Unexpected spirit

Beast Boy was bored and thought it was a good idea to mess with something he didn't understand. and the whole team is going to have to deal with the repercussions of his mistake. now they have a new arrival and they don't know what this could mean for their team but they are going to find out whether this is good or bad. (will come up with a better summary and title later.)

KorevainsoLightshire: well Danny does produce his own ectoplasm but something went wrong in the summoning and he became unstable at the moment. Think of the binding as a way to stave it off till he is back to normal. Though it has another purpose that you will find out in this chapter.

Chanderx93: I know Danny's powers. The thing is that Starfire has shown greater feats of strength and speed. Starfire is strong enough to push back a meteor on her own while Danny might be able to alter it, it is more because of making it intangible. And she was able to clear the earth's Atmosphere in the span of a few seconds. And the issue with Danny's speed is that with your example, there is no distance given between the Fenton portal and Pariah's keep. So 20 minutes doesn't really give a measure of speed though his ecto blasts do seem more powerful than Starfire's star bolts. I might just make them equal just for fun's sake

Chapter 4: The binding

Danny and the Titans were in the tower's living area as the team of heroes explained to Danny what had brought him here.

Danny listened to everything they had told him with a straight face. "So, you're telling me that I was summoned through some ritual that the little green guy…"

"Beast Boy." said boy corrected

Danny nodded "right… decided to do it because he was bored and thought it would get him a chance for a moped?"

Cyborg nodded. "Yeah, that's pretty much it." he looked at the summoned spirit in confusion since this was the guy that had beaten them without breaking a sweat but….

Beast boy's instincts were still telling him to be wary of the one he summoned but he no longer outright feared the guy. Especially since…...

Robin was having a hard time getting a read on the guy. He prided himself on figuring the kind of character a person had based on small tells and common gestures the person did. But despite how this guy had some pretty obvious tells, right now he was….

Starfire was holding herself back as she didn't want to offend this powerful being, but she was finding it very difficult. Mainly because….

Raven was just dumbfounded. 'This is the summoned being I was so afraid of?' she knew that she shouldn't think all summoned beings should be taken lightly, the battle they had earlier was a testament to that, but right now….

giggle*

The younger of the two was using the older one's leg like a monkey bar. Which meant that he had his leg stretched out to the side so she could swing on it.

The silly nature of what the two were doing contradicted the serious look on his face.

Danny knew that what he was doing right now could be seen as sill but Danielle got bored during the explanation and began to use him as a jungle gym. He didn't have the heart to deny her so he just allowed it. 'That's the last time I give her ice cream before a situation happens.' He looked the team over before his gaze landed on Beast boy. "Even if you didn't think it would work, you shouldn't mess with stuff like this. I've seen someone deal with a power that wasn't his and in the end, it caused me so much trouble." he thought back to when the Box had gotten hold of Pandora's box and gave him and his friends so much trouble. 'Speaking of which.' he looked towards Raven as he asked. "You said that it would take some time to figure out where we came from, right?"

Reven nodded. "Yes. due to the way the ritual was used."

Danny long since figured that he might be in another dimension because of keywords these guys spoke, the way he couldn't get in touch with his friends or log in to his email accounts, and the circle that took both him and Dani.

He already traveled through time and being the science fiction nerd he was, why not dimensions too.

'Like my life couldn't get any more complicated.' "I guess that means sending a message back would be just as time-consuming." seeing her nod just made him groan. "Damn it, what the hell are they going to think?" he then remembered his earlier thought. "'Time'... I wonder if Clockwork knew about this?" he thought this to himself before he held up a finger to the others to tell them to give him a moment. He lowered his leg so Dani could walk again and he moved a few steps away from the others with Dani following him. He now stood a dozen feet away from the others and looked upward

The Titans were confused about what he was doing but chose to just watch. All but one

Raven turned pale white at the mention of the name "Clockwork". Normally something like that wouldn't be cause for alarm but the fact that he said it in a way that spoke of a being by that name. She remembered that in one of the most ancient tomes she read back on Azarath, a being of the highest caliber. a controller of the most Primordial power that has, is, and ever will, exist. He had gone by many names throughout all of existence.

The Egyptians thought the being to be three entities, Heh, Hemsut, Shai.

The Romans thought it to be two: Antevorta and Postverta.

The Lakota knew the being as Etu.

