So, I've got a new one for you guys. Thanks to moving, and family visiting to help out with the move, I saw that the Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame were playing on FX (have Sling and it's fantastic) were playing and I was doing some thinking. In doing so, I remembered some previous fics out there involving Star Wars, specifically the old Legends continuity; even more specifically KOTOR/SWTOR. Even even more specifically? Revan.
So, what did I have in mind? Well, what I was thinking for this pilot, in particular, was a double flashforward scene for both Infinity War and one for Endgame before jumping back to where it all started in The Avengers for the specifics for how Revan got to MCU Earth (Earth-616?). The particulars on that will involve SWTOR's Revan story, after reuniting the Dark and Light sides of himself, he finds himself at the Will of the Force transported to a planet in another reality where his expertise in the Force is required.
I know you are going to ask, but how will a powerful Grey Force user affect the MCU? Well, that's where I'm a bit unsure. After all, I don't want this to be a pure tagalong story as that'd be boring. The only times I intend to be that way are in the two scenes that will be used as stingers/teasers for what I hope to accomplish in the end. As for the other movies, I have no idea. Obviously, Revan would need his own "movie" to fill in the time, and at this time I have no idea when that may be or what the contents of it would be. Probably something involving the Force since the single movies focus on the attributes and character development of the title character involved. Maybe partnering up with Strange? I don't know. But let's get this show on the road.
Title: [undecided]
Rating: T+? I'm sort of undecided on this one.
Summary: With the rejoining of Revan's light and dark sides, he was sent to the Netherworld of the Force long enough to receive a new mission in a new reality. Join Revan as he finds himself thrown into Earth-616 and interacts with the superhuman beings that live upon it.
Pairing: undecided, if any.
Disclaimer: I own nothing except my copy of MS Word and my desktop. Both the MCU and Star Wars belong to Disney. See the foreword for the full disclaimer.

The son and daughter of Thanos, lay defeated at a railing at the metro platform they found themselves in. Standing above them victorious were the individuals known to them as Captain America, Falcon, and Black Widow. Behind the three superheroes of Earth were Vision and Wanda. Falcon summoned submachine guns from his armor holding the two at gunpoint. They were as defenseless as they were defeated.
"Get up!" the daughter ordered.
"I can't," the son grunted.
"We don't want to kill you," Natasha said victoriously, "but we will."
"You'll never get the chance again," the daughter gloated. She slapped a button on her gauntlet and a beam of light surrounded the pair. They started to rise but came to a sudden stop. "What!?" she exclaimed. She felt herself and her brother be held in place but some kind of force.
"Curious," a voice said walking in, his hand extended. He was hooded, clad in robes with a mask in a 'T' shape obscuring his identity. "I heard your species was resilient, but I wonder: what will break first your spirit, or your bodies?"
Steve looked over to the man, "Revan," he greeted.
"Rodgers," the masked man now identified as Revan replied with a nod of his own greeting.
The sister started to panic. She could feel her spine start to stretch painfully. "How are you doing this?!" she cried out, mostly in anger. But there was pain, and it was growing.
"Maybe if you survive, I'll tell you." He walked closer, methodically. "I sense much fear in you." The gaze behind his mask flickered to the male. "Fear… for your brother. He is bleeding out. He has maybe, four? Five minutes left in this life? Surrender, and he'll be treated well as a prisoner of war."
Her eyes flickered to her gauntlet and pressed a button. A missile left the clouds above and soared towards the group of superheroes. Revan, feeling a warning in the Force, turned his attention to the threat and stopped it in front of him. This moment of shifted attention allowed the tractor beam to beam up the duo. Seeing this, Revan flung the missile back at the ship engulfing the two Children of Thanos in a fireball. The ship wasted no time in fleeing Earth's atmosphere.
"Did you kill them?" Steve asked.
"No," Revan replied. The sense of danger passed, and he lowered his hood and removed his mask. "They live to fight another day. I do not need the Force to sense that they will return." Revan's voice was more normal, not modulated to add an air of mystery.
