Part 32
Dr. Harrison Wells made sure no one was nearby and placed his hand on the wall opening the hidden room. He walked in making sure the secret panel closed behind him. He walked to the pedestal in the center of the room and activated the A.I.
"Good day Dr. Wells. How can I help you?" asked the A.I.
"Is everything still on track?" asked Wells
"Unfortunately not. In two months Caitlin Snow will be murdered by Richard Carson. Because of that Barry Allen never becomes the Flash. Though he still becomes a speedster when the particle accelerator explodes. Only he becomes Savitar. He goes on a killing spree. He kills over three hundred men. All murderers, rapists and women and child abusers. In the end you never return to your time."
"So if I prevent the death of Ms. Snow does Mr. Allen become the Flash?"
"The probability that preventing the death of Caitlin Snow will lead Barry Allen to become the Flash is 100%."
"Thank you Gideon."
After making sure the hallway was clear he made his way out of his time vault.
Barry walked down the hall of the hospital holding Crystal's hand. They were heading to Caitlin's room. Crystal was holding a bud vase with a single rose in it.
"Daddy why is there a policeman outside mommy's room?" asked Crystal
"He is there to make sure that no one who shouldn't goes in that will hurt her." Said Barry
"Hey Barry." Said the guard
"Hey Steve." Said Barry
"So this is Caitlin's and your kid I have heard about. Good thing she takes after her mom and not you. Hi I am Steve, your mom is really smart and helped me get through school. So don't worry. While my friends and I are around no one is going to hurt your mom." Said Steve
"You are really big." Said Crystal
"Yeah. But I am not mean. Especially to pretty little girls like you. I will only be mean to someone that hurts nice people like your mom."
"Ok. I need to see mommy now."
Barry took Crystal into the room. Crystal could see her mom sitting up in bed watching tv.
"Mommy!" said Crystal
"Hey sweetie. Have you been good for daddy and grandma Nora?" asked Caitlin
"Yes. So has Snowbarry. Daddy and I got you this flower."
"It's beautiful thank you. Guess what I get to come home tomorrow." Said Caitlin
"Really? Cause I miss you."
"Yes grandpa Henry cleared me an hour ago."
"That's great Cait. I will drive you home. Your car was picked up by Eddie and Patty and taken back to our house. Patty drove so all you should have to do is readjust the mirrors. You two are close in height so the seat should be in the same position." Said Barry
"That's good. I do want to see Jessica and thank her for saving my life." Said Caitlin
"I will call her and set up a meet at Jitters. Cisco also wants to see you."
"Of course he does. I still want to go to the launch of the particle accelerator in a couple weeks."
"I thought you would. Where is your mom?" said Barry
"She went to get something to eat and make some calls. Charlie has called me ten times since he went home yesterday."
"He was always over protective of you. But then again you are his little sister."
"There were times that I didn't mind as a kid. But now it is kind of annoying."
"He loves you. Just like I love you." Said Barry
"Barry, my brother loves me. But not the same way you do. If he did that he would need a lot of help. Besides that would be a bit creepy."
"Yeah almost as creepy as my cousin Jesse loved me the same way you love me."
"How is Jesse?"
"Good crazy smart. I think she is even smarter than you."
"Is she going to school in town?"
"Actually she graduated last year. She took a job at Mercury Labs. She really likes working with Dr. McGee."
"Of course she would. Dr. Christina McGee is one of the top scientists in the world."
"Very true."
"Mommy, can I stay with you tonight?" asked Crystal
"No honey you have to go home and sleep in your own bed. Besides don't you think Snowbarry will be lonely without you?" asked Caitlin
"I guess so. But I don't like when you aren't home at night."
"I know. But I am coming home soon. I don't like being away from you at night either. But daddy takes good care of you right?"
"Yes."
"I bet Snowbarry stays in your room too right? Maybe even sleeping in your bed."
"Yeah. It ok he sleep in my bed right?"
"Yes. He likes to cuddle much like your dad use to a long time ago."
"I would like to cuddle with someone like I use to." Mumbled Barry
Caitlin raised an eyebrow at him. Barry met her eyes and thought they flashed an icy blue for a second. But when he looked again they were the warm brown that they always have been.
Jay Garrick Allen watched out the window of his lab. He frowned when he saw a streak of red lightning going down the street. He just wasn't sure how that was possible. As far as he knew he was the only speedster. But then again it was possible there were others. There had been all kinds of accidents over the years that had resulted in different metahumans. In fact he had become a speedster during a lightning storm when a bolt of lightning hit him sending him into a rack of chemicals. Very few knew his identity as a hero only his wife, brother Henry and sister in law Nora. Not counting the team he use to work with. Well until they were defeated by the Injustice Society. Only a few of them walked away that night. He was one of them. Though to keep the Injustice Society from learning he was still alive he had to retire from being a superhero. Though now days he was getting a bit old to be running around the city catching criminals. He had to let the unknown speedster go for now. He could not risk putting his family in danger definitely not his daughter Jesse.
