Charlie sat down next to his sister handing her a bottle of strawberry flavored water that he knew she liked.
"So you getting back with Barry?"
"In time. I should have trusted him."
"Caity, look I know that you have been to hell and back. But as much as I hate to admit it. Barry was the best thing to happen to you."
"No Charlie. Crystal is the best thing to happen to me. Barry is the second."
"Yeah I guess you are right. But you were the happiest I ever saw you since we lost dad when you were with Barry."
"Barry taught me how to truly love."
"I know. Caity, I am going to be with you when you and mom talk later."
"You know what it is about don't you?"
"Yeah I do. She is going to explain why she froze you out. There is no good reason. But I convinced her you should know the truth."
"You aren't going to tell me?"
"No. While I do know the reason it is not my place to tell you."
"I understand."
"I am glad that you finally told Barry about his daughter."
"Well seeing as Crystal and I were staying with his parents for nearly two months. I didn't really have much choice."
"He is a good dad."
"Yeah I know. I knew he would be."
"So other than just getting out of an abusive relationship why aren't you and Barry together?"
"Because I still am that insecure girl I have always been. I just started therapy to resolve those issues."
"Caity, I should have done more to help you."
"Char, you are two years older than me. You had your own things. You are the best brother a girl could have asked for. I am the one that had hard time making friends and trusting people."
"Yeah well Dick destroyed what little trust you were able to gain."
"No Iris West is to blame. She knew I was insecure. She set it up so I would see her kissing Barry knowing I would run."
"Which you did."
"Yeah. Char, Richard is tracked me down to Central City. Iris is working with him. I haven't seen him only because Courtney Banks from high school has gotten most of the workers at Jitters running interference. The one time he nearly caught me there a week ago. Iris was trying to detain me. Crystal kicked Iris then Courtney got us out the back which is only a block from CCPD. Eddie got us into Captain Singh's office. Captain Singh threw Richard out of CCPD and told him if he lays a hand on me or Crystal he will throw him in jail. Making sure the other prisoners know he is not only a cop but a woman beater. Apparently there is some code when it comes to criminals."
"There is. Men don't hurt women or kids."
"So that is two strikes against Richard if he goes to jail."
"Yeah. Caity, you know that I love you. But for being as smart as you are. You make some dumb choices in your life."
"Like you are one to talk Charles Andrew Snow. It took getting Erin pregnant for you to marry her. Or was it her five brothers?"
"The only two that scared me were the two older ones. Patrick and Timothy."
"I don't know Shawn is kind of intimidating."
"He is two years younger than Erin."
"Yeah my age. He tried to beat up this guy that tried to get her sister Caroline to go out with him. Though I am pretty sure that Caroline did marry the guy."
"Ronnie Raymond. He is a good guy. He actually had a thing for you. But he could tell even before you got together with Barry that he was the only guy you had eyes for."
"I knew about his crush. He did ask me out once. I gently trued him down. I told him that I couldn't go out with one if my brother's friends. I told him that you would kill him if I dated him."
"I wouldn't of killed him. Just punched his lights out."
"What order are Erin's brothers and sisters in? I can never keep it straight."
"Ok first are her twin sisters. Kimberly and Kathleen, don't remember which was first. Then it is her twin brothers. Patrick and Timothy. Then it is Erin, Shawn, Caroline, Peter, James and Kayla is the youngest."
"Please don't tell me you plan to have ten kids too."
"No Erin all ready told me that the twins are going to be it. She wants me to get sniped."
"Charlie it is not that big of a deal. It would be major surgery for Erin to get her tubes tied. For you it is an out patient surgery. I mean you won't be able to have sex for a couple days. But if you time it around the birth of the twins then it wouldn't be a big deal anyway."
"I know. But I just never liked the idea of surgery that isn't necessary."
"Charlie, unfortunately for you birth control didn't seem to work very well. So it is for the best. I am sure Henry could recommend a good doctor to you."
"I might ask him about that."
"Good. You want to keep your wife happy."
"I know. But I want my baby sister to be happy too."
"Charlie, I haven't been your baby sister for a long time."
"You will always be my baby sister."
Charlie pulled Caitlin into a hug. She knew that her brother loved her and was just trying to protect her.
Iris sat in a bar with two of her friends. They were all drinking martinis.
"Iris don't you think that it is time to just let this grudge against Caitlin Snow go? I mean it has gone on forever." Said Jasmine Grant
"Yeah what you are talking about doing could get you thrown in jail. You want to hire some guy to kill a little kid." Said Jessica Lewis
"Why do you care? Neither of you like Caitlin either." Said Iris
"But we don't want an innocent kid to die. Or Caitlin for that matter. Looking back at things she was right to turn all of us in. Cheating was the wrong thing to do." Said Jasmine
"Jaz is right Iris. Not only do you want to hire some to kill Caitlin and Barry's kid. But you want to give Caitlin something that might kill her." Said Jessica
"I doubt that a few drops of peanut oil will hurt that bitch." Said Iris
"Actually it could kill her. My little sister is allergic to peanuts. One mini peanut butter cup nearly killed her." Said Jessica
"I think Caitlin is nothing but a liar. Nothing bad is going to happen to her."
"Yeah well neither Jess or I want anything to do with this." Said Jasmine
Iris watched as her two friends walked out of the bar. She had no idea what was going on with her friends. But like hell she was going to be stopped from getting Caitlin Snow out of Barry's life forever.
