===== Chapter 15 =====
The Big Fight
Eight years ago… in the year 2043…
It was towards the end of spring semester of their sophomore year at MC State. Blair and Roxanne were wrapping up their classes and preparing for their finals, exhausted and drained both mentally and emotionally from their studies. In addition to their normal academics, their AFROTC training was also taking its toll on them as well. It was the FTP semester or Field Training Prep, which was the last semester before AFROTC cadets were shipped off to Field Training in the summer. Field Training was a sort of boot camp for cadets about to become upperclassmen within the detachment. There, they learned and refined their leadership abilities and other basic military skills. As a result, the semester before it was full of extra rigorous preparation and conditioning meant to pressure cadets and better prepare them for the challenges ahead.
Blair and Roxanne had already gone through most of the semester, experiencing a lot of the stress it was designed to expose the cadets to. Unfortunately, the stress was beginning to get to the two, though, one of them was handling it a lot better than the other. Just after midterms that semester, Blair and Roxanne had started to bicker and get on each other's nerves as the days dragged on. One day, it all came to a climax as they both reached a boiling point.
The two of them had just arrived back at their dorm room after just having gotten coffee. They were fighting over something related to their AFROTC activities, and Roxanne had had enough of Blair's griping.
"Okay, enough! I don't want to hear another word about what you want to do or think things should be handled. What's done is done. End of story," said Roxanne as she entered the room.
"What's done is done? What are you talking about!? You've got command this week and can easily overrule Cadet Stark's plan!" said Blair after following Roxanne inside and closing the door. "He's going to get us all chewed out and you know it!"
"Cadet Stark's plan is fine, so just drop it, okay?" said Roxanne after a tired exhale, heading over to her desk to continue her homework. She was starting to get a headache from all the stress AFROTC and her school work were causing her. "He'll get it done and then someone else can worry about things when they take over as flight commander."
Blair just looked to Roxanne then scoffed at her. "Is this your idea of 'excellence in all we do'!? Just going with any old thing that gets suggested?" she asked, placing her coffee on her desk before walking over to Roxanne's. "Let me do it! My plan will be way better than Stark's!"
Roxanne placed her coffee on the hutch overlooking her desk then turned back to Blair. "I said no! Now shut up about it already!" she said as her headache began to worsen.
"What the hell!? What's with this lack of confidence all of sudden? You know I can get it done!" said Blair as she got in Roxanne's face about the issue.
Roxanne just grimaced as Blair continued to confront her, standing her ground as she tried to put an end to their argument. "No, you cannot!" she said finally after losing her cool. "Your plan sucks. We all know it! I know it! So just shut up, let it happen, and get over it!"
Hearing Roxanne deny her like that, Blair sneered and got closer to her. "The hell made you all high and mighty!? Just because you're in command, you think you can walk all over anyone? Even your friends!?" she said, pushing her in the arm.
Roxanne recoiled at the touch and raised a finger. "Don't you dare touch me," she said, glaring directly at Blair.
"Or what? You gonna freakin' hit me?" said Blair as she shoved Roxanne harder than last time.
Roxanne was caught off balance as she was pushed back into her desk, causing her to bump into the overhead hutch. The cup she had placed there earlier fell off, spilling coffee all over her computer. As soon as she regained her composure, she turned and looked on in absolute horror as her desktop computer became drenched in coffee. "My computer!" she cried out as she rushed to try and save it.
Behind her, Blair was equally as shocked as she quickly calmed down, ceasing her confrontation. "Oh, shit! Sorry about that," she said as she stepped towards Roxanne.
Roxanne rapidly raised a hand, gesturing for Blair to stay away from her as she hastily grabbed some napkins to clean up the coffee. She then continued to inspect her computer and discovered that it wouldn't turn on. She tried everything she could, unplugging and plugging the power supply and holding the device's power button, but nothing worked. She then quickly broke down in tears and began bawling as she sat on her chair beside her desk.
Blair was deeply troubled by seeing Roxanne like that, and it hurt even more to know that it was her that caused it. "Roxanne, I-," she said before being screamed at by Roxanne.
"Look at what you did! It's ruined! It's gone! It's ALL gone!" said Roxanne as she looked to the nonfunctioning computer.
Blair gulped then tried to cheer Roxanne up; however, little did she know, it ended up making things worse. "It's just a computer, right? And you're real diligent about backing up all your files, so they should- be good… right?" she asked.
