Part 59

"What do you mean it is missing?!" demanded Lyla Michaels the dictator of ARGUS

"Ma'am just that. It is not in the vault it should be in. Security footage shows only this." Said an agent

Lyla took the tablet and watched as a streak of red lightning went down the hall that led to the vaults that held some of the most dangerous artifacts ARGUS had in it's possession. Where the missing black Diablo diamond should be locked up never to see the light of day or dark of night again.

"Director Michaels what is so important about this diamond?" asked the agent

"It can cause the end of the world. I am going to Central City there is someone I need to talk to there."

Lyla grabbed her briefcase and headed out of ARGUS headquarters in Star City. She pulled out her phone and placed a call.

"Johnny tell our friend in green and his partner and the rest of his team to be at the private air field in 90 minutes. We are going to Central City to meet with both Flashs and Frost. I believe that Batman is still there as well. I am going to notify them that we are on our way. There is something that I need all of their help with."

"Roger that. Lyla, you know Oliver is not going to be happy with this." Said John Diggle

"Tough. He needs to learn to be a team player for once. He agreed to help me whenever I asked in exchange for me not having his ass thrown behind bars for being a vigilante."

"Right. See you soon. Love you."

"Love you."

Lyla hung up and got in her car to head for the airport.

"I hope that Jay is not the only member of the JSA left. Because Starman would come in handy right about now." Mumbled Lyla

Lyla grabbed her phone and hit one of her contacts.

"Director Michaels what can I do for you?" asked a female voice

"Oracle are you and Batman still in Central City?" asked Lyla

"Yes. Why?"

"Tell him to call Superman and get him to come to Central City and bring his cousin and anyone else he think can help. Tell him that the Diablo diamond is missing and that we may be dealing with Eclipso."

"That is not good. I will tell him."

"I am getting Green Arrow, Black Canary and their team to come with me to Central City. Text me when you have a place big enough to meet."

"We have a location. I will send you the location and have both Flashes and Frost meet us there."

"Good. See you in a couple hours. Thanks Ms. Gordon oh and tell Mr. Wayne that he shouldn't bother with his mask I already know who he is. I will convince Green Arrow to leave his mask and hood off."

"Good luck with that."

Lyla hung up and finished her drive to the airport.

Barbara turned to Bruce with a dark look.

"Call Superman and tell him to get to Central City and to bring Supergirl and anyone else that can help. Director Michaels said someone has taken the Diablo diamond."

"Eclipso. I remember when the JSA took him on. That was after the fiend killed Dr. Midnight's daughter. Jay Allen is the only one that has taken on that monster that is still around to tell the tale. The rest of the JSA is either dead or hiding. Though if we can find Pat Duggan he might know where Starman's cosmic staff ended up. It might come in handy. Though the man once called Stripsy might only trust Jay. Someone he knows."

"I will start looking into it. Shouldn't take long. Once we locate him Jay can go get him."

Bruce just nodded knowing that this was not going to be good. From everything he had found out about Eclipso Frost and the Kryptonians would definitely be a big help. He pulled out his phone and placed a call.

"Clark it's Bruce. Director Michaels of ARGUS needs your help and that of your cousin. If you know anyone else that could help with saving the world it would be a good idea for them to come to Central City as well."

"What is it?" asked Clark Kent

"An evil that will destroy the world and everyone on it. It will take much more then any single one of can handle on our own."

"I will call Supergirl and have her bring J'onn J'onzz with her. Just send me a location."

"It's on it's way."

Bruce hung up and texted the location of the warehouse that he had set up as a base for the Justice League he was trying to put together. Bruce looked over at Barbara who was on the phone. From her end he could tell that she was talking to Jay telling him where to find Starman's one time sidekick. She hung up and looked at Bruce.

"Jay is on his way to Blue Valley to see if Pat Duggan knows where the cosmic staff is and if he found someone who can use it." Said Barbara

"Good. Superman, Supergirl and the Martian Manhunter are going to be heading here."

"I think Stripsey is going to be in for a surprise to find out that Jay is alive."

"He should know that speedsters are hard to kill. I have a feeling that speedster that tried to kill Nora Allen is behind the thief of Eclipso. But I have a plan. Eclipso draws his power from darkness. Have you noticed that storm clouds are moving in over Central City?"

"Yes of course."

"Elcipso is starting to manipulate the weather. Blocking out the sun."

"How do we stop him?"

"That will be discussed when everyone is here. But it does involve Ms. Snow."

"What do you mean?"

"Barbara, I will explain my plan as soon as everyone is here."

"You never change. I don't know why I expect any answers from you before you are ready to give them."

Bruce didn't respond. He turned and headed for another part of the warehouse to check that everything was set up.
