Mai Pov.

I was gathering my stuff when I felt it… The pain in my stomach was so great that I actually fell over and cried out in pain. It felt like I was being stabbed with a white hot knife. I cried out in agony again, my eyes cloud over with black dots, I began to get dizzy, and I heard my name being called as I drifted out of consciousness.

I was very confused at why out of nowhere I had been feeling this pain but then I realized that I was no longer in my own body.

The girls who's body I was in seemed like a familiar build, it was not my pain I was feeling but hers.

"I can't believe this! How could you be so selfish!?" a man yelled.

I looked up to see him standing over me fist still curled.

"I just wanted to let you know! I am not asking for anything else!" I exclaimed.

"YOU PROMISED ME THAT THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN!" he shouted even louder while pulling his leg back as though he was about to kick me, my hands flew to my stomach and I curled up in a ball to protect what was there.

"Ahhh", I screamed in pain.

How could this happen? He was always so loving? I thought he loved me? He told me he loved me.

Why? Why was this happening?

I felt things start to sway, shift and flicker.

Thank the spirits I was coming too.

I slowly blinked as I came around, I was on the floor still but there was something under my head, it smelled of tea and paper.

Na-no , I thought this must be his coat.

"Well that was a bang to the end of the class", I say rather sheepishly. "I must be on my way now. More classes to get to".

"Mai, are you alright?" asked, while suspiciously eying me.

"Oh yeah I'm fine, I just forgot to eat breakfast and got up too quickly. See yah" I said while scurrying away.

I was breathing rather heavily as I made it to the library. I looked around for an empty seat, once I found one I collapsed.

Well now that's a situation?Why do I feel like I am about to go through a lot of trouble?I thought

Oh well no point in dwelling on it.

I pulled out my syllabus for one of my biology classes, there is an assignment due in 2 weeks for this class, might as well get started.