"Just. A. Computer!? You know I've had this computer since forever! It's custom and it cost me a fortune to keep it up to date with the latest tech!" said Roxanne as she stood up, looking to Blair. She began to cry again, her words muffled by the sobs. "And for your freakin' information, it's not all good! My pictures for my photography final were still on it, and I hadn't backed them up yet! They're gone! All gone!"
After entering college, Roxanne began to dabble in one of the few hobbies she had- photography. She delighted in the act of catching things on film, both physical and digital, and decided to take a class to better hone her skills. It took a lot of negotiating with her parents to allow her take the class since in their eyes, it was a waste of a class spot to use on something like a hobby. Before the rush of the upcoming finals week, she had taken several photos and compiled an impressive collection for her final photography project. She was in the process of finalizing it when the incident involving the coffee happened.
Seeing that Blair made things worse, she attempted to console Roxanne, but Roxanne was having none of it. "Just stay away before you ruin something else, you- you brute!" said Roxanne, turning away from Blair as she sat back down. She looked back to her computer and looked through the glass side, seeing coffee dripping from all the parts. She grimaced, figuring that the hot, sticky liquid had soaked the internals. "Just- Just get out! I can't look at you right now!"
Blair recoiled at the sudden request. "But- But I-," she said before being rudely cut off.
"I don't care what you have to say! Just get out of my sight!" said Roxanne as she violently pointed towards the door.
Blair couldn't believe how Roxanne was acting and huffed, scoffing at her as her own frustrations began to get the better of her. "Well, fine! I tried to apologize but what-the-hell-ever!" she said before storming off towards the door. She opened the door and stepped out onto the walkway, turning back to face Roxanne. "You know, this is your fault to begin with! If you'd just let me take over instead of Stark, none of this would've happened!" she said before slamming the door shut.
Inside the room, Roxanne just cried, hardly able to handle the fact that Blair was blaming her for everything, especially after what had just happened. She was completely flabbergasted and just couldn't believe it. She set her computer aside and rested her head on the coffee-stained desktop, sobbing to herself.
Meanwhile, Blair walked off and killed some time around campus, getting a snack at the dining hall. After an hour or so, she decided to head back to the dorm room to see if Roxanne had come to her senses. She was still irritated herself, but since being away from the cause of it, she had cooled off but only slightly. When she got back home, she found the door was unlocked. Blair found it odd and slowly made her way inside.
"Yo, Rox? You in here?" asked Blair as she opened the door. She didn't immediately see Roxanne anywhere, so she stepped inside and closed the door behind her. As she made her way over to her desk, she noticed a bag sitting in her chair with a note placed on her desk. Curious, she went over and inspected the bag. It was her travel bag, and it was filled with her clothes and other personal items. She then picked up the note to see what it said.
The note was from Roxanne, detailing how she was furious and didn't want Blair staying the night. She knew she couldn't force Blair to leave, but if she valued what little of their friendship they had left, then she'd grant her the reprieve. Blair was dumbfounded at first and had to reread the letter again before fully understanding it. The note's language and intent struck a nerve with Blair, so she just crumpled the piece of paper up into a ball and tossed it at Roxanne's side of the room. She then noticed that the bathroom was occupied and went over to the door.
"Hey, Rox! Just who the hell do you think you are, leaving notes telling me what to do and going through my stuff? Why don't you come out here yourself and tell me this shit in person!?" said Blair as she stood in front of the bathroom door. There was nothing but silence inside from what she could tell, and the door was locked.
After getting no reply, Blair moved closer to the door and banged on it once with her fist. "You gonna say something or just hide in there all night!?" she asked. As she stood there, she could then hear the faint sounds of sobbing from within the bathroom.
Blair figured she wasn't going to get anywhere with Roxanne at the moment and decided to grant her the night alone. She grumbled at the situation she was in and backed away from the door, heading back over to her desk and retrieving the bag Roxanne had packed for her. She double-checked the bag's contents, and she also picked up her motorcycle helmet along with a few other things in her backpack. At least Roxanne was thorough enough in her packing. She made sure Blair had everything she needed for an overnight stay elsewhere. Blair didn't say a word and left the dorm room, heading towards the dorm's lounge to figure out where she was going to stay.
