Alright so I decided to make this out of curiosity to see if people would like this kind of story. It should be known that I have actually never played Deltarune before but I have watched videos of it and have Big Shot stuck in my head constantly. While it's not going to be following the chapters like the Cyber World or Card Castle there will be characters, items and other stuff from the game. And guess I figured I'd try my luck at writing a crossover for it. I hope you like it and as always I DO NOT OWN anything, Deltarune and RWBY belong to their respective owners. With that, on with the show.

Chapter 001: Into a World of Darkness:

Jaune was worried as he laid on his bed, it was clear that something was wrong since Pyrrha got called to see the headmaster, the blond knight laid in his bed in worry as beside him was his teammates, in particular, Nora Valkaryie and Lie Ren. The bubbly orange-haired hammer wielder jumped on her bed while spouting off different possibilities about why she was called in to see Ozpin while Ren, being the more grounded and the voice of reason corrected her on some of her more… out there suggestions.

"I'm just saying it's not going to happen, Nora" Ren said as he sat down on his bed and watched the huntress-to-be stop jumping. She looked at him unconvinced before plopping down on the neatly made bed with a frown.

"You sure about that, Ren. I mean we did beat that other team practically in one blow, and that was awesome enough for us to get a free mascot for Team JNPR, right?" she asked as Ren sighed. While he would normally entertain his childhood friend's overactive imagination he really didn't think he could when she said, and he quoted, "We are getting our own pet Sloth for being in the quarter-finals."

"Guys, I don't think it's some kind of reward… I just hope it's not a punishment" Jaune worried as he looked out the window and frowned. 'I mean it's been almost an hour now… shouldn't she be back?' he thought concerned as Nora frowned as well, but not for the same reasons as Jaune did.

"Nah, I mean we didn't do anything wrong… I mean besides me breaking some legs during sparing" she began to list off as the boys both remembered that day where she got detention for "Accidently" breaking someone's leg. While it was considered an accident and they were able to walk again after a month, it was a memory all of them would remember if Professor Goodwitch's scolding at her was anything to go by.

"Or when Pyrrha decimated Team CRDL" she said with a large smile as she remembered that day as Jaune and Ren also smiled at that as well. Pyrrha was known as the so-called "Goddess of Victory" for a reason. But besides her unusual talents at fighting in tournaments but also the fame on the Pumpkin Pete cereal box, she was their best friend, a great teammate and in one very dense blonds' case, a mentor who clearly had feelings for him, Nora and Ren even had a bet to see how long he noticed if he ever got passed the obsession with the "Snow Princess" of their sister team.

So far, twenty Lien was in Ren's favor…

"Or the time Ren tried to kill everything related to breakfast" she said as if he had done some illegal and irresponsible action. Ren however gave her a flat look as he himself was somewhat offended. There was nothing wrong in providing his team with healthier food choices such as smoothies, protein meals and other such things to help them on their day… even if Nora found them a little awful to taste.

"…Oh, wait… do you think it's because of Jaune's transcripts?" she asked as Jaune just gave out a moan of despair as he thought they were already passed that. Heck after everything in Forever Fall regarding Team CDRL, the blond swordsman apologized to his team for giving them a cold shoulder, apologized, for faking his transcripts, apologized to Ozpin who already knew before he was even made leader of his team and even apologized to Team RWBY, who in some cases had to forgive him considering their dark pasts.

A certain cat's in particular… after all she was a former White Fang member and ex-terrorist and she was forgiven nearly immediately by Team RWBY. Seemed kind of hypocritical when they forgave a criminal over a faker and it was something that Nora and not-so-surprisingly Pyrrha stressed quite a bit privately to the white-themed heiress a few times until she gave in.

"I thought we agreed not to talk about that anymore…" he muttered annoyed as Nora shrugged. Oh well it's not like it actually mattered by that point. Jaune was able to stay, Pyrrha had trained him to be the somewhat fearless leader he would one day be and they would take the Vytal Festival tournament by storm and take first while showing them how great Team JNPR really were…

And then there would be pancakes to celebrate. Nora drooled a little in her own thoughts of the syrupy goodness while Ren shook his head amused.

"Well, whatever it is, I'm sure Pyrrha would be back soon. How about we head out to the fair grounds, I'm sure she'll meet us there later, if not we can always bring her some cotton candy" Ren said as Jaune nodded, yeah that sounded like a good idea.