"Where were you? You could have helped us," Falcon commented as he put away his weapons.
"You had the situation under control. After all, it is quite difficult to clear out civilians who wish to see the Avengers in action, despite the clear and present danger that may incur."
"What is your opinion of these 'Children of Thanos'?" Steve asked Revan as he helped Vision to his feet.
"They are quite powerful warriors in strength and spirit. If the misnomer 'Children of Thanos' is anything to go by, then we should assume that Thanos himself is of greater power, whether multitudes or magnitudes, I cannot say." Revan turned to see Vision much closer and see the damage he sustained. "You are injured. Come, I have landed Stark's 'quinjet' outside."
"You landed it outside?" Natasha asked.
"Have you forgotten my tales? I have flown starships from fighters to mighty dreadnaughts. Flying a fast-moving transport vessel with the power of the Force is but nothing but a drop in the bucket of what I can do," Revan said with a grin.

The remaining Avengers, and companions, stood in a room with a hologram projector. On it, Rocket explained what had happened. "When Thanos used the Infinity Stones, he caused a power surge of unheard-of cosmic proportions," he explained as he walked around the table's rim. Re-explaining the group's failure. "Two days ago, it happened again. Here," he pointed out a new planet. Way out of the way.
"He used the Stones again," Natasha commented.
"But to do what?" Revan asked. "Thanos got what he wanted. Half of all life extinguished in a snap," Revan said as he mimicked the action Thanos had done all but a few weeks ago. "There was an image I saw on the internet not too long before the battle that gives me similar feelings: a goose collects all of the Dragonballs, a dragon appears, the goose honks, the dragon says, '…as you wish' and disappears. Nothing has noticeably changed and that makes you feel nervous. Thanos has made another wish, but yet nothing has changed majorly since the last time they were used."
"The wave the Stones would have created would have echoed off the cosmos in no time flat. Everyone everywhere was affected by his first use at the same time," Danvers commented and Revan nodded. "Which means…"
"Whatever Thanos did should have hit us by now," Banner finished.
"Yet it hasn't," Revan concluded.
"Do you sense anything?" Rodgers asked.
Revan reached out to the Force, but all he heard were the echoes of the Lost. Those snapped from existence, yet echoes of them still remained. "Sense?" Danvers asked.
"Revan is a powerful warrior capable of using a field of energy called the Force," Rodgers explained.
"No," Revan shook his head, silencing the screams. "I cannot sense anything different. All I hear is as it was before: the screams and panic of trillions of souls lost to the Netherworld of the Force." Revan braced himself against the table as the sudden wave of emotions ran through him.
"Are you alright?" Natasha asked as she grabbed his arm to help him back to his feet.
"No. What Thanos has created is known only by somewhere I'm from as a Wound in the Force."
"A wound? I'm detecting a capital W there," Rocket commented.
"I've only experienced one once before, one that I caused which affected a young follower of mine, someone who would later go on to be named the Exile. A close friend." The wave of nausea passed over him.
"Why did you create one?" Danvers asked
"Who said that I wanted to create one? There was a battle above a planet called Malachor V," Revan began to explain, "Two fleets consisting of the Republic – which I commanded – and of the Mandalorians. Seeing that we were losing, I saw no other choice and activated a device called the Mass Shadow Generator. Not only did it destroy the two fleets in orbit, but it ravished the planet itself. Killing it and all who were on it except those in the temple I was inside which housed the device. The backlash of the destruction caused a Wound which would cause my companion, the Exile, to close herself off from the Force for a time before she returned to become the galaxy's savior once more," Revan finished his story with sad eyes. "The feeling of a Wound is sickly. Festering. It makes you nauseous and sick in every fiber of your being. If feeling around ten thousand souls dying on and around a remote world simultaneously can make you feel that…"
"Then trillions of souls vanishing must be a new torture," Steve concluded. Revan nodded. "How are you dealing with these… 'echoes'?"