Blair texted some friends, but she was having a hard time coming up with last minute arrangements. After several failed attempts, she finally found a winner with Gale who was living in an apartment with friends. They had plenty of room for her to stay the night and invited her over. She thanked Gale over text message then got up and left the lounge, heading towards the parking lot to get her motorcycle.
After angrily walking over, Blair slung her bag over her shoulder and positioned it on her back. She then put her helmet on and mounted her bike. She made sure her bags were secure before putting the key in the ignition and starting it up. She flipped up the kick-stand with her heel and revved the engine, looking back towards her dorm room. She shook her head with a sneer before driving out of the parking lot, making her way over to Gale's apartment complex.
Before Blair knew it, she was already pulling up to her destination. She had so much on her mind that her body was basically running on autopilot, driving along and bringing her to where she needed to go. When she arrived, Blair parked her bike and headed on up to the front of the building. She messaged Gale that she was there and needed to be let in. While she waited, she checked her messages to see if Roxanne had sent her anything, but there was nothing new. She frowned and hoped everything was going to blow over soon. She hadn't known Roxanne to let her emotions dictate her actions, so seeing her like that was a surprise. After waiting in front of the entrance, Gale finally arrived to let her inside.
"What's all this about getting kicked out and needing a place to stay?" asked Gale after opening the door to let Blair inside.
"I kinda don't want to talk about it now. Maybe later," said Blair as she followed Gale to the elevator.
Gale just shrugged it off and headed up back to her apartment with Blair, remaining in silence during the elevator ride. When they arrived at the apartment, Gale introduced Blair to her roommates then showed her where she could sleep. There was a spare bedroom available that was meant for a fourth roommate, but at the last minute, they decided to bail on Gale and her friends. It was currently being used as extra storage space, but Gale had cleaned it up for Blair. There as an inflatable mattress in the center with sheets and blankets already prepared for her.
"And here you go. If you need anything, just ask any one of us," said Gale.
"Thanks, Gale," said Blair as she stepped into the room. She sighed and set her backpack and duffel bag down on the ground by the mattress. It was already nighttime and there wasn't much for Blair to do since she was away from campus. Having had a rough evening already, she just unpacked and got comfy in her temporary sleeping arrangement. An hour or so later, she heard a knock on the door.
"Hey, Blair, can I come in? You got a moment?" asked Gale from the other side of the door.
Blair wasn't doing anything in particular and looked to the door. "Yeah, what's up?" she asked.
Gale opened the door and stepped into the room, closing the door behind her. She then went over to Blair on the mattress and plopped down beside her. "All right, spill it. What's the deal between you and Roxanne?" she asked.
With a heavy sigh, Blair set aside her computer and turned to Gale. She then explained everything that happened in the dorm room, starting with the stresses of their semester and ending with her leaving the dorm. Gale was fully attentive throughout, taking in everything Blair was telling her. By the end, Gale had heard enough and figured she had a firm grip on things.
"Sounds like you really messed up there, huh Hex?" said Gale with a playful smirk.
Hearing Gale's snarky remark, Blair just glared at her, but then she quickly stopped and let out a heavy sigh. "Yeah… I guess so," she said in defeat.
"So, what are you going to do?" asked Gale.
Not wanting to think about it, Blair just groaned and fell back onto the mattress. "I don't know. Roxanne hasn't texted me, and I don't want to call and bother her. I'll deal with it tomorrow," she said.
Gale wasn't reassured by Blair's lackadaisical attitude and stood up, giving Blair her space. "All right then. If you need anything, just holler," said Gale before leaving her alone in the room.
Blair had a long day and just wanted to rest. She'd hadn't been that stressed out and frustrated in a long time. She changed into more comfortable clothes and just surfed the web before calling it a night.
#
For the next couple days, Blair decided to stay at Gale's apartment after Roxanne continued to give her the silent treatment. Not wanting to deal with the additional stress her friend was causing her, Blair just focused on her studies and gave Roxanne some space. As time went on though, what happened between her and Roxanne began to weigh on her. It was constantly floating around in her head and taking over her thoughts. It got to the point that it completely distracted her, and she couldn't focus on her school work.
Once Blair had some free time between her classes, she decided to make things right. She was missing her bestfriend and lover, and after thinking things through, she agreed that she was being a bit of a bitch. To make things up, she wanted to buy Roxanne a new computer to replace the one she indirectly ruined. Unfortunately, she didn't have the funds on hand to do so which put her out of luck. She was sitting in one of the dining halls on campus having lunch while contemplating the whole thing.