The Greeks knew him as Chronos.

The Americans thought to give him a more jovial name, Father time.

But one name that was seen in the ancient tomes of Azrath had been a name that seemed so modern and simple now.

Clockwork

'He is affiliated with the most powerful beings to ever exist!' Now Raven was terrified. someone affiliated with a controller of time could put them all in great danger if Clockwork felt the need to punish them for summoning them. "Y-y-you…." she cleared her throat as she needed to push Timid back down.

Easier said than done since all of her emotions were feeling fear. Even Brave was being apprehensive. The combined force of it was forcing fear into her but she used all her control to keep it down so her powers don't go haywire.

"You know Clockwork?"

Danny looked over his shoulder at her as he nodded. "Yeah. he took me on as an apprentice a couple of months ago and I've been learning a lot from him."

'We summoned the apprentice of Clockwork!? We're in trouble.'

He turned his head back up and crossed his arms and gave a soft glare at nothing. After a few more seconds he called out. "I know you know what I am going to ask so why not just give me an answer!"

The titans were startled by the sudden shout and some of them began to think he was crazy.

After a few more seconds of nothing, Danny then ran his hands on his suit and found something tucked under his belt.

It was a note.

Danny pulled it out and read it before glaring at it.

"I know everything. And I have already informed your friends and family that you will be unavailable for some time."

Danny crumpled up the piece of paper and turned around as he channeled his energy to his hand before throwing the now burning paper over his shoulder. "I could learn to hate you, Clockwork."

He felt another piece of paper in his belt. He grabbed the note and without reading it, lit it aflame and let the ashes blow away in the wind. "I know you know I won't." He made it back to the others as he sighed "if Clockwork knows I'm here and hasn't done anything then he wants me here."

Beast boy raised his and asked. "Um….who is Clockwork?"

"Clockwork is the personification of time itself. He is a being that controls all of time and has power that no one can imagine."

The Titans looked to Raven who was the one that spoke.

Danny looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "You know him?"

Raven shook her head. "I know of him. I've read about him in some ancient tomes."

Danny ran his hand down his face. "Of course there are some books that talk about him. Wonder if Ghostwriter wrote some of them." When he finished this, he felt Dani crawl up his back till she was sitting behind his head. He brought his hands up to hold her ankles.

Robin took a step forward to speak up. "Well, it was a mistake that brought you and your sister here…"

"I'm not his sister."

The Titans looked at the now pouting girl who was puffing out her cheeks

Danny tilted his head up and looked at her with a stern look. "Dani…" he said in a warning tone but she chose to ignore it

Cyborg rubbed his head as he looked at the girl in a confused manner. "Really? But you look just like him."

Dani threw her hands in the air and proclaimed. "Of course I look like Daddy!"

The titans froze at that declaration as they couldn't comprehend the fact that the girl said she was his daughter when he looked like he was too young to have any kids.

Danny groaned at that. "Dani, I thought we agreed that I was your brother."

Dani pursed her lips and crossed her arms while looking away. "Hmph!"

Danny sighed as this wasn't the first time that they had this discussion. When he had rescued her from Vlad, he felt like he should take the role of her big brother so she could have family since they were related.

Dani on the other hand felt that he was more of a father than Vlad ever was and she started calling him "daddy" now instead of Vlad.

Danny had tried to convince her that it would be better if she sees him more as a brother. And despite how the little girl had agreed to this, she would still call him "daddy".

He sighed as he brought his hands up and grabbed her around her waist and lift her off his shoulders. He figured that he should just bring this up. "'Brother' 'father', regardless, I am her guardian and look after her as best I can." he put her down as she stood in front of him still pouting and arms still crossed. "Just know that we are family and we look out for each other."

Robin could tell that there was a story behind that but at the moment, he would keep that to himself. For now.

The Titans then panicked as they saw him fall to a knee.

Dani grew worried as she looked him over

Danny smiled at her as he took a deep breath. "I'm running out of energy again."

"What you did earlier must have used a good amount of energy." Raven turned to the others "I'm going to find an object that can be used for the binding. Make sure he doesn't use any more energy." Seeing her team nod she teleported to her room.

Danny fell back to sit on the ground as he took a deep breath. "Whew, I really hope this binding thing helps."

"Are you alright, strange friend?"