"I am silencing them by cutting myself off from the Force when it is not required. It is quiet. Too quiet," Revan said.
"So," Banner said to get things back on topic, "we know where Thanos is. So, what? We just fly in and kill him?"
"Sounds simple enough," Rocket replied.
"Just like that?"
"Just like that," Danvers said.
"In case you haven't noticed, we're a little shorthanded. How will this end any differently?"
"Because last time you didn't have me."
"Listen, newbie," Falcon said. "We're all about that 'superhero life,' but this is different." Thor stood up and walked over to Danvers and looked her in the eye. Without saying a word, he held out a hand and his axe, Stormbreaker, flew into his hand. To which Danvers didn't flinch.
After a few more moments of silence Thor said, "I like her."
"She is quite powerful, I could sense it," Revan commented. "You have the same feeling as the energy that comes from the Infinity Stones."
She blinked in astonishment. "How did you know?" She stopped herself. "Right, essentially a space wizard. I was exposed to the Cube many years ago during an accident where I obtained my powers. I now know it held the Space Stone."
"So, are we good to kill Thanos?" Rocket asked.
"Yes, let's kill a bastard," Steve replied.
Everyone left the meeting room and went aboard Peter Quill's Milano, a ship that Revan couldn't help but compare slightly to many Corellian freighters that smugglers converted into their homes as well as places to keep cargo. It was well armed and was more of an assault ship as opposed to a transport sporting military-grade weapons to keep pirates, other smugglers, or governmental authorities away. Rocket and Nebula, the cyborg adopted daughter of Thanos, flew the ship due to being the most familiar with it. They strapped in and quickly entered high planetary orbit.
"Alright, who here hasn't been in space before?" Rocket asked. Natasha, Steve, and Rhodey all raised their hands. "You better not throw up on my ship."
"Approaching jump," Nebula announced. "In 3… 2… 1…"
They were suddenly pressed into their seats as the craft leapt into FTL, the universe passing them by until a honeycomb opening appeared and they zipped through it. Revan and the rest looked down at the planet. It had several moons and an asteroid belt around it. The cargo bay doors opened allowing Danvers to leave.
"I'll head down to recon," she announced before leaving. The energy surrounding her protecting her from the lifeless conditions of space. While she did her recon work, the rest were left to wait.
Revan meditated without the Force to clear his mind. As he did, Steve looked at a picture inside of a compass, it was old. This didn't go unnoticed by Natasha. "This is going to work, Steve," she tried to reassure him.
"I know it will," Steve replied confidently as he put it away in one of his suits many pockets. "Because I don't know what I'm going to do if it doesn't."
They didn't need to wait long as Danvers returned. "No satellites, no ships, no armies, no ground defenses of any kind," she reported. "It's just him."
"Then that's enough," Nebula commented.
The two pilots proceeded to maneuver the craft into the atmosphere on the other side of the planet to not alert the Mad Titan to their approach. As they made their final descent, Revan donned the rest of his robes and mask before clipping his lightsabers to his belt. This was a kill mission. It wasn't his first, and it wouldn't be his last. They landed in a clearing that allowed access to the Titan's position. As they approached for final recon, Revan noted the peace and quiet that existed on this planet. Nature was at peace for the most part. Everything in balance. Below them was just a hut and fields of native flora arranged in a farm pattern.
"He wipes out half of the universe, only to retire?" Revan questioned aloud allowing anyone to answer, but no one did.
"Get to your positions, people," Steve ordered. They had discussed in detail with the information that Danvers had recovered what the plan of attack was. Since nothing had changed since she returned and their landing, the plan would remain the same.