After Blair was done eating, she decided to head back to the apartment for a bit before her last class of the day. She kept thinking of ways to scrounge up some extra money as she walked, but she was having trouble. With her bike in sight, she reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out her keys. As she held them in her hand, she stopped, gazing at the tiny pieces of metal before looking to her bike.
It was an old sport bike, one that Blair had gotten in high school back when she was still living in Japan. Her father had bought it second-hand from one of his Navy buddies for her birthday. Over the years, Blair had upgraded it and added her own personalized touches to make it more her own. It had seen its fair share of use as she rode it quite frequently, taking it wherever she wanted back in Japan and when she eventually moved to the United States. Unfortunately, it was really showing its age, despite the upgrades, and it was becoming more of a hassle to keep around.
Seeing an opportunity, Blair figured she could just sell her bike to get the extra funds she needed. Even if it was old, the upgrades she put into it bolstered its resale price a bit. Besides, she could just get a newer bike after she joined the Air Force. By selling it now, it was just one less thing she had to deal with when she graduated and eventually had to move. She exhaled deeply and got onto her bike, turning the ignition and driving back to the apartment.
When Blair got back, she cleaned up her bike the best she could, wiping it down with a cleaning cloth to get rid of all the dust, dirt, and grime. Once it was all cleaned up and looking presentable, Blair took her phone out to take some pictures for the listing. She took some basic photos of the bike from all sides, making sure to get everything in frame. Unfortunately, the first few shots she took didn't look as great as she wanted. They were rather bland and boring. In order to sell the bike as fast as she could, she needed to do better. Then she remembered a few things, suddenly recalling some pointers that Roxanne had told her about photography.
Having nothing to lose, Blair decided to give them a shot. She took her phone and snapped some photos using more dynamic angles while also paying attention to lighting more. After taking a look at the shots she took, she was amazed at how much better they looked than her original ones. As Roxanne came in to her mind, Blair couldn't help but feel bad on the inside. She really screwed up with her, and she was anxious to make things right.
Thankfully, it didn't take too long for Blair to find a buyer for her bike around campus. With the pictures she had, she placed her bike for sale on the campus' student marketplace website. She listed it at a reasonable price, being as honest as she could with the bike's description and history. Before she knew it, a guy eventually came by a day later looking to take it off her hands, saying he wanted to purchase it for his girlfriend. Blair was more than happy to make a deal with him and even got an extra bit of money for her helmet. It was decked out with a punk aesthetic which was something the buyer's girlfriend liked. Even though Blair's helmet was custom and had some memories associated with it, she was willing to let it go in order to get as much money as she could to buy Roxanne a nice computer.
After getting the money from the buyer and saying goodbye to her bike for the last time, Blair went to find someone to help her pick out a worthy computer for Roxanne. She wasn't much of a techy, so she had no idea where to begin when choosing a high-end computer. Luckily, she had an acquaintance from high school who attended the same college that she knew. He was much more knowledgeable than her when it came to computers, so she needed his expertise. She still had his contact information, so the two met up to discuss things.
Blair told him her budget and asked him to find the best computer possible, also giving him some basic information about what Roxanne used her previous one for. She told him Roxanne wasn't much of a gamer, but she'd hope to get her more into it, so finding a computer that was capable of handling the latest games with ease was desirable. Taking in all of Blair's criteria, her friend went to work, searching the usual websites he normally used when buying computer parts. After a thorough search, he managed to find all the necessary parts online to create a suitable computer that met her needs. He compiled a list of everything she'd need and handed it over to her, saying he'd also help put everything together when it all arrived. Blair graciously thanked him and ordered everything on the list, paying extra for express delivery whenever it was possible.
When everything finally arrived a day or two later, Blair met up with her friend once again. She had him meet her at Gale's apartment where all the parts were delivered. The assembly of Roxanne's new computer went very smoothly, much more so than if Blair had to do it all on her own. Once it was complete, Blair thanked her friend and prepared to meet Roxanne to hand it over.