Danny looked up to see the orange skin girl floating above him. He flinched back at the close proximity till he registered her question. "Yeah, I'm fine." He flinched again when she got into his face and began to ask, what he could barely guess, questions.

"Wonderous! Curiosity abounds! Pleasetelluswhereyouarefromhowyougotherewhat'syourfavoritecoloranddoyouwishtobemyfriend?"

Danny and Dani stared at her in confusion as they could barely understand anything that the bubbly girl had just said.

Danny was beginning to feel bad at the sparkling look the girl was giving him and felt that it would be wrong to not answer her. "Um…." he played back what she said and tried his best to answer them. "Uh...my home…. Through some portal… blue?... and ...sure?" Next thing he knew was pain.

"Oh, Joyous Day!"

Danny was so glad that he was in his ghost form since he was sure that if he was human his bones would have been crushed. He now knew the true meaning of "bone-crushing hug". He felt such relief when the hug ended and he dropped to the ground in a heap. "Ow."

Robin smiled at the sight as he walked up to him. "Yeah, her hugs are killer." He stretched out a hand to help Danny up.

Danny smiled at the gesture and accepted the offer. "Thanks...uh?"

Robin realized what was wrong and rubbed his neck. "Oh right. I'm Robin. Leader of the Teen Titans."

Catching onto what this was leading to, the other Titans came in.

Cyborg crossed his arms and smiled at the white hair dude. "Name's Cyborg. What's up"

Beast boy bounced over to stand next to Cyborg and waved. "Call me Beast Man."

Cyborg bonked him on the head and pointed down at the green-skinned boy as he looked at Danny. "It's actually Beast Boy."

Star fire flew into the air with a massive smile as she introduced herself. "My name is Koriander, but on earth, I am called Starfire."

Danny tilted his head. "'On earth?"

Cyborg nodded as he pointed to Starfire. "Yeah, she's an alien."

This caught both Phantoms by surprise before they gained excited looks. They flew up to Starfire and began to ask their own rapid questions.

"Wowyouranalineohmygoshthatissocoolwhereareyoufromwhatplanetwasyourhome"

Starfire was overwhelmed by the rapid questions and soon became dizzy as she tried to keep track of them. "Uuuhhhh…."

Cyborg couldn't help but smile at the sight as Starfire was now being bombarded by rapid questions, much like when a new person is introduced to her.

Robin smiled as well before he shook his head. He walked forward and called out. "Maybe you can hold off the questions till later. You are supposed to hold off from using your powers."

Danny paused mid-flight and lowered himself to the ground before sheepishly rubbing his neck. "Right, sorry. It's the first time we ever met an alien and we got a little excited." despite how he had stopped, Dani had not. Without looking, Danny reached behind him and grabbed the girl by the back of her suit, and brought her to stand in front of her. "Anyway, I'm Danny, Danny Phantom. You can call me Danny."

Danielle raised her hand in a wave as she said. "And I'm Dani with an 'I', Phantom."

Robin nodded as brought his hand up for him to shake. "It's nice to meet you."

Danny took the hand and smiled. "Likewise, though…" he looked up at that massive hole still in the tower. "I wish our arrival didn't cause that much damage to your home."

Cyborg turned a glare at Beast Boy who turned into a mouse and scurried to hide behind the couch.

Danny felt himself getting more tired and sat down on one of the stools as he looked up at the hole. "I can help out when I feel better. By the way, what's that girl's name? The one that went to get that thing she said was going to help?"

Robin looked was the one to answer. "That was Raven. She is the magic specialist of our team."

Danny nodded as he looked at Danielle. "How are you feeling? Are you feeling tired or sick like before?"

Dani lowered to the ground and ran her hands on her body as if looking for something. "No, I feel fine."

"That is most likely because I spent more time on you than I did on him."

Everyone looked to where the voice came from to see Raven entering the room through the door this time.

"Friend Raven! Have you acquired the needed item to help our new friend?"

Raven nodded as she floated over to the rest of the team with Starfire flying behind her. "Yes." she brought out an amulet that was much like the one that she used to keep her cloak on. But this one's metal was a bland gray and the jewel was black as if it was lacking color rather than purposely black. "This should handle the ceremony and once that is done, you should be back to normal."

Danny eyed the thing for a second before he got up from his seat. "Let's get this over with. Once I know it is safe, then Dani can get the same treatment and she won't have to worry about feeling sick like before."