"Ooh, before we go I have to use the bathroom real quick" Nora said as Ren and Jaune both got up. "It won't take too long, I'll be right… back…" she trailed off as she opened the bathroom door and was greeted with darkness. No signs of light dared to emerge as darkness was all that was in there. The fact that she shot her arm in the room and fiddled with the wall to find a light switch was also a little worrying; her look of confusion was evident of that. "G-guys, what's wrong with our bathroom?" she asked nervously as both boys stared at the room in confusion.

"Something… isn't right here" Ren said as Nora nodded, Jaune looked a little worried as he reached for a flashlight and turned it on, as he did the light peered into the other side until not even the light managed to make contact, all it was, was just a room of darkness. "I think we should tell someone…" Ren said as Jaune nodded.

"Or~" Nora said in a sing-song voice, "We can check it out" she said excitingly as she wanted to see just why their bathroom was like that. Jaune openly stared at the girl in disbelief as Ren sighed.

"Nora, normally I'd kind of humor you, but even you have to admit that this isn't normal" Ren stressed as Nora nodded, yeah, of course it wasn't normal, bathrooms don't just turn into dark hallways or something, she wanted to check it out, and grabbing her hammer with an eager grin promising something being broken, she walked right in.

"Keep the light on me, fearless leader, we're going in" she said as Ren tried to grab her, only to have her rush off into the darkness.

"Nora!" Ren shouted as he gave chase, thankfully having Storm Flower with him at all times and gave chaise. Jaune panicked but was thankful that Crocea Mors was strapped to his waist as he hesitantly followed them into the room. "Nora what are you thinking?! You can't just run in here, we don't even know where this is?!" Ren shouted at her as she frowned.

"I know… but the door's open and we have light so it's not like we can't protect ourselves, right?" she asked as Jaune and Ren gave her a small glare as she sighed. "Fine, alright I admit this was kind of stupid of me going in here at all… but what the hell are we going to do about this, because I'm pretty sure Professor Goodwitch is going to be pissed that this happened" the hammer-wielding girl said as Jaune sighed.

"For now I think we should all get out of here before-" Jaune started to say before he turned and walked into something, or more accurately, the door. "Oof, huh, what the…?" Jaune muttered confused as he gripped the hand on the door knob he was able to see.

"Jaune! Why did you close the door?" Ren asked as Jaune tried to open said door.

"I didn't close it, Ren… it closed by itself!" Jaune shouted as he tried to get it unstuck, Nora frowned as she held her hammer with a grin still on her face.

"Ooh, Jaune, let me" she volunteered as Jaune nodded, stepping back as she walked up to the door with Ren and Jaune behind her. As she raised her hammer to the air, she laughed slightly at the thought of it needing a bit of a woman's touch. Preferably one with a hammer. Bringing it down with the intention of destroying it, to her and everyone else's shock, the door withstood the attack, Nora blinked in confusion as she let out a frown. "Must not have hit it hard enough…" she said as she attempted it again.

"Nora… I don't think!" Ren said a little worried as once again the assault did nothing to open or crack the wood of the door.

"…Okay, yeah we're stuck here… any ideas?" she asked worried as Jaune just looked at Ren in fear. The man looked at his leader's hand, most noticeably the flashlight and sighed.

"Well at least we still have a light source" he said, trying to remain positive before the flashlight coincidently began to fizzle out, leaving all three teenagers alone in the strange darkness that was once their bathroom.

"…You just had to say that, didn't you, Ren?" Jaune said with a sarcastic quip as Nora sighed.

"Well, I guess if we can't find a way out by the door we might as well explore, right?" she asked as Ren shook his head before grabbing Nora's hand, which made her blush slightly. After grabbing Jaune's Ren spoke up.

"Whatever this is, we can't get separated, let's just find the exit or stay here. If we have any luck Pyrrha will be back soon and we can call for help…" Ren said as Jaune nodded, yeah, that was a good idea. As they prepared to wait, they suddenly heard something; it was a banging sound of sorts.

"…Uh, guys… what was that?" Jaune asked nervously as the noticed something, the floor before them, a white light seemed to escape from the ground, a small crack of sorts was currently exposed with whatever light that it produced illuminating the room to some degree. "T-that wasn't always there" Jaune said nervously as suddenly the small crack began to grow as the cracking of the floor was heard, much to their fear.

