When Caitlin returns to Central City after six years away with her five year old daughter. She is forced to face the man she left behind believing he had cheated all those years ago while running from an abusive relationship. Snowbarry. Not for fans of Iris!

Part 1

She closed her suitcase grabbed her jacket and purse. She then walked out of the apartment she had been sharing with her boyfriend for the past six months. She couldn't believe that he had cheated. Not only that he had cheated but he had cheated with the one person that had made her life hell in high school. She got into her car and drove away wiping tears from her eyes. She really thought he had loved her. Her phone rang as she headed out of town. She ignored it seeing his name come up. She was too hurt to listen to him. She didn't want to listen to him tell her that he was in love with that bitch.

He tossed his phone down not bothering leaving a message. He knew that she was not going to listen. He looked around the apartment he had shared with his girlfriend. He couldn't believe that she was gone. He picked up her note written in anger.

I saw you kissing her! We are done!

He sat on the couch crying dropping the note back on the coffee table next to the ring box holding the engagement ring he had saved up to buy since shortly after they moved in together. He had just lost the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with all because of someone he thought was his friend. Someone who hated the woman he loved for no reason.

Eight months later

She held her new daughter in her arms. She never thought that she would be a single mother. But when she found out she was pregnant after leaving him. She couldn't terminate it. Despite what happened she still loved him. This little girl was a small piece that she was going to be able to hold onto. She looked up and smiled when her older brother stuck his head in the room.

"Hey sis you up for a visitor?"

"Only if it is you Charlie."

"Of course it's me. Did you really think that mom would tear herself away from work? The only time she ever did was when you had appendices."

"Yeah well she had no choice I was thirteen and had to have surgery or die."

"Very true. So have you picked a name for my niece yet?"

"Yeah I have. Charlie meet Crystal Nora Snow-Allen."

"Caitlin, you are giving her his name?"

"He is her father. Charlie, despite everything I still love him. Barry Allen may have broken my heart. But I love him and always will."

"You going to tell him about his kid?"

"I don't know. I tried calling him a couple of times. But I couldn't do it. I couldn't write him either I was afraid that she would get it."

"Too bad dad taught me to never hit a girl. I would have given her a piece of my mind all those years ago. But if I ever run into him with her I will kick his ass for hurting you."

"Charlie, leave Barry alone."

"Caitlin, he hurt you!"

"I still love him."

"I know you do. I actually thought he was a good guy."

"Promise me that if you see him again that you won't hurt Barry."

"I promise."

"You are also are to never tell him about Crystal."

"Damn it Caity! The least he can do is give you child support!"

"Charles Thomas Snow never use that kind of language around my daughter again! Barry is not going to just give me money to help take care of his child. He will want to be her father in every way. While I could deal with that I will not have Iris West anywhere near my child."

"I don't blame you. Now will you let me hold her? I mean I can use the practice Erin is pregnant."

"That is great. Are you ever going to ask her to marry you? I mean you have been with her since you were thirteen. That was twelve years ago."

"I know. I don't want her to think that I am marrying her just because she is having my baby."

"She won't Charlie. She loves you."

"When did my baby sister get so smart?"

"I have always been smart. Why do you think I got picked on so much?"

"I guess that is true. You were always smarter than me. Which is why I never understood why mom treated you like crap. Dad was great to both of us. But

mom I don't get."

"Forget mom."

Barry walked into CCPD and headed for his lab when he was stopped by the last person he wanted to see.

"Barry it's been a long time!"

"Not long enough. Get out of my way Iris."

"Is that any way to greet an old friend?"

"You and I haven't been friends since you destroyed my relationship with Caitlin. I was planning on asking her to marry me! But you could not stand to see her happy so you decided to ruin things with her."

"I never understood what you saw in that geek."

"I don't know what I saw in you to think you were my friend. Caitlin is beautiful, kind and I still love her. I told you eight months ago I never want to see you again. Now get out of my way."

Barry pushed past Iris and headed up to the crime lab. Iris glared at him. She had thought that he would be over that loser Caitlin Snow by now.

"I told you that Barry didn't want anything to do with you. Iris, I did not raise you to be such a mean spirited person. Caitlin Snow did not deserve to have you to treat her like trash. It is your own fault that you lost Barry as a friend. You should have left the girl alone." Said Joe West

Iris huffed and walked out of CCPD. Joe sighed and turned to his partner Eddie Thawne.

"We got a case Joe."

"Let's go."
