A New Beginning

I'm so sorry for taking so long to continue the story I have been busy but I hope that the story will make up for it.

Chapter 1: Intruders

Baraka stepped towards the heavily laden doors of the emperor's throne room. This was one room he didn't like entering because he was usually going to be shouted at or going to be sent on a mission. But this time he had just finished a long tiring mission so it couldn't be any of the two. Baraka pulled on the lion shaped handles of the large door and entered. He bowed at the sight of his emperor.

"Emperor Shao Kahn" He said

"Baraka, you have completed your mission it took you long enough." Shao Kahn replied

"Sorry emperor, it won't happen next time I will finish quicker next time."

"It better not happen again!" The emperor shouted "You are dismissed Baraka"

Baraka bowed and turned to exit the room when suddenly one of Shao Kahn's soldiers burst through the door and shouted "Shao, Shao Kahn intruders"

He was panting heavily and using his hands as supports by resting it on his knees.

"Who is" But before Shao Kahn could finish his sentence a chain with a spear at the end pierced through his soldier's heart.

"Baraka, deal with the intruders." Shao Kahn commanded

Baraka extended his blades and rushed the intruder. Baraka stopped he was shocked because he the intruder was dressed like Scorpion. "It cant be' he thought to himself he swung his blade at the intruder but the intruder dodged it. Baraka used his knee and hit the ninja in his chin. The ninja wobbled back "This isn't Scorpion, I wouldn't hit him so easy, But this is a member of his clan". The ninja pulled out a sword and charged towards Baraka, Baraka blocked this attack with his blades. The ninja flipped back and kicked Baraka in his head, Baraka staggered back but didn't get much time to recover because he was rushed again. He ducked under a punch and cut through the ninjas belly. "Damn you." The ninja muttered as he fell to the floor.

Baraka smiled and ran through the long hall looking for more intruders and eliminating the ones he could find. With help from Rain, and he others he killed all the intruders. Shao Kahn ordered all of the warriors to the throne room.

"My Shadow Priest have located the source of the intrusion and who sent them. It seems as if Baraka didn't complete his mission because the person who them is Scorpion."
