They closed the door after a short fight with the wind and breathed a sigh of relief.
- Are you OK?
- No. All good. Zuma said
Now that the emotions have subsided, they looked around, they were in what once must have been a hall.
Wooden stairs to the top and corridors to the left and right, otherwise it was empty.
- Hope you had nothing that could not be replaced in hovercraft. Chase said as he turned on his light.
- No. Zuma replied
Chase walked over to the wall that had the map board a bit worn, but most of it was readable.
- I think there's a security room on the second floor.
As they were about to start up the stairs, Chase stopped her
- I'll go first. I will check if they will not tear themselves under us.
Chase went up and zuma stayed down.
Zuma looked around, it was dark even for her, and she felt something, this scream, that primal scream at the back of her head that tells her something is there that she should run away.
Suddenly she heard a groan
She spun in the dark in front of her something moved
Suddenly Chase came out ... but not him at the same time
Hind legs were limp. Uniform was worn out. Ears were gone, leaving only a bit at the base of the skull. There was a huge hole in the chest, but he didn't seem to notice it. Eyes, or their absence, were two black holes. Mouth was unnaturally wide open
Zuma was terrified and even though he had no eyes, he seemed to be staring straight at her.
He howled, which was more like a gurgling, lunged at her with unexpected speed.
Zuma closed her eyes, not wanting to see it anymore, when a voice sounded
- Ok zuma it's safe. Chase's voice came
She opened her eyes and saw that creature was gone, quickly climbed up to where Chase was standing, alive and well.
- Something happened? You look scared.
- I was seeing something.
- Too many horrors.
When Chase turned, zuma glanced down the stairs, she might have sworn that something moved at the edge of her vision.
They entered the security room, it was a small room with a desk and computer and nothing else but an eye and a vent in the corner.
Chase entered and zuma closed the door.
Chase looked at the desk and old computer and was surprised to see that it had power, turned it on and found that the monitoring system was five cameras with motion sensors.
One was in the hall, two in the halls on the sides of the hall, and two on this floor.
- What now? Zuma asked
Chase noticed Zuma peering nervously at the door
- I do not know. He said then looked into the desk drawer
He found an old list of the museum's items there, apparently with something military because he had seen the names of the weapons, etc.
But what interested him the most was the old radio for communication
None of him Rocky, but something he could do, so maybe he can amplify the signal from the collar and summon Ryder and the others
- I'll go look around. Ok?
- Just be careful.
Chase didn't know what she meant but nodded.
He left and headed for the only room other than the security room.
There were several wall frames and empty cabinets in the room, he checked each one until he went to the next room, there in the chest farthest from the door, he found an old radio, the antenna was in good condition.
He turned to leave, but someone was standing in the doorway.

Front left paw was gone and the stump was pouring black blood. Vest was damaged. Ears were torn off halfway, as if bitten off. Left eye was gone and the other was completely white. Mouth was lipless. Head itself was unnaturally twisted.
How did this happen?! He didn't even hear her enter the room!
Creature lunged at him, he swung the antenna and blinked, and that something was gone.
He ran back, entering so violently that zuma screamed, startled
- Jesus Chase, is anyone after you ?!
- I was seeing something.
- And who's been watching too much horror here?
Then for a few minutes they tried to send the signal through the antenna but nothing came of it.
Then Chase looked at the monitoring and noticed that the button from the first camera was flashing that motion was detected
He switched to her and what they saw chilled their blood in their veins.
