"I'll tell you later, Cas."
Jack brought a light palm to Cas's shoulder.
In the flap of a wing, they both stood at a summit. Jack gestured to the sheer drop at their feet, the wind ruffling both their hair and clothes.
"A surprise before."
"Oh?"
Cas tilted his head, intrigued. Jack grinned like a child with candy.
"Go on, stretch your wings!"
Cas' eyes widened. He took a step closer to the precipice, flapped his majestic motley wings and took to the heavens with a happy leap.
His cheeks glistened, a beatific smile of pure happiness on his face.