It had been almost a week since Blair had been kicked out of her room by Roxanne. Even though they'd seen each other since then, only because of their AFROTC activities, Blair was anxious to be with her again. During that time, if Roxanne didn't need to talk to Blair, she didn't. She even sat on the other side of the room whenever they had class together. Blair wanted to make things right and just hoped Roxanne wasn't still upset with her.
It was late in the afternoon, but Blair was sure Roxanne was in the room. Both of their classes had finished for the day, and Roxanne wasn't the type of girl to go out partying, especially on a school night. She cleaned up the room Gale had let her stay in, leaving it just the way she had found it when she first arrived. Once she had gathered all her things, she looked to Roxanne's computer. She borrowed some spare linens from Gale and wrapped the computer in it, to both protect it and keep it a surprise. Before leaving the apartment to take a public bus back onto campus, she thanked Gale once again for letting her stay over for the past few days. Hopefully, she was going to be welcomed back with open arms, so in the event of that happening, she had all her belongings with her.
Blair couldn't help but feel anxious during the bus ride back. She had never been in a fight with a significant other before, and she just hoped their relationship wasn't beyond salvaging. Arriving at the bus stop closest to her dorm, she got off and hurried on back to her room. Again, her mind was lost in itself, and her body moved on auto-pilot, taking her right to in front of her room. When she finally snapped out of it, she was staring right at her dorm room's door.
Shaking in her boots from the nerves, Blair carefully placed the computer on the ground and reached into her jacket pocket, pulling out her keys. Just as she was about to slide her room key into the lock, she stopped and wondered if it was okay to just barge in, even if it was her room as well. In the end, she decided to just knock and pocketed her keys.
After waiting but a brief moment, the door cracked open and Blair nearly gasped at the sight. Before her was Roxanne, the love of her life, but she was looking a little less than enthused to see her standing there.
"Oh… it's you," said Roxanne in a rather monotone voice, her expression still a bit sour at the sight of Blair.
Hearing Roxanne's voice and seeing her like that made Blair wince slightly, but she tried to ignore it. "Hey, there, Rox. Mind if I… come in?" she asked.
Roxanne glared at Blair, seeing her toting her bags with her. She let out a sigh and opened the door fully, stepping out of the way. "Well, this is your room as well after all, so… yeah. I guess so," she said.
Blair gave her a slight nod and smiled, stepping into the room after picking up the computer wrapped in a bedsheet. Looking around, she noticed that it was clean as usual, but to her surprise, her side of the room was clean as well. She walked over to her desk and noticed everything neatly squared away. Roxanne had to have cleaned everything while she was gone.
"Uh, thanks for cleaning my side of the room," said Blair as she tried to give off an amicable air.
Roxanne just grumbled, closing the door and returning to her desk. "It was distracting me from my work, so I took the liberty of tidying things up. You know- since you weren't around to do it yourself," she said.
Blair shuddered slightly at Roxanne's words but managed to keep it together. She set her duffel bag down along with the computer and looked to Roxanne, noticing a laptop already on her desk. She tensed up, wondering if all her efforts were in vain. "Oh, you already bought a new computer?" she asked as she stepped closer to get a better look.
Sensing Blair coming closer, Roxanne stopped typing momentarily then resumed her work without paying her much mind. "It's just a temporary replacement until I can get myself a full desktop again. It's rather cheap, but it gets the job done when it comes to my school work. Of course, I had to redo and restart a lot of it, but you wouldn't know anything about that, would you?" she said.
Blair grimaced and just stood awkwardly in the middle of the room, removing her backpack from her back. Surely the computer she got for Roxanne was better than the current one she was using. "Rox, can we just have a normal talk, please?" she asked.
Roxanne stopped typing once again and exhaled through her nose in a semi-annoyed fashion. She then closed her laptop and turned towards Blair, crossing one leg over another. "All right then. Speak. What do you have to say for yourself now?" she asked, gesturing to Blair with her hand.
Relieved that Roxanne was being somewhat reasonable, Blair began trying to make things right. "First off, I just want to say that- I'm sorry," she said from the bottom of her heart. She then went back over to her desk and retrieved Roxanne's new computer. "And to make things right, I uh, got you this." She took the computer and handed it to Roxanne.
"And what's this?" asked Roxanne as she eyed the item in Blair's hand.
"It's a new computer. I spared no expense getting it for you. I even had to have a friend help me pick it out and assemble it," said Blair as she carefully removed the sheets, revealing the new computer in her hands.
