, how can I help you?" she asked gently before landing her eyes on Obi-wan. "What are YOU doing here?"

"Who is it?" a voice could be heard. The four turned to find a boy of age sixteen coming.

"Luke, go inside, I will call you."

"Okay."

At this time Leia blurted out. "Luke-Luke Skywalker?"

"No, Luke Lars. And you are?"

"Leia, Leia Skywalker. Your sister."

"W-what? I don't have any s-sister."

"You do." Leia said before looking at Beru who had bent her head.

"Please go away." Beru said softly before shutting the door. As she was shutting the door, Leia stopped it and pushed back the door.

"Leia, no." Ahsoka whispered.

"No, Master, he needs to know."

"It can be done in a simpler way."

"No, it HAS to be this way."

"Fine, so be it."

Beru watched in horror as the three walked inside their house. She then started pleading. "No, please leave; leave before he finds you are in here. Leia please listen to me. Please leave, no."

"Beru, what is going on?" a voice came from the hall.

"Nothing just some tourists. Please leave."

"It better not be stormtroopers."

After that a man came from the hall, "I've told them a hundred times that we have paid our taxes-" he stopped on his tracks as he saw the three inside his house. His eyes first landed on Kenobi. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING INSIDE MY HOUSE? GET OUT THIS INSTANT." He screamed. Beru started pleading her husband to calm down, "No, Owen, please calm down. Please don't scream." She pleaded. Luke then said, "Dad, dad let them in. They might just be in the wrong address. We can be peaceful and not start screaming at each. Leia, please put your lightsaber away. It is going to make the matters worse." He said as he dragged Owen into the hall. Leia did as told and all of them went inside the hall. Owen Lars was fuming, Luke was comforting him. Beru went in to bring some tea. Everyone had accepted the tea.

"Why are you here? Who are these two?" Owen started.

"We are here for an important mission. I am Leia Skywalker and this is Ahsoka Tano."

"We don't want to do anything with the Jedi."

"And yet you house one."

"How dare you?"

"Please stop." Luke started. "Can you stop making the matters worse?"

"As someone said I am my father, no our father's daughter."

"Look I don't know who you guys are. You just barged inside my house and called me your brother."

"Excuse me, I am here for- Wait there's danger."

"What sort of danger? Are you talking about the one inside? If you are then do know that you are not an intruder."

"Oh, ha-ha."

Leia got up and clutched her lightsaber. She picked a feeling which she knew. "Tuskens." She said under her breath. Ahsoka and Obi-wan got up too. Luke followed the suit and took his long range sniper. "That will be of no use. Put it away." Leia said.

Before Luke could respond the Tuskens had broken in and had started pointing their blasters at them. The three force sensitives ignited their lightsaber. The Tuskens began shooting. The Lars had hidden themselves under the table.

"I will go and deal with ones outside." Leia said as she jumped out of the window and sprinted towards the front door. There she found a whole tribe of Tuskens troubling the civilians. The lightsaber in her hand had much more power than before. Few she cut in the midsection, few were impaled. She moved through them swiftly without hurting the civilians. The civilians quickly got up and went inside the shops for safety. After dealing with the ones outside she ran in. She found the Tuskens on the floor. The Lars emerged out of the table. "The ones outside?" Ahsoka asked. "Dealt with." Leia replied.

The three looked at the Lars. "So what have you decided? Let him just stay here while his legacy awaits him or let him take part in the journey." Ahsoka asked them as she looked at the son of the chosen one. Owen looked at his wife and told them "We will let you know."

"So be it."

The three were on their way to Obi-wan's hut when a civilian started screaming. "Look they are Jedi, traitors of the empire. Call the stormtroopers."

"Hey we just saved your lives." Leia responded.

"Saved our lives or not you are traitors."

"Listen here civilian. We do not want any problem."

"Look she just threatened me."

At this point all the civilians started to take matters into their own hands and threw rocks at the three. Leia was about to respond but was stopped by Ahsoka. The three used force speed to get out of the place. Leia who was new to the skill started panting. Obi-wan then joked. "That is what happened to me when I first used it, just in a worse case. I started panting and was dizzy. I then decided to not use it again. Trust me it was a way more horrible experience. But I think the child of the chosen one must have some inbuilt defense."

"Oh real funny."

The three got in the hut and awaited the response of the Lars.

"What do you think will happen Ahsoka?" Leia asked.

"I don't know. We shall be patient. Whatever it might be, we need to be ready."

"I have a bad feeling."

"I know."