Raven nodded as she moved to a more open spot in the room. "We can do it here."

Danny nodded as he saw the other Titans move over to Raven. Once they were gathered, he turned to Dani and knelt to her. He looked over his shoulder and gave them a wave to tell them he would be there in a minute. "Ok, Dani, if anything wrong happens, I want you to fly away from here as fast as you can." was his whispered warning.

"But…?"

"I still don't know anything about these guys and for all I know, this could be some sort of trap. So just trust me on this and leave if anything goes wrong. Do you understand?"

Dani didn't like the idea that she might have to abandon Danny if something goes wrong. But she knew that Danny could handle anything and nothing ever goes wrong as long as he was around. She nodded just to show that she understood. But whether she would leave him if something bad happened to him was up for debate.

Danny smiled and stood up before he began to walk towards the other teens. "Ok, so what should I do?"

Raven floated to stand a few feet away from Danny and spoke. "You just need to hold still and we are gonna need some space." she directed the last part to her team and she was grateful that they moved back. She then looked to Danny and asked. "Are you ready?"

Danny shrugged. "As ready as I'll ever be for something I have never experienced before."

Raven nodded. "Sorry about this." she closed her eyes as she began to float in the air as her cape began to bellow in the wind that picked up from her magic aura. "Also, Please be ready as I am unsure if this will hurt or not."

"Why am I not surprised." he then stood tall and clenched his fist as he braced himself for whatever pain might come his way.

Raven focused as her raven spirit emerged from her body and the amulet began to float in front of her. "I am sorry once more. Azarath Metrion Zinthos." Her eyes opened up to show bright light shining as the raven made of black magic flew forwards through the amulet and enveloped Danny

Danny was glad he braced himself because the second the glowing black energy bird hit him, he felt his whole body begin to feel strained. It was like he was tensing all of his muscles at the same time to the point of tearing. But soon it began to get worse and he grit his teeth as it started to feel like he was being blasted from all directions. It wasn't even close to the worst pain he felt so he could handle this but he could tell that it was becoming stronger.

Something Danny didn't realize was that he was subconsciously resisting what was happening to him and this was causing him to feel more pain than he should have to deal with. His mind knew that he needed to allow this to happen but his instincts told him to resist.

The others were watching as a white outline of Danny could be seen inside the Raven that now took up the spot he was standing in.

Starfire looked to her right to see that Dani was bouncing on her feet in worry and she knelt down to place a comforting hand on the little one's shoulder. "It is alright. Our friend is only trying to help him."

Dani smiled up at the teen and nodded before looking back at Danny.

For the next few minutes, Raven tried to focus more as this was more difficult than she originally thought. 'Why isn't it working? It should have already finished at this point.' She got her answer as she heard Danny begin to groan. She looked towards Danny while keeping focus and could tell what was wrong as she saw him straining with sparks of green energy leaking from his body and the raven began to fluctuate.

Danny began to groan from the pain as it just kept getting worse.

"You have to stop resisting! It's causing you to suffer an overload while draining you of your strength!"

Danny had heard her but at this point, he couldn't hold it in anymore. He threw his head up as he finally screamed. "Ggrrrrrrrr AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!"

The raven could no longer maintain its form and it imploded on Danny before bursting out a wave of energy that threw everyone back and onto the ground

Everyone groaned from the burst of energy but one of them was the first to get to her feet

Dani grew worried and ran to where Danny was once standing. She saw the same white hair she knew but stopped a few feet away from him as there was an obvious change.

The other teens got up and moved closer to Danny and were all surprised about what they saw

Physically he looked mostly the same but his hazmat suit had changed completely

His suit had become sleeveless with his shoulders being visible. The white of his collar now moved down his torso forming bird-like wings that looked like it was flying upwards. His whit belt gained an angle in the center going downward and gained a toxic green edging. White bled down the side of his hips that had the same kind of design as the white wings on his torso. The white wings on his torso flowed over his shoulders and on his shoulder blades, they created more wing-like markings that took up all his shoulder blades and stopped halfway down his back. In between the wing arches on his torso remained his logo but instead of the usual three whisps it had, they gained more bird-like curves. His boots had gained an overlap with a portion over his ankle gaining a silver color with a green outline and the bottom of them gained the same silver color. On his now bare arms, on each of his biceps was a black band with green edging. On each of his forearms was a thin bracer that had the same coloring as the band and a bit of it was covering the top of his hands. To finish up the wardrobe change he was now wearing a dark teal hooded cape much like Raven's. But unlike hers, instead of a solid cape, his had a slit that went up the center of the cape to just below his shoulder blades. And holding the cape closed, much like Raven's was the amulet that was used for the binding.

