Part 52
Barry and Frost arrived at the scene of a robbery in progress at Mercury Labs. Barry having convinced Caitlin that Kris would be fine with his mom.
"Well who do we have here? The Flash I have heard so much about? Now the lady on the other hand I haven't heard much about. Well other than from that now dead ex cop that was beating on his woman. So tell me what do I call you Princess?"
"Name's Frost. You must be Leonard Snart. Hear that you like it cold. Too bad you need that toy to do even a little of what I can do." Said Frost
Frost sent a blast of ice at Snart only to be met with a blast of fire.
"I don't think you have met my friend Mick Rory. But you can call him Heatwave. Call me Cold." Said Snart
"Yeah well you are both going back to Iron Heights." Said Barry
"No way Red! I am not going back in that cage." Growled Heatwave
"I don't think you two get it. We aren't going to let you keep robbing places or hurting people." Said Frost
"Well Frosty. By the way you are a woman after my own heart. Not that you are my type. But I am sure you would not shed a tear over us hurting or arranging for others to hurt or maybe even kill bastards like Richard Carson. The world needs less people like that and my old man too." Said Snart
"You arranged for Carson to be killed in Iron Heights?" asked Barry
"He was a pig that deserved to die. You don't beat on a babe." Said Heatwave
"Don't call women babes." Said Barry
"Flash, don't you think it is time to disarm and take these two over to CCPD? Then stop by base and get their confessions of plotting the murder of Carson?" asked Frost
"You do know that I agree with them about him deserving to die." Said Barry
"True. But fact is we got to turn them in. It is what heroes do." Said Frost
"Which one you want? The fire bug or the Mr. Freeze knockoff?"
"I'll take Snart. You take Rory. But I will help you with him if you need it after I take down Snart."
"More like I will help you."
"We can go if you want to have a lover's spat." Said Snart
"We are not having a lover's spat." Said Frost sending an icicle at Snart
"Yeah you might not want to make her angry. You won't like her when she is angry." Said Barry
Frost shot him an ice glare that flashed to a warm brown for a second and Barry knew when they got back he was in for it. Barry flashed off a second later going after Rory while dodging blasts of fire. Frost put up an ice shield as Snart fired his gun at her. She then sent an ice blast at him knocking him off his feet. Before he could recover she sent another blast knocking his gun from his hands. She the walked over to him with an icicle in her hand with a smirk on her face.
"Now Snart, I will give you a choice. You can come with me to CCPD or I can stab you in the leg and drag you there. Personally I hope you choose to be unwilling to go." Said Frost
"Frosty, why join up with the speedster in the red onesie? Join with me and my crew and we could rule this city." Said Snart
"Well for one thing I am not a criminal. I don't steal."
"Yet you have no problem going around and stabbing people with icicles."
"You have your hobbies. I have mine."
They battled for a few more minutes before Frost took Snart down and disarmed him. She walked over to a nearby police officer took his handcuffs with a wink and went over to Snart and cuffed him. Having already taken his cold gun and handing it to Eddie who had just arrived.
"So Flash need any help with the firebug?" asked Frost
"Nope."
Barry disarmed Heatwave handing the heat gun over to Joe cuffing the criminal took off only to return less then a second later with the recording of the confession of having Richard Carson killed in prison. He then swept Frost up into his arms and took off again.
"So Joe what do you think of our two new heroes?" asked Eddie
"That I hope they are careful. After all they have a little girl and baby boy at home to take care of."
"I don't think I understand." Said Eddie
"Do you really think that I am stupid? I know who those two are. Frost is Caitlin Snow and the Flash is Barry Allen. Which makes since seeing as I have known for a while that Jay Allen was the first Flash. Now let's get these two booked so they can go back to Iron Heights where they belong."
Eddie just shook his head. He should have known better then tried to fool an old cop like Joe West. He took out his phone and sent a text to Barry.
Joe West knows that you are the Flash and Caitlin is Frost. Don't worry he won't say anything.
Barry replied a short time later.
You do know that Cait being Frost is not the full story. That it is much more complicated then that. See you back at the station.
By the time Eddie and Joe arrived at the station Barry was already back and at work in the crime lab. Patty had covered for him with Julian who for some reason thought he was in charge. Barry having made a stop at Jitters on the way back had brought Patty a coffee as a thank you.
"Allen, I don't recall you asking me for permission to go get coffee." Said Julian
"Julian, you are not my boss. So I don't have to answer to you. In fact I have more seniority in this department then you even with the time I spent in a coma. Actually Patty don't you have more seniority then him?"
"Yes I do Barry. So Julian, why don't you bug off as you Brits are so fond of saying." Said Patty
"I am going to take this up with Captain Singh. I was told that I would be the head of this crime lab. Do to my expertise in hunting down metahumans."
Julian walked out of the lab. Barry and Patty exchanged a look understanding why Caitlin dumped him after only one or two dates.
