Jinn Yama, a quirkless boy, was an ordinary teen... He never stood out, never got in too much trouble. At least... that was until that one faithful day.
"HAHAHA! Puny Yama, you think you can take me on?!" said Rou, the captain of the Martial Arts Club, as he began to use his six arms to relentlessly beat into Jinn. Jinn kept his arms up, trying to keep himself safe from the barrage of blows, to no avail of course, before being flung across the room. He created a crater in the wall before landing in a heap on the floor. "Next time, stay out of things you can't win!" roared Rou as he lifted Jinn up by his jackets hoodie. Jinn coughed before looking Rou straight in the eye, and began chuckling. "I... will never... stop protecting people from bullies like you, Rou..." he said, only to be slammed into the ground and pummeled. Jinn coughed and spit until he was unconscious. "Heh... Quirkless freak... Know your place, you freak." sneered Rou as he spit on Jinn, before sauntering away. Jinn laid there for a few moments before getting up, brushing himself off slowly. He then began limping home, taking the long way, and just thinking all the way. He saw the the small bridge that always smelled like gross sewage. Usually, it's empty and he can sit there for a few minutes to recover, but what he saw was far from what he was used to. Some kind of slime was trying to, he guessed, molest a boy about his age. Something in his brain clicked, and before he realized it, he had already crossed half the distance, pulling his largest book from his backpack and quickly tossing it at the slime monster. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" yelled Jinn as he rushed at the monster, grabbing a pencil and quickly lodging it into the monsters body, only to be sucked in as well. But Jinn didn't stop struggling, getting one arm unstuck and punching the monster in the eye. It roared in pain as it recoiled a bit. "YOULITTLEBASTARD! I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU STOP MY PLAN TO ESCAPE!" yelled the goo monster, raising it's arm to crush him. Then, suddenly, it was as if time began slowing around him. He looked around confused and was able to get his other arm unstuck as a portal opened up above him, and inside he saw six beings floating inside what could only be called a Grid of energy. "JINN YAMA, YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN TO BE THIS WORLD AND ERA'S NEWEST PROTECTOR. FOR YOUR BRAVERY AND WILLINGNESS TO SACRIFICE YOURSELF FOR A COMPLETE STRANGER, WE BESTOW UPON YOU THE OMNI RANGER MORPHER!" they all said in unison as a small box machine teleported itself onto his wrist, and then the green being came forward, lifting its staff and waving it slightly. A set of keys appeared in front of him and he was amazed as he saw the history of each one appear before him. "THESE KEYS BELONG TO EVERY SIXTH RANGER THAT CAME BEFORE YOU. CHOOSE ONE TO START YOUR JOURNEY, SIXTH RANGER JINN." said the green being, gesturing to the keys Jinn reached his hand out and picked a white key, one that connected to an 'SPD' sixth ranger. As he looked up, he thought he saw a smile on the green beings face. "So... how do I get it to work?" Jinn asked. Each one raised their staffs and Jinn watched as a beam of light shot out of each staff and he felt a surge of POWER enter him, but from the Morphin' Masters prospective, they saw only one beam hit him, while the beam of green energy hit the boy next to him. The other beams shot out through Japan, finding their soul matches. Back to Jinn, he learned everything he needed from that beam of energy. "NOW, JINN, MORPH AND FINALIZE YOUR CONNECTION TO THE MORPHIN' GRID!" they all said, watching Jinn closely. Jinn looked up, confidence in his eyes. He quickly stuck the small key into the slot on his 'morpher'. He then made a few hand gestures, before throwing his hand in the air, the morpher becoming the SPD Omega Rangers. "SPD! EMERGENCY!" Jinn yelled at the top his lungs. He was then shown standing in a moving tunnel as a strange light shone in front of him, with the SPD Omega Rangers suit. He then backflipped and landed on one knee, the suit manifesting on him, and he lifted his head, the helmet attaching to the suit. As the sequence ended, he stood a few feet from the monster, and the lights on his helmet flashed twice. "SPD Omega Ranger, Ready for action!" Jinn announced from the inside the helmet, striking a pose as a small explosion erupted behind him. The Morphin' Masters then let time start flowing normally, disappearing before anyone noticed. The boy that was trapped looked in amazement at the person standing at the end of the tunnel, the goo monster looking confused but unimpressed. Jinn summoned the morpher connected to this suit. He revved the handle on it, before saying, "Light Beam Mode!" before blasting a few highly concentrated beams at the monsters eyes, making it drop the boy. At the moment the boy hit the ground, the manhole cover flew off as a hulk of a man flew out. "I finally found you!" yelled a voice. "Everything is safe now... Why? BECAUSE I AM HERE!" shouted All Might, the number one hero in Japan. "TEXAS! SMAAAASH!" All Might yelled, sending a wave of extreme air pressure towards the slime monster, breaking it apart. "DAMN YOU! AAAALLLL MIIIIGGGHT!" yelled the slime monster, as he flew everywhere. All Might went to the side of the boy and made sure he was okay. Jinn then stood in front of the slime, taking hold of the handle on his morpher, and revved it a few times. "Now... It's time for your Judgment!" yelled Jinn as his morpher began flashing blue and red with an O and X symbol, before finally landing on the red X symbol. "Now, Capture mode!" yelled Jinn, as a large card appeared at the end of the tunnel sucked in every last piece of sludge and shrunk, landing on the ground. He then approached the Pro Hero and handed him the card. "Make sure the authorities get this, alright?" asked Jinn, walking away. All Might stowed the card in one of his shorts pockets, and lifted the boy, carrying him away. When Jinn knew he was fully away, he demorphed and looked at the morpher that now was settled snuggly on his wrist, smiling widely and jumping up. "YEAH! NOW I CAN BE A HERO!" he yelled before heading home.