But the amulet had changed. It now had a glow much like Danny had but the gray color of the metal had changed more into silver and the once black empty jewel had changed into forest green with a slight green glow.

Danny was panting as he was on his hands and knees.

Dani moved closer and asked "Danny…...are you ok?" she almost flinched when she saw his head move up to look at her. It was when he did this that she noticed that he had changed physically but only a small bit.

Danny's ears had become slightly pointed but only to a very small degree that unless you were looking closely you wouldn't notice. Since he was panting, it was visible that he had gained fangs much like Plasmius. And oddly enough, he now had a gem in the middle of his forehead just like Raven but instead of red, it was the same green as the amulet.

Danny took a deep intake of breath through his nose before he smiled and answered "I would feel better with a chocolate shake."

Dani smiled as she jumped at him and wrapped her arms around his neck

Danny chuckled at this as he held her in his arms. "Easy. I'm a little sore right now." Despite how he said this, he could feel his energy was no longer dropping and more stable. Though he did feel a little weaker after this but he guessed that he would have to figure this out later. He did feel…..different though. It was when he looked down at Dani that he noticed his wardrobe change. "What the!?" he got to his feet and put Dani down. He ran his hands on his body as he couldn't believe his new clothes. He spun around in place as he kept looking himself over. He even grabbed the cape and looked at it as if it was an artifact he couldn't understand. "What happened to my Hazmat suit!"

Beast Boy brought his hand up and made a square with his fingers as he closed one eye and looked through the square. "It's a cartoon transformation! You've become a hero to save the world by summoning a giant robot to fight the big zombie robot that is going to suck out all our brains!"

Cyborg shook his head and looked at Danny. "Your guess is as good as ours. But I gotta say that it almost looks like a different version of Raven's look. Especially the cape and jewel on your forehead."

Danny's eyes went wide as he brought his hand to his forehead and felt the jewel. "What the heck!"

Dani on the other hand began to spin around him in excitement, now that she knew that he was alright. "You look so cool! Can I get a cape?! Danny, I want a cape!"

Danny sighed as he grabbed the back of her suit before he grabbed her under her arms and brought her up to be face to face. "Behave, Dani." he gave her a stern look but she responded by giving him a puppy-eyed look with her lip quivering. He found his will breaking before he sighed in defeat and said. "We'll get you a cape later, ok?"

"Yay!"

The other teens chuckled at the scene with Raven looking on with a confused expression. She had no idea what had happened but after that explosion. She felt….off. Or rather…..more…. free? She didn't know what it was but she would need to check on her mental state later on.

Danny looked towards Raven. "Was this supposed to happen?"

Raven shook her head as she answered. "No. I have never heard of this happening before. Though I have never done this before so I can't say for sure."

Danny gave her a deadpanned glare. "You never did this before?"

Raven felt indignant at what he was insinuating. "I am well versed in magic. I know how to do it but I have never done it practically."

Danny didn't let up his glare as he crossed his arms. He looked down at himself again and felt better than before. 'I can still think for myself and so far nothing seems to be wrong.' he looked at the amulet as he had another thought. 'I'm going to have to find a mirror to see what I look like now.' he looked at Raven and asked. "So the reason it hurt so much was because I was resisting right?"

Raven nodded

Danny looked at Dani and began to doubt he should let her go through what he went through. Sure it wasn't the most painful thing he dealt with but she was still young and she hadn't been in many major battles. "Dani…..do you want to go through it?"

Dani looked up at him before thinking about what he went through and if she would be able to. She wasn't as strong as he was and he had more experience. She looked down in fear as she reached up and grabbed onto his pant leg, just over his boot. "Will you stay here with me?"

Danny smiled as he bent down and picked her up. "Always."

Dani smiled as she nodded with much more confidence.

Danny smiled at her before looking at Raven as he had an idea. "You said that you can bind us to a person instead of an object, right?" seeing her nod, he brought up his idea. "Then bind her to me."