Revan drew upon the Force to make himself muted to all living beings' senses and positioned himself behind the hut. He clicked the 'speak' button of his communicator twice to signal he was in position. He heard similar clicks as well signaling everyone else was ready. Thanos was already in his hut preparing a meal, unaware of the ambush about to take place. In his earpiece, he could hear Danvers speak, "Executing in 3… 2… 1…"
No words were said next as Danvers unleashed a beam of energy toward Thanos who blocked it with the gauntlet. She proceeded to tackle him, knocking him off of his feet. She mounted his shoulders, holding his arm at bay with a leg. He tried to flex, but through the floor, one of Stark's many Iron Man suits – piloted by Banner – burst through the floor and grabbed him. Bursting through the roof and landing on the other side, Rhodes in his Warmachine suit held the other hand. Thor burst through another wall and sliced off the hand with a gauntlet. Finally, Revan ignited his sabers and sliced through the wall in two slices, and held his blades at Thanos's midsection in what some would call a pair of scissors ready to bisect him. Steve and Natasha wasted no time walking in making their appearance known to Thanos as well who was crying out in agony with the sudden removal of a limb.
Rocket walked over to the severed arm and flipped it over, the Stones were gone. He said what everyone was thinking, "Oh no."
Everyone was silent, contemplating what to say or do. Steve beat them to it. "Where are they?" Steve asked.
"Answer the question," Danvers 'encouraged' him.
"The universe required correction," Thanos – pained – started to grandstand. "After that, the stones served no purpose beyond temptation."
"You murdered trillions!" Banner exploded, pushing the defeated Titan over; the Titan falls to his back.
"You should be grateful." This was answered by a hydraulically enhanced punch to the jaw.
"Where are the Stones?" Natasha repeated the question. Already assuming the answer, but needed to hear it herself.
"Gone. Reduced to atoms."
"You used them two days ago," Banner stated.
"I used the Stones to destroy the Stones," Thanos said victoriously. Well, as victorious as a defeated man could be. "It nearly killed me. But the work is done. It always will be. I am… inevitable."
"We have to tear this place apart, he has to be lying," Rhodes said in disbelief, shaking his head.
"I sense no lies coming from him, only the truth," Revan said as he extinguished his sabers. "I sense the very energy in this spot."
"My father is many things. A liar is not one of them," Nebula confirmed.
"Ah, thank you, daughter," Thanos said, happy to see there was one grateful – at least in his eyes – person in the room. "Perhaps I treated you too harshly."
Sensing what Thor was about to do, Revan reached out with the Force holding Stormbreaker mere millimeters from Thanos's exposed neck. "What are you doing!?" Thor said angrily.
"No," Revan shook his head. "That is too good for him. Too quick."
"Well, what did you have in mind?" Thor asked as he withdrew his ax.
Revan turned to Banner, "Does that armor have recording capabilities?"
"Yeah," Banner confirmed. "Tony uses all the battle recordings for review and performance improvements."
"I want you to record everything I'm about to do. Do not turn away," Revan ordered and Banner nodded, pressing buttons to start recording whatever Revan was about to do. He turned his attention to Thanos. "You are correct, the universe needs correction. But it is not the correction you seek." Revan opened himself fully to the Force, allowing him to feel the Wound itself and channel it through him. Pain. Agony. Fear. Anguish. He felt it all yet retained his composure. "You? You are arrogance made manifest. As you have passed judgment on trillions, I have come to pass judgment on you. Would you like to feel the teachings borne of the Mandalorian Wars? Of all wars? Of all tragedies that scream across the universe!?" Revan raised his voice, the sudden volume increasing something that those who knew him in this realm shocking them as he was always the quiet and contemplative type. "Let me show you who have forever seen the universe through the Force. See it through the eyes of every person you've killed."
Those attuned to great power felt something off with Revan. He extended a hand and suddenly lightning leaped out and started to course through Thanos. But Thor noticed that this was not normal lightning as that was something he could channel and control. This was darker. Something rawer and more eldritch. Thanos screamed out in agony as he felt every life he snuffed out in person, by his orders, and by his snapping the remainders out of existence. Every blast from a weapon, every flesh-cleaving blow. The pain, fear, agony, and panic-filled last moment as they were dragged into the void. And when one had completed, another took its place. This continued for what felt like an eternity. Finally, it ended and there was nothing.
