Part 43

Caitlin smiled as Eddie brought Crystal into Barry's room.

"Hey honey how was school?" asked Caitlin

"Ok. How is daddy? He wake up yet?" asked Crystal

"Not yet. Did something happen Eddie?" asked Caitlin

"A boy in fifth grade told Crystal that her dad isn't waking up because he hates her. Her teacher and even Jessica Lewis who is a first grade teacher at that school told her that the boy was wrong. That both her mommy and daddy love her very much." Said Eddie

"I hope that boy got in trouble." Said Caitlin her eyes glowing a frosty blue.

"Oh yeah. He is in big trouble. His mom got called in and she was beyond mad. Turns out his mom is one of Erin's older sisters. I don't think that boy realized he was being a jerk to his Uncle Charlie's niece."

"Do you know if it was Kimberly or Kathleen?"

"Nope. Never could tell them apart."

"It was Kimmy. She told Nicholas that he better hope that he never does anything like that again or he will get his punishment from his father." Said Crystal

"Zack Peters will not put up with his kids being mean to anyone. I met him a couple of times when Charlie and Erin had family barbeques at their house. Nice guy. But won't put up with his kids being bullies." Said Caitlin

"That is a good thing. There are some kids that are bullies because they learn to be that way from their parents."

"That is not the case with Iris."

"No it's not. Not that I ever met her mom."

"No one has. Shortly after Wally was born she abandoned her family."

"Caitlin, I should get back to work."

"Go Eddie. Crystal and I are fine. Nora and Henry make me go home and sleep in my bed every night."

Eddie hugged Caitlin then headed out.

"Mommy, I think you should kiss daddy like the prince kissed Snow White to wake her up." Said Crystal

"Honey, that kind of thing doesn't work in real life. You know Snow White isn't real right?"

"Yes mommy. You should still try it."

Caitlin just pulled her daughter close. She would never admit it to the six year old but she had been thinking about trying to see if this was a case of Sleeping Beauty. That maybe the only thing that would wake the love of her life. The man that she was truly starting to believe was her soulmate.

Listen to the kid Caity. Cause if you don't. I damn sure will. Though I think he would enjoy a kiss from you more.

Caitlin knew that Frost was right. But she was not going to try and wake Barry with a kiss in front of Crystal. After a couple of hours Henry walked in and took over being by Barry's side. Caitlin took Crystal home. Not feeling like cooking they made a stop at Big Belly Burger to pick up dinner. After eating dinner and watching Frozen, Crystal's favorite movie Caitlin tucked her daughter into bed.

"Mommy we should name my brother Kristoff." Said Crystal

"Kristoff like Anna's boyfriend in Frozen?"

"Uh huh."

"Don't you think that someone might make fun of him for having a the same name as a guy in a Disney movie that talks to a reindeer? How about Kristopher instead? We can spell it with a K like Kristoff."

"Ok can I call him Kris?"

"Yes you can call him Kris."

"He needs a middle name."

"Do you have any ideas?"

"Charlie after Uncle Charlie?"

"Well Uncle Charlie's real name is Charles. He just likes Charlie better."

"Kristopher Charles Allen."

"I think daddy will love the name you helped pick out for your brother."

"I want daddy to wake up. So do I honey."

The man that wore the face of Harrison Wells was not happy. Nothing had gone according to his plans as of yet. He was the one that was suppose to take care of Barry Allen and then train him to use his speed. Caitlin Snow was suppose to become Killer Frost and end up on Amanda Waller's Suicide Squad. But something had woken Frost earlier then expected. With Caitlin accepting her icy alter ego Frost was not going to go down the villain route. But he should have realized that things were not going his way when Barry and Caitlin got together in high school. But it had really been long before that he knew. It was the night that Nora Allen should have died by his hand. He had it planned all out. He would kill Nora and Frame her husband. But whoever that speedster was in the sliver winged helmet ruined those plans. He was going to find that speedster and do the one thing he couldn't do to Barry Allen. At least not until he becomes the Flash and he Eobard Thawne also known as the Reverse Flash returned to his time in the distance future. But this other speedster will die and it should not mess with the timeline to much.

"Jay any idea how much longer Barry is going to be in a coma?" asked Joan as she walked into his lab.

"Well I think that is up to Caitlin. His connection to the speed force is complete. Now he just needs his lightning rod to help ground him for him to wake up."

"So Caitlin is his lightning rod?"

"Yes just like you are mine. Caitlin just has to accept that roll. Every speedster needs a lightning rod. Without it they risk going insane."

"Maybe you should tell her Jay."

"She already knows in her heart. Besides Henry told me that she figured out that I am the speedster that saved Nora all those years ago. He wouldn't confirm nor deny it of course. But Caitlin is a smart young lady."

"Yes she is. I know that you are going out to look for that rouge speedster. Just be careful. If he is who you think he is then you know he has no problem killing."

"Trust me I know."

"Just come back to me. You nearly didn't that night you went up against the Injustice Society."

"I know. I lost a lot of friends that night. Those of us that did survive have been keeping a low profile. Besides someone needs to be around to train Barry to use his powers the right way."

"Good to see you have motivation to come home."

"I always have had motivation from the day you walked into my life."

Jay kissed Joan and then took off to do a patrol of the city.
