In the magical land of Chima, the exiled serpentine awakens to a new world of thick jungle and dangerous wildlife. In the mist of this chaos, General Arcturus attempts to maintain control over the wayward serpents.
Waking up after their impromptu arrival, Arcturus looks around, trying to gain his bearings.
"Huh, where are we?" Looking around Arcturus can se the rest of the serpentine still on the ground. Around them, appears to be a tick jungle.
"Did it even work, it doesn't feel like Ninjago, but it doesn't seem so different." He asks to himself, wondering aloud.
"What in the devourer just happened?" he hears behind him, looking towards the notice he sees the rest of the tribes slowly waking.
"We were banished, apparently" replied Arcturus, slithering toward the other snake. He appeared to be a Hypnobrai warrior.
"WHAT! Those ungrateful, good for nothing…"
"SILENCE" yelled Arcturus.
"Gather the others, there is much to discuss" he said with a serious look on his face.
Later that day, the five serpentine tribes gather to discuss their situation. Gathering on an open clearing, the tribes are clearly nervous and anxious at their situation.
"THIS IS UNASEPTABLE" "WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?" "HOW ARE WE GOING TO SURVIVE".
"QUIET!"
"I know you are all worried about our situation, but we must not give in to despair. If we are to survive, we must first be organized. For the time being, I shall lead you on this endeavor." Said Arcturus, quickly taking control of the situation.
"WHY SHOULD WE LISTEN TO YOU!" one of the serpentine said.
"Yeah, you were the one that thought trusting a human was a good idea!" another added.
"That'sss right Arcturus, it was you how trusted Chen!" one of the other generals said, Acidicus, the new chief of the Venomari.
"He was probably responsible for our defeat, a deceiver, just like the old stories." He said, referencing the old stories he loved to read.
"Acidicus is right! Give us one good reason why we should listen to you!" exclaimed Skalidor, the Constrictai general.
"WHY, why! Who was the one to gather the waring tribes into a single unit, who was it that lead you victory after victory, who had to lose friends and family in the name of OUR cause!" He yelled at the others, who could only mumble and look away.
"That's right, me! While it is true that our alliance with Chen was a mistake, I have always had the tribe's best interest at hand." He proclaimed as the others looked at him.
"I am not asking you to like me, I am asking you to listen to me so that we can survive this new real that the humans have sent us to." He finished, authority tripping from his voice.
"What would you have us do!" Skalidor said.
"First things first, reconnaissance! Take have of your men to explore the surrounding area. The other half shall remain here, to help in the construction of a temporary den." Ordered the Anacondrai general.
"In the meantime, the rest begin to take inventory, see what we have and what we need!" he continued.
"If we are to survive this place, we must be prepared for whatever is thrown at us, now go!" he finishes.
Later, atop a ledge overlooking the clearing, Arcturus watches his people work. He looks out at their work, making sure that they follow his word. From behind him, another serpent approaches.
"General Arcturus, I come with the inventory report!" the serpent said, Pythor P. Chumsworth, a fellow Anacondrai.
Arcturus merely stared at him, Pythor was a curious individual, arrogant, scheming, and with no qualms about tricking others into furthering his own goals, in short, a coward.
But he was useful, intelligent, and always trying to climb the social ladder, which means that he was loyal, for now.
"Report!" said Arcturus.
"Yes, well, in terms of armaments, we are woefully unarmed, aside from the tribal staffs we appear to only have a handful of weapons, including our Anacondrai swords. In terms of food, we have none, we'll need to form a hunting party." Pythor reported.
"What of the children, did the vipers made it okay." Asked Arcturus.
"Yes, some of them. The Fangpyre and Hypnobrai have the most, followed by the Venomari and the Constrictai. As for us, only one; but a very important one. It's our serpent's child, small for now but if is anything like its mother, it will be a great weapon for conquest." He finished.
"Conquest? What conquest! We don't even know if there's anyone out there! And even if there is, our focus should be to survive, not to conquer." Proclaimed Arcturus.
"Yes, yes, of course Sir." Pythor said, looking away from him.
"General Arcturus, there you are!" Skalidor cried.
"General Skalidor, you've returned. What is your reconnaissance report?" said the general.
"Of course, we appear to be surrounded by a green, foggy swamp fill with carnivorous predator plants. There also appears to be a large network of caves that could prove useful in the future." Skalidor reported.
"Well done general. What about inhabitants?" Arcturus asked.
"Aside for some wildlife, nothing. However, we couldn't see past a particular thick batch of vines and fog. So, it is possible that there could be something out there." He answered.
"Huh, well done general, this should do for now. Join the others in the building process. I have a feeling we're in for quite the surprise in this place." Arcturus finished, looking towards the horizon and the mysterious mountain off in the distance.