The storm of energy that surrounded Revan dissipated until there was nothing left. But Thanos wasn't responding. His eyes were hazed over and continued to scream in agony in the outside world.
"What did you do?" Rocket asked.
"The Wound in the Force has been closed. I've channeled every man, woman, and child he's ever killed – both with and without the Stones – and made him feel their pain," Revan answered out of breath. It had taken a physical and mental toll on him as well. Revan then turned to Thor. "You may end him if you wish. His spirit will be dragged to the deepest pits of the afterlife reserved for men such as him to eventually become nothing."
Thor took this and raised his ax and lopped off Thanos's head in a single swing. The body twitched once but was then still. Thor left after his work was done leaving the rest of them in silence. Nebula, feeling mixed emotions, closed the eyelids from Thanos's severed head. Revan sat down and knew that this wouldn't be the end, but it was it for now. As he did, he remembered how he got here in the first place.
XxXxXxX
Revan found himself somewhere hot, too hot. He sat up and found himself in a great desert spanning hundreds of kilometers in all directions. He flipped up his hood to protect his face from the sunlight. Despite being beyond hot out, somehow his robes kept him cool. And by cool, see: 'not boiling alive.' It was uncomfortable, it was dry, and it was still hot. Revan reached out with the Force to see which direction he needed to go, it told him to go what appeared to be towards the way of the setting sun.
That was the first thing that Revan noticed, it was that this was a single sun system. There was plenty of life on this planet, he could sense it, but it was far from here. And so, he started one foot in front of the other and started to march towards the life he sensed. Day turned into night and he rested in the cool for a few hours before starting again. He used the Force as his only energy supply until he reached civilization. The desert gave way to a lush river bank and river itself. He pulled out his survival kit which contained a small water purifier and proceeded to unceremoniously drink the purified water. Taking his fill, he started to walk along the river bank until he found himself in an abandoned, oar-powered boat. He took it and proceeded to use the flow of the river to bring him downstream much quicker than walking along the banks ever could. His choice in transportation was not a waste as the river soon revealed a city. A city with pyramids off in the distance reminded Revan of some renditions of ancient Sith temples.
He continued to follow the river's flow and docked at an empty space. Stepping off, someone on the docks started to chatter at him, but the language wasn't one he had heard before. "I'm sorry," Revan said, "I do not understand you." The man jabbered on; he was still unsure what he was saying but he could tell that he was angry. He waved a hand in front of him, hoping that he was weak-minded. "You will be at peace," Revan commanded, allowing the Force to translate his command – his will overriding the angry man's. He became silent. Revan followed up with another order, "You will point me to where the embassies are." The man pointed towards tall skyscraper buildings in the distance. "Thank you." Revan then proceeded to walk into the city itself.
As he went from the outskirts to housing, to the city center he made observations. The first was that this was what appeared to be a pre-spaceflight civilization. Or, if they had it, it was very uncommon. The sizes of the skyscrapers were impressive, though not much could compare to Coruscant or Taris (or insert one of the other many ecumenopolis examples in the galaxy) in their grandeur. He could feel the stares at his attire but the citizenry left him alone. Eventually, he found himself in front of a building flying a flag with red and white stripes except for a corner in the upper left which was a sea of blue with white stars. In the front were guards wielding slugthrowers; immaculately cleaned ones at that.
Revan was not a prude nor a man with a superiority complex. He knew just how devastating slugthroweers could be when designed correctly and wielded by those who knew their weapons well. Not only that, but his lightsabers wouldn't do much against them if he came to blows with these men at especially this range. While blasters were superior, even at under ten meters he'd be dead before he could blink unless he sabotaged the weapons with the Force beforehand. But these men wouldn't be here with weapons if there wasn't a good reason. They were defending a post while letting normal civilians go about their business unharassed.