"We need to get out, now!" Ren said as Jaune nodded, Nora once again pounding on the door.

"I know, come on you stupid door, open up!" Nora shouted as the cracking grew worse. Ren immediately reached for Storm Flower, pointing it at the door and shooting it around Nora, the orange haired girl letting out a small squeak of panic as the bullets of dust were fired at the door, yet the wood persisted strongly. That wasn't good.

Now the crack began to form a hole and Ren was concerned, as the cracks reached their feet, he deployed one of his weapon's features, shooting two wires that appeared to jab into the darkened walls as Nora and Jaune quickly grabbed him. Soon enough afterwards, the floor fully caved, leaving the trio falling through and dangling from Storm Flower alone.

"Oh man, this is bad, what are we going to do?!" Jaune shouted in panic as Nora spoke up.

"Don't look at me, I'm not the idea guy" she said as Ren focused more on what was supporting them, the blades of his weapon were starting to loosen as that made him begin to panic more.

"Guys, we have a problem!" he said as they looked at where he was looking at in a form of dread forming in their stomachs. Before they could say anything however, they heard a voice from the other side of the door.

"I'm back!" Pyrrha said as she seemed a little worried. Looking at the door, they all stared before they each made a decision. "…Guys?" she asked as she wondered if she was alone in their dorm room.

"Pyrrha, we're in the bathroom, open the door quickly!" Jaune shouted.

"We're going to fall-hurry-hurry-hurry-hurry!" the pleas of Nora said.

"Wait, Nora, stop struggling or else we're going to fa-Ahlll!" Ren began but screamed as the blades were loosened to the point they were detached from the dark walls with Jaune, Nora and him all falling into the abyss below. Seconds later, Pyrrha's voice was heard.

"Well I guess they aren't around…" she said depressed, and then she realized something and looked towards the window. "Maybe they're at the fair, I mean we did agree to go today…" she said as she noticed something. A light was on in the bathroom, confused by that she knocked on the door. There was no answer and that made her curious. Reaching for the handle, the door opened easily and seeing a turned on flashlight laying in the middle of the bathroom, she turned on the lights and walked in.

She didn't know why there was a flashlight in the middle of the bathroom but shrugged as she looked around, it didn't seem like they were using it. With a shrug she turned off the lights and walked out, wondering where the rest of her team was. She was worried to say the least, at least with what she learned from Ozpin and the rest of the teachers.

She didn't know what to do; maybe she just wanted to vent her mind to someone…

'Maybe they're at the fair, plus I could use some food, maybe that would… help things a little' she said sadly as she left the door room, looking for her team or maybe someone from Team RWBY-no, it was too personal for them. Shaking her head, she headed towards the grounds to clear her head.

"What the hell is going on?!" Jaune shouted in fear as he, Ren and Nora all fell as Nora held onto her hammer tightly while Ren tried to shoot another tether to the walls, only for his weapon to seemingly jam. "Ren?!" Jaune asked as the gunner frowned.

"It's jammed!" he said as they soon noticed something below them. Closing their eyes and shielding their faces from the bright light that consumed them, their bodies started to glow and be surrounded by their own sense of light. Ren, Nora and Jaune covered in a Green, Pink and Yellow light as soon enough their clothes began to disintegrate while they fell, thankfully as they disappeared, new clothes seemed to materialize as soon as their former attire vanished.

As the light faded, al they saw was darkness… and then finally what seemed to be solid ground. They weren't sure, not until they hit it that was as Jaune landed first on his stomach, followed by Nora and Ren who landed last. Nora was dizzy and grasped her head. Her vision slowly returning as she shook her head to dispel the dizziness.

"Oh, man… what happened…?" Nora asked as Ren frowned.

"Is everyone alright?" Ren asked, slightly out of it as Jaune moaned from below them.

"I think so…" Jaune said as both of them slowly got off of him with a frown. "Ow…" he muttered as Ren helped him to his feet. Jaune looked confused at his friend, as did Nora as instead of the normal clothes he wore, he now wore a black and white set of clothing, or rather a pair or black pants and shirt with a white belt that resembled a karate uniform, his emblem unknowingly to them placed on his back as he wore two brown boots and brown gloves. "Uh… Ren, what's with the clothes?" Jaune asked as Nora looked at her leader with a quirked eyebrow.

