Wow! Hogwarts is amazing at Christmastime! And the best part is, I'm going home so I won't have to see that prick of a boy James Potter. He's still trying to get me to go out with him. After six whole years. Can you believe him? Well, I'll just keep turning him down. Anyway, the Christmas dance is around the corner and everyone's got a date but me! What do I do? Whatever it is, I will NOT go with Potter.

God, I feel like a girl! I mean seriously, writing in a diary? Anyway, I only have this notebook so I can keep track of progress with Lily Evans, but from now on, I'll refer to her as… The Snitch because if she found this journal, she'd hex me within an inch of my life.