The three were now standing in a triangle as Raven had agreed to bind her to him. She was surprised about this but she didn't see anything wrong with this. Nothing in her studies said that this couldn't happen and there were no restrictions. She also thought that it was most appropriate since as she was looking for something that would be used for the binding, the amulet was the only thing that would work. So this helps out on many levels.

Raven looked at the two and asked "are you two ready?"

Dani was a little nervous but looking at Danny made her feel so much better. She nodded as she stood at the ready.

Danny relaxed himself and did his best to just allow whatever was about to happen, to happen,

Seeing them both ready, she closed her arms and stretched out her arms at the two. "Relax and let this happen."

Danny couldn't help but think 'that is better motivation than previous.'

Ravne focused her magic and her spirit raven came out once more. "Azarath metrion Zinthos."

The raven flew away from her and then encircled the two phantoms. After a few seconds a tendril of black magic connected between the two in the middle of their chests

Danny raised an eyebrow at it but figured that it was supposed to happen

Dani looked at the tendril and brought up her hand to touch it. But before her hand could make contact the tendril faded away and she felt her energy become more stable.

Raven lowered her arms as she sighed in relief. "That was much easier than last time."

Danny raised an eyebrow at her. "Wait, that was it?"

Raven nodded. "Connecting between people is a little easier, especially when it is between people that have close relations. The reason it took longer for you was that the amulet had to adapt to you and you were resisting."

Danny crossed his arms and sighed. "Sorry about that."

"Aw, how come I don't get a cape?"

Everyone watched the little girl spinning around and looking over her shoulder in an attempt to find something.

Dani pouted as she threw her arms in the air. "How come Danny got a cape and I didn't?!"

They all laughed as Danny picked her up. "I said we will get you a cape later." seeing her pout and cross her arms but nod made him smile. He looked to the others and gave his thanks. "Thank you for doing this for us. I know we all got off on the wrong foot at the start but I am grateful for helping us when we needed it." It was then that he heard a yawn and looked to Dani to see her rubbing her eye. He looked up at the hole and figured that it was now way past midnight. "I guess it is time for you to get to bed."

Dani looked at Danny with a tilt of her head. "But where? Are we going to a hotel?"

Danny hadn't thought about that. Everything was happening so fast and he had no place to go.

"You can stay here."

Everyone turned to look at Robin as he was the one that offered.

Robin gestured to the two Phantoms and spoke. "It was one of my teammates that brought you here and she looks like she needs a proper bed to sleep in. you can use one of the guest rooms we have. I'm sure it would be better than sleeping in a motel or hotel." He remembered some times he had to sleep in one of those rooms and he was not going to let a little girl sleep in one of them if he could help it.

Danny was about to deny it since he was sure they could handle themselves in one but he felt Dani tug on his shirt and he looked at her as she gave him a sleepy nod. He saw that she was so close to falling asleep that he knew that she was not going to be able to stay in this form any longer. 'One thing after another isn't it. But can I trust them?' As he thought about this, he noticed something on Dani. He groaned as he used a free hand to pull something tucked in her glove. He opened it before glaring at the words.

"You can trust them."

"I hate you, clockwork." He took a deep breath and looked at the other teens. I'll take up our offer but I need something from you first. All of you."

This caught them all by surprise and waited for what he was going to ask.

"I need you to keep this a secret from everyone." seeing them give a hesitant nod as he figured that they had no idea what he would ask, he took another deep breath. He looked at Dani and said, "change back."

Dani was too tired to argue or question him so she just went with it. A white ring appeared around her and split in two, changing her back into her human form. Once this was done, her energy left her and she fell asleep, snuggling into Danny's chest

The Titans were shocked to see the transformation but they got another surprise when they saw a ring appear on Danny.

Danny felt his transformation finish and looked down to see the familiar jeans and white shirt with a red oval. He looked up at the others and gave a sheepish smile. "Hi, my name is Danny Fenton."

Speaking of which, I hope I offended no one in the usage of other deities that have a sense of control of time in a way. If I did, I'm sorry

There is another hidden reason that Dani's ritual was short but it will become clear later on.

Speaking of, I cheated. I figured that a girl as young as Dani would see Danny as her father a lot more than Vlad while Danny tries to be the big brother instead. This is my way of having both and hopefully being able to satisfy or mull people over. Overall he is her guardian. See that as what you wish :)

Next chapter will be a mundane chapter that will go about the tower's repair and such so it will most likely be short