"I can say the same thing for you" she said as Jaune looked confused before looking down and paling. Gone were his standard clothes and hoodie and now he wore more of a leather armor padding with black gloves, and boots with a purple-tinted black shirt and dark navy blue pants. His sword was attached at the waist. The strange thing was that the sword and a shield looked like Crocea Mors but were completely different, a black sheath with a metal sword with a black handle. Thankfully it was something and that was good enough but come to think about it, Ren had a weapon to, but unlike his normal one, this one wasn't Storm Flower but a normal set of twin pistols.

"That's a good question… your clothes changed too, Nora" Ren said as Nora looked down at herself. Seeing herself wearing a pink dress-like skirt and brown boots, she also wore a matching pink coat of some sorts with a hammer strapped to her back. Looking at herself, she hummed confused before shrugging.

"I think I look really good in this" she said as Jaune sighed.

"Yeah, where exactly are we?" he asked as Ren seemed confuse as well. Before they could continue talking, a new voice spoke up for them.

"Well, would you look at that… three human light-ners have appeared" a strange voice said to them as it seemed like it was a bit playful in nature. "And here I thought that prophecy was truly just a waste of talk and time" a figure in a cloak said. Ren narrowed his eyes as he pulled out his guns, Jaune raised his new shield from the once-sheath that bared his own symbol on the front while Nora raised her hammer, ready to fight.

"Who are you, where are we…" Ren demanded as the figure merely held out his hands-err, paws? Purple paws poked out as the creature gave a laugh.

"Now, now… there's no need for fighting here, I just happened to see you fall from the sky. Not many people visit around these parts I'm afraid" he said as he raised his hood off of his head, causing all three of them to stare at the man in disbelief. "Well now, mind telling me what brings you three here?" the figure, now addressed as some kind of purple stuffed cat with a missing eye torn off or at the very least, only having one button eye, asked of them.

"Ooh, look Ren!" Nora pointed as she approached the giant, stuffed, and more importantly, living, cat plush, who frowned slightly at the young woman's eagerness and sudden excitement. "It's a talking cat doll!" she said as Ren just nodded.

"…Okay then… I'm ready to wake up now" Jaune said absent-mindedly as he came to terms that this whole thing was just some strange fever dream. The cat however gave a small laugh.

"Wake up? Sorry, friends. But I have to break it to you now, you aren't dreaming… this is very real I'm afraid… and if you're trying to go home, well I hate to tell you that there really isn't a way back to your world right now" the cat said as Jaune, Ren and Nora all stared at the cat.

"…What do you mean… and who are you anyways?" Ren asked as the cat merely grinned at them, now they were asking some of the important questions.

"My name is Seam, pronounced Shawm, I run a little Seap, pronounced Shop" the stuffed cat said as the three of them looked at him confused. "And if you three are here, that must make you the so-called Heroes of Light. You three don't really look like that much however… so" the cat said as Jaune looked at Ren and Nora, the later shrugging as Ren frowned.

"I'm sorry, but… heroes?" Jaune asked as Seam smiled at them.

"From the prophecy, of course. You do know about it, don't you?" the stuffed cat asked, getting blanks from the three. 'Uh… guess they don't know after all… well it makes no real difference to me whether I tell them or not… oh well' he thought as he pointed towards what looked like a road that lead to a squared off wall of some sorts with an open entry way for people to enter into.

"Well, I can't say I'll call you heroes but if you three want to do something for this world, I'll be in the shrine in that little area… I suggest you follow me quickly though, the dark ones are rather ravenous tonight… not like it ever gets to be morning around here anymore" he said with a laugh. As it a dark world could truly have a morning…

And as he left, Jaune, Ren and Nora were confused as to what just happened. Dark world, talking stuffed cats, heroes and prophecies? The whole thing made no sense, but still they slowly followed him to get some answers… 'And here I just wanted to enjoy the festival' Jaune thought depressed.

And there we go, like I said this is just a small story so I'll be working on this and Fallen Huntsman in the Grand Line until I can try to either focus on another story or get back into the spirit of writing Jikkan no Kishi.