Roxanne gave the computer a wary look then finally took it from Blair. "Is that so, huh? Well, I guess I can take a look at it," she said, feeling a little bit excited by the gesture. She made some space on her desk and set the computer down, noticing the sleek aesthetic. "Huh, nice brand. At least your friend has some taste." She then hooked everything up and turned it on, noticing how much faster it was than her new, cheap one and even her old computer. "Boot up is pretty quick. But, that's to be expected of a brand-new computer." Once it was up and running, she opened up a summary of the internal parts within the computer and was left almost speechless.
All the while, Blair was watching with bated breath, wondering if she'd done a good job. "So, does it live up to your standards?" she asked as she stood beside Roxanne, looking over her shoulder.
After getting a grip on things, Roxanne turned away from her new computer and looked to Blair with an astonished look. "This- These parts- How did you get all this? Some of these parts are the latest in their series, costing hundreds of dollars!?" she said.
Blair chuckled and reached into her jacket pocket for her keys. "Well, don't worry your pretty, little head about that," she said, tossing them on the desk next to the computer.
Roxanne looked to the set of keys on the desk, noticing the cute black cat keychain on it. She had gotten it for Blair to replace her old, worn-out one, which was an anime character from one of Blair's favorite shows. Taking the keys in hand, she then noticed that something was missing from the keyring- Blair's motorcycle key. It took a moment, but she eventually managed to piece everything together.
"You- You sold your bike?" asked Roxanne, handing the keys back to Blair.
"Well, it was becoming a hassle, so I figured I'd let it go and make a quick buck," said Blair as she tried to brush it off, but to be honest, she did kind of miss her bike. However, for the sake of their friendship, its sale was well worth it. "And besides, once we become badass officers in the Air Force, I can just buy a new, better one."
Seeing the lengths Blair was willing to go to apologize, Roxanne began to get emotional and tear up. She then sprung up out of her seat and embraced Blair in a loving hug. "I've missed you so much!" she said, finally allowing herself to let her true emotions out. "I've wanted to text you and talk to you, but I forced myself not to. I wanted to see if you'd apologize or not. I was about to give up hope, but then this all happened!"
Feeling Roxanne pressed up against her, all Blair could do was smile and hug her back. She dropped the bedsheet to the ground and wrapped her arms around her, holding her close. "I'm sorry it took me so long for me to do it. I know it was all my fault. I was just being stubborn, like usual," she said, nearly coming to tears herself at their long-awaited reunion. "You forgive me, right?"
Roxanne chuckled, not wanting to let go of Blair just yet. "Of course, I do, Hon. I can always get a new computer, but I can't just get a new you. I just want to put all this behind us and continue being a couple like before," she said.
"Me too," said Blair.
The two remained embraced in each other's arms for a while longer, savoring each other's company. Eventually, they slowly broke away, happy that they could finally be together again. Blair returned to her side of the room and began to unpack her bags while Roxanne sat back down at her desk, exploring her new computer more. Shortly after she started to get more acquainted with it, Roxanne looked to Blair with a hopeful look.
"Hey, I was actually going to go out and take more pictures for my photography final. I was wondering if you'd like to join me," said Roxanne as she took hold of her camera.
Blair finished up what she was doing and looked to Roxanne. "Uh, yeah. I'm not sure what I can do to help, but I'll tag along," she said.
Roxanne chuckled as she put on her jacket. "Looking back, I realized that my previous photographs for my final lacked a unified theme, a central figure. They could've been a lot better had I had one," she said as she looked to Blair. "I want you to be that central figure."
"Huh? You want me in your pictures?" asked Blair after having put on her boots and jacket.
"Why not? I've already picked out the places I want to photograph from last time, and with you in them, it'll only make them that much better," said Roxanne.
"Oh, well. If you say so. I've never modeled, so…," said Blair as she glanced away from Roxanne.
"Don't worry about it. I'll direct you as necessary, but for most of it, you just need to act natural," said Roxanne as she finished getting ready to head out. "It'll be easy."
Blair gave Roxanne a reassuring smile and nodded. Once they were ready, they headed out and left their dorm room. Feeling as content as could be, Blair smiled warmly and nuzzled up close to Roxanne as they walked, wrapping an arm around. At the same time, Roxanne nuzzled up against Blair, feeling completely at peace and glad to have her girlfriend back.