The sludge villain couldn't believe what had happened. Everything was going so well, he had almost fully taken over that green haired kid, but that other kid with the blonde hair stopped him. And to make matters worse, that kid used some kind of strange tech to keep him busy and capture him. Now he was stuck in this weird card thing, in some disgusting alleyway! But now he heard footsteps approaching, and as he looked around he saw a kid with explosion's coming out of his hands.
"That damn nerd... He needs to know that he can't be a hero without a quirk!" fumed Katsuki Bakugo, as his eyes landed on the Capture Card. "The hell...?" said Bakugo as he crumpled the card up, hitting it with an explosion afterward. As he threw the card away, it shone with a strange gleam, before exploding and releasing the sludge villain. "Heh...I like my skinsuits with a little fire!" yelled the sludge villain.
Jinn fiddled with his morpher as he walked home. He pushed a button on it, and watched as the side spun open, revealing the SPD Key. He pushed a second button, and saw that it was the Key Swap button. He watched as a new Key appeared, this time with a tiny V symbol on the helmet. As he inspected inspected his new Key, he saw a large explosion in the distance. Be it by chance, fate, or destiny, Jinn felt something rise inside him, a sense of duty, and he ran as fast as he could towards the scene. As he arrived, he saw the slime villain from before, only this time he had an ash blonde boy with an explosion quirk. Jinn fumed with both confusion and anger. All Might was supposed to give the capture card to the police! But those feelings died down when he saw a familiar head of messy green hair rush through the crowd, throwing his backpack at the slime villain, and trying to pull the other boy out. Jinn looked down at his morpher for a few seconds before taking the new Key out its slot and rushing into an alleyway, making sure that no one was watching. He then shoved the Key into his morpher, closing the small door on it, before watching it change to a new one. It took the form of a small wrist mounted morpher with a V in the middle, legs on the sides. He did two hand gesture, before bringing the new morpher close to his chest. "TITANIUM POWER!" he yelled quietly. He then stood in another moving tunnel, this time though, a large V symbol was above him, and Jinn looked up, put his arms up and the V came down. It covered him with the Titanium Rangers suit and Helmet, the visor snapping up. Jinn did a pose as an explosion erupted behind him. He ran out of the alleyway, getting confused looks from everyone. The sludge villain, however, looked at Jinn's new form with hate. "YOOOUU! I'LL KILL YOU WITH MY NEW SKINSUIT!" he yelled, swinging Bakugo's arms around wildly. Jinn was unfazed, instead throwing his hand up to the sky. "TITANIUM LASER!" he yelled out, watching as the air shimmered and sparked until a weird looking gun type weapon landed in his hand. He pointed the weapon at the villain, hearing the gasp's of the on-lookers. With the precision of the most expert marksman, he fired off four shots and hit each eye of the villain and hitting the villains slimy body. "AAAAAAAAHHHH! YOU LITTLE BASTARD!" he roared out. Jinn then snapped the the blaster up and watched as it became a small axe type weapon. He then rushed forward, slicing through the slime villain and releasing Bakugo. When Bakugo had fallen to the ground, a rush of air bewildered Jinn and the crowd. "I really am... Pathetic, huh?" "I really should practice what I preach..." said All Might. Jinn knew knew he wasn't talking to him, but not to who he was. Jinn took the time that All Might was giving him and grabbed his original Key, and stuck it in his morpher. "SPD Emergency!" said Jinn as he quickly changed suits. As All Might unleashed a Detroit Smash, Jinn activated the Omega Morpher's Judgement mode. As it landed on red, the villain was once again trapped in a capture card. Jinn handed it to a police officer, barely escaping the horde of paparazzi.
Later, Jinn's Room.
Jinn could barely sit still as he wrote his application letter to U.A. High-School, the most prestigious school in all of Japan. As he had almost finished writing it, he had come to the part where they ask you what quirk or support Item you have. Jinn smiled and put Quirkless, then Morpher under Support Item. He sealed it in an envelope, and let his parents mail it. He went to bed that night, ready to start training himself to use his morpher better and to get into U.A. without a quirk. He smiled at that, the idea of walking, studying, and learning with the best soon to be heroes in all of Japan, cause he wouldn't settle for a lesser class, he would make sure he would get into U.A's Top Hero course. Class 1-A. The best of the best. He went to sleep with a wide smile.