"Halt," one ordered in Basic as the pair pointed their weapons towards him.
'This is good,' Revan thought. 'I can communicate with them. Basic isn't a universal language here? Interesting...' But Revan did as he was ordered. He stopped and raised his hands slowly to show that he wasn't a threat. "Greetings," he replied friendly. "I mean you no ill will. I only wish to speak to whoever is in charge."
"Who are you?" the other ordered.
"I am known by many things, but you may call me Revan. May I please come inside? It is quite hot out here."
To be continued...?
XxXxXxX
And with that, I declare this entry complete... for now. It was quite an interesting little pilot, showing what I want Revan to become should this pilot expand into something more. As the ending may have hinted, Revan found himself at the US Embassy in Egypt. Probably a strange place to have him arrive in, but I liked it as an idea. I am still heavily undecided as to what specifically I want to do for this fic. The big factors are the questions of how deeply do I want him involved with the MCU? There's a fic that I came across called "Reborn" by JustBored21 (id: 13622324) which does a similar concept except it is a crossover with Harry Potter instead. In that fic, the author goes through many of the MCU properties changing just enough to keep being called a "piggyback fic" as he tries to integrate the MCU with the Harry he created. Considering the fic is 70+ chapters long, that is quite a feat. Due to the fairly widespread approval of it, I'd say that he was successful. I don't want to use other fics as standards, just for my own sanity, but he is something to aspire to as it tries to do different things inside the very ridged MCU universe setting. If I were to continue this fic, I'd need to take such things into consideration and plan it heavily. If you thought my planning that I'd have to take into consideration for the one HP/SW fics I've been contemplating continuing were anything to go by, this would be on another level considering that there are over 10 years of MCU movies to go over on top of, potentially, the MCU TV shows (for better or for worse). Another thing I have to take into consideration is how involved do I want Revan? I'm talking romantically. After all, he had Bastilla, but at the same time, she'd be one of those people that would want him to let her go and move on with his life. Who would he be involved with? Would it be someone affected by the Snap to cause the events in Infinity War to have a greater impact on him? These are other things that need to be considered. But let me know what you think of the concept of this idea; what things would work, what things may not work, what things are so off the wall that I'd be better just leaving it at this pilot? All those things, let me know.
With this being posted, this will be the first chapter posted since my move happened about a week ago. As some of you may know, I have been going through a move the last few weeks due to life circumstances. I haven't moved far from my previous location and still work at the same job. The main thing that has changed is that I've been promoted and am making more money now than I was before. More money is always nice, especially in these times of uncertainty. With this move, more opportunities have opened. Specifically, in what I can write. In my previous location, I had to contend with a constantly crooning cat who was always baying for my affection and attention. Something that can interrupt the creative juices, especially when you're trying to work. (To clarify, this was my roommate's cat and not mine, it was just that they were gone all hours of the day and during the week that I was the only point of human interaction the cat had which was just sad. Luckily, it's with them now in their new place leaving me with one less (forced) responsibility). I also don't have a roommate who is breathing down my neck as well who always looked down on these writing experiments that I do in my free time for fun. So, all in all, I think that this move will be quite beneficial to me.
Speaking of other fics, I do have an update on a few more ideas that have come to me recently. I have been working on a few more "Flowerpot" ideas for the Potterheads out there, one of which involves NCIS and the other involving Mass Effect. Based on my current progress on the two, it's likely that the Mass Effect idea will be out first. I don't want to give a lot away, but if I go through with the Mass Effect idea, it'd be on a very high level of being ambitious. For other fics, I do have a few more ideas that fall into the camp of "original fics" or "original ideas," though that's a bit of a stretch because for those "original" ideas I was heavily inspired by other fics, doujin, random shower thoughts, etc. for them. That being said, I hope to have a few of these out really soon.
As always, let me know what you guys think in the usual places. Addresses in my bio for the crypto tip jars. And I will see you in whatever I decide to release next. Until next time.
